First time in this afternoon. Ladies were very nice, very knowledgeable about holiday ordering. Got the smokes turkey sandwich to go with a side of potato salad. Best freakin sandwich Ive ever had! Tater salad was good, too. I will definitely be back!

The store is so loud of there are more than a handful of customers. The two employees helping me couldnt hear me. To make matters worse, they were out of slices of ham, and my only option was to buy a full ham. Im not sure how youre out of slices ham to package up but there are plenty of boneless and bone-in hams for me to buy.

This place has the worst customer service. My husband drove all the way out to this location on 12/21 to pick up a reserved ham. The cashier told him a little after 6:30 pm that the system was down and that they would not be able to process any forms of payment for the hams. He asked how am I supposed to get my ham?. They said, just come back tomorrow. He had a coupon for $8 off a bone in ham if picked up from 12/19 to 12/21. I expected they would honor the coupon since it was their mistake/issue. My husband went back on 12/22 to pick up the ham (as they directed) and they would not honor the coupon. The supervisor on duty said to him rudely I was here last night at 6:30 pm and our systems were NOT down.The employees here are inconsiderate. I have also been sitting on the phone for over 15 minutes trying to call the store to speak directly to the supervisor regarding this issue. Do yourself a favor and pick another location to pick up your ham.

I ordered our Christmas Ham/Turkey and Mouse Cake in November. I wont bore you with the details but HBH messed that up and we had to reorder, moving the delivery date to the 23rd. As of late morning of the 24th, we had received sides we didnt order but no ham nor turkey. Phone lines impossible to get through on, emails/chat non responsive and tracking system stating only out for delivery. I began calling local stores and found a ham/turkey at a HBH location about 5 miles from the house. I was truly grateful, paid the $90.00, oh did I mention that my order was $250.00 and went home. About an hour later, you guessed it, the meat arrives. Waiting until Monday, today and called. They said the tracking system stated it was delivered on the 23rd. I said why in the hell would I purchase another ham and turkey that will not keep and will have to be thrown out if the ham and turkey were there?! Multiple supervisors later they gave me $53 for the turkey and $10.00 back on my express shipping which I asked why if everything arrived on time...crickets. I will learn to bake my own ham and I have made it a mission to tell everyone. Not about the money, about the principal. They know their system was broken over Christmas. They know what they put people through. I assume many people were not as fortunate as myself and were not able to have ham and turkey on Christmas...oh well...

Got exactly what we ordered. Yum!

Bought a ham 3 days before christmas at nwhw location. No one in store which was odd. Sign up saying cash only because cc machine was down. Got a large ham and went on my way. Opened at chridtmas to find a completely unglazed ham. I then remembered they have always shown the ham before you buy. They didnt this time and product was grossly substandard although edable. Never never purchase from them unless you see ham first.

I only planned on making White Bean Soup for Christmas Eve....I called 30 minutes before they closed at the Midway/NW Hwy location and I was there 6 minutes before 4:30 (when they told me they lock the door)....well the door was LOCKED and although me and another customer (on time) knocked and knocked on the window, (we could see a light on) shortly the light went off. I was beyond upset.....I had NO CHRISTMAS EVE dinner to serve. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, especially on CHRISTMAS EVE!!!

There is no better ham than a honey baked ham.sides are great too. Staff is terrific.

We pre-ordered a roasted turkey breast for our Thanksgiving dinner and went to pick it up the night before. The place was swarmed and they were running out of orders. They ran out of out of our roasted turkey and replaced it with smoked. It wouldnt be a big deal except this happened to ~10 other people with pre-orders just within the 15 minutes we were there, and they were kind of rude to one of the reasonably frustrated customers.

Always love the ham, but at this time of year, there should be 1 person selling the ham and 1 person taking and making the sandwiches 🙄

Once again long lines, but you meet the nicest folks standing in that line💕and the gentleman helping with the sides is a jewel, I travel from Va. to Dallas for the holidays and this has to be the third times this gentleman has been all smiles and helpful 💕

My ham had a lot of fat. I couldnt exchange or trade due to Covid-19. I will never pre order again. Disappointed😞

I know they are known for their hams BUT you HAVE to try their bacon! The sweet glaze bacon is soooo good! Plus, they have great customer service & although the line was long, the staff was quick so things moved fast.

I waited in a social distance line and picked up a smoked turkey.

Youll have to excuse me I cant remember which sandwich I ate but it was amazing. A little pricey if low on funds but definitely worth it

Sorry in advance, but this is going to be a short review. The place is amazing, the product is incredible, and the service is exceptional. There really isnt any room for improvement, unless of course you want to talk about their price. They are expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. I had a half ham and it came out to $60. When the gentleman brought my ham out, he opened it up so that I could see and inspect it for quality. It was seven and a half per pound and just under 8 pounds. Then, I had a whole frozen smoked turkey, and it was $42. My total was $101.09. Last winter, I had two hams from them, and both were incredible. Like I said, not much room for improvement. It is worth the price.

They treat you wonderfully.... like a small family business and the hams (and turkeys) are out of this world delicious. Expect to possibly wait in line during holiday time, but it is well worth it. Been going there for years and will continue to do so.

I asked for a ham that would feed 7-10 people. The worker gave me a 7 lb ham. One lb per person? She didn’t try to help me. She tried to rip me off. Never going back to HBH because of that experience.
