This was my childhood, everyone is so nice and kind. I remember going when I was young. I’ve made many good memories here. I heard it’s closing down and I’m really upset at that, it’s like losing a part of my past. However I know I cannot do nothing about it. I am leaving a review so people can see how much I love this place despite the many times I complained about going. Thank you for everything.

The supermarket is complete especially if you are looking for asian ingredientsThe veggies, fruits are fresh, but you buy from Asia make sure to check the expiration date. The carts are old and they dont spray to clean it after each use.Update 4/22/21This store at south gate will be closed for good soon. Today everything I bought got additional 30% disc. All shelves almost empty. They still open at Alemany, Westborough and El Camino.

Prices are reasonable. Smells horrible though. Produce is fresh.

Customer service staff at the St Francis Daly City store dont understand the meaning of customer service. Often are rude and have seen them yelling at customers including at myself. Mean ladies need to find other work, maybe as prison guards?

Its ok just the way design on the parking situation, its rather akward, cars are confused which direction to exit, as cars coming in are thinking how to maneuver to enter the driveway entrance, cars backing up trying to figure which direction is the quickest way out. Just got to be patient, many times I see drivers honking at other drivers to get their arrention. I dont mind it all, just as long I get my seafood at pacific supermkt.,as this store has more selection on fish/seafood dept.

Will recommend this place for buying sealed items and not perishables there but the meat and produce are to be purchased at your own discretion. Any time I do buy meat or produce there Ill make sure its inspected before purchasing and it is cooked that day!

Nice variety of fresh produce that are picture perfect, very pretty produce selection.

This place constantly has spoiling or spoiled product. About half the time I shop there, I end up throwing away part or most of the fresh produce items before a day goes by. There are wet rags hung around or lying on the floor, I presume to soak up the leaking fridges. It almost always smells of decaying flesh near their meat department, to the point of gagging sometimes.I will only ever buy a prepackaged item from this place, and only then if I need it sooner than later and if I dont pass out when entering.I honestly do not think this place passes health standards.

You can find good cheap produce here but have to be careful. Often the discounted stuff will have mold, they are also known to use wring price tags and then accidently overcharge you at the register.

Not well maintained at all. Everything in this store needs some attention, carts, isles, etc.

Convenient location with a large parking lot but the market itself is kind of grubby and doesnt have the best selection of stuff. Much prefer 99 Ranch.

I love pacific supermarket but this one smelled bad, had a smaller selection than the other one in westbrough blvd and the lady at first agreed to let me return my items then halfway thru said no, and that I had to go to the other store to return. Wouldn’t even let me exchange. She also tried to get me to put my bag at the counter (wouldn’t feel safe doing that).

You can buy almost everything you want in reasonable prices.

In short: a Third-Worldish Super market in the US of A. Badly maintained equipments. Lackluster service. An out-house would have been better than the restroom there. HEALT INSPECTORS, are you paying attention? The people around there deserves better than that.

Wide array of international fresh vegetables n fruits. Love them all wrapped up...look clean and neat.

I have to bring my grandpa here on multiple occasions because he likes to get snack from here but I can’t bare to go in with him because of the strong odor of fish lol

Everything is there but the vegetables they sell are to big packages they should have small amount of the veggies so they sell more and won’t waste or throw it most of the time.

The produce section is great-- fresh, wide selection. The rest of the store has Asian staples. The meat/seafood section is huge, but I had trouble finding fresh shabu shabu meat (maybe not the best place for Japanese food). Taking away stars because the place needs a good cleaning.

Pacific Supermarket is an ok place to go grocery shopping but a better place to go eat and grocery shopping is 99 Ranch. Pacific Supermarket is kinda need an upgrade to the place, plus the fresh food doesnt look much of a fresh items.If you need something quick and parking, then Pacific Supermarket can provide that to you. As 99 Ranch can be subjective in finding a parking place, especially during weekends. The place gets really packed, pretty much every day and worse on weekends plus the holidays,For Pacific Supermarket getting in is a hassle because the entrance is in the middle of the store. So you ended up bumping with the shoppers that are going out. And incase of fire, going out will be a hassle as they block both ends of the store, that supposedly service as an entrance as you go in. Terrible things for them to do this as they know whats the best for their customers.

It seems that produce there always is on the last day of its shelf life. Canned goods, milk etc are fine. The isles are narrow.

Yesterday morning Feb 17,2019 I bought 1 Jumbo Pomelo for $7.99...last night when I open it so dissapointed its already spoiled the whole pomelo....this morning 2/18 I called Pacific supermarket just to tell them because I cannot bring it back...I will consume $15 for the Uber...I tell them my dissapointment.

Just recently I decided to go buy some water and as I entered the store, I heard someone shout excuse me So I nevertheless looked back when this little woman cashier commended me to handover my backpack to send it to the front desk in order to prevent shoplifting supposedly. Confused, I asked her what exactly did she want from me when another man entered the store with a backpack and she asked him the same thing... From there, I took off since no way in hell am I going to do such thing. They arent going to get any revenue from me thats for sure.The way they treat their customers like criminals is beyond me. Way to drive off your customers morons! Hopefully this filthy supermarket will file bankruptcy soon.

Dirty, stinky, but cheap produce. Not good for getting canned or boxed goods as they only have name-brand. Decent meat and veggies, though.

For asians, this market is good for shopping.It has hot food to go, near the entrance door. Located in shopping center, plenty of parking space (on the side as well).

Disgusting. Very run down and dirty. Seems like the place is never cleaned up. Theres animal blood in the fruits section, on the cashier counters, everywhere. Dont know how they passed any health inspection.
