I’ve been living in Texas for two years now and no body told me NOTHING about Central Market.The minute you walk in, you see all the fruits and vegetables. I felt like I was in a farmers market. One thing I love is that I can weigh and price my produce before I get to the checkout. No surprises!!Produce is good but you have to make sure you don’t go crazy— it’s by the pound!!The oatmeal pecan chocolate chip cookies are dope. You can get a box of 6 for 5.99.The only thing I wish is that they offered canvas bags. I have to bring my Whole Foods bags into the store just to be environmentally conscious.**EDIT** Found the branded canvas bags. I’m all set now. 💪🏽

Shed the crafty marketing, the store does offer products that Whole Paycheck cannot even pretend to offer at commensurate prices. The other side of the spectrum of the refrain because one truly gets what one pays for.The Produce Dept has delightful variety but some of the other aisles have limited suppliers. The Seafood Dept is not for the discriminating customer.Love the notice in the Bakery Dept about not everyone needing the same amount of daily calories. Note to myself: no need to tally your calories daily!H. E. Butt does its homework rather well. Neither Houston nor San Antonio have so many Central Market stores as DFW yet the burbs in those two metro areas have competitive HEB stores selling upmarket with more diverse choices.

Great health food store and not as pricy as you would think. Most things are sold in bulk again so you can measure what you need and go. Deli and cheese employees are very helpful. Did not need a full size block of cheese. Asked the cheese laid if she could narrow it down to just a quarter of the block. She did it no questions asked.

Love Central Market! They have the fresher food Ive ever had. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food is so fresh! You can find just about anything you can image. There seafood is second to no one and the butchers know what they are doing! I wish they would build one bear me.

Wow this store is stunning. All of the departments but especially the produce department is spectacular. I’m so grateful to have access to so many options that are nutritious and unique. I love the exotic fruit section and everything is beautifully displayed with care. I want to give a special thank you to Neuru in the produce section. He was so kind and talked to me about exotic fruit and even offered to sample a few different fruits! He was very knowledgeable and he’s from East Africa which was really cool. Thanks Central Market for having an amazing team of people and for being the best grocery store!

Their baked bread is very very bland. both whole foods and even the Le Madeline in that same shopping center has much much much better bread. central market bread tastes stale every single time i buy it.and whats worse is that they dont even wrap or store their muffins/cookies in a case. theyre unwrapped for people to cough on, flies to land on, dust to settle on etc... really gross. not sure its even legal.

Helpful, knowledgeable, the work environment appears healthy, and they carry my favorite yogurt. The chocolate cake is to die for!

Great selection of a variety of products. All the employees are courteous and very helpful finding what you need. The bulk spice, seed, herbs, and staples area is really nice. Recommended.

It was my first time at a central market, I usually shop at whole foods but a friend recommended that I give it a try.I had a good experience, I came shopping for lamb and some veggies and spices to make greek lamb chops. We were able to find all the ingredients, the veggies were very fresh and I was told they are sourced locally which is great.The only con was the price of the lamb was much higher than what I pay at whole foods, which is already pricey.

Central Market is an amazing grocery store. In my opinion, it makes Whole Foods look like 7/11. Central Market is quality through and through. The management, staff, and baristas are always friendly and helpful, so how can you go wrong!

The experience was great, the bakery staff was VERY helpful. However, the cupcakes were woefully lackluster, despite how mouthwatering they appeared to be. They were PRETTY, but I wish that I had just made my own because it was a HUGE letdown😔☹️😕.

An upscale grocer that is able to provide all the tastes in the world to your palette. Its more than just purchasing finer produce or better meats but it is almost like purchasing artistry. The way everything is presented is as if God selected those items himself.

Grocery guys are always so helpful and funny. Cashiers always have something stuck up the rear which kind of ruins the great mood but the fellas make up for it. It is so odd. Its like they hire the nicest guys and the most easily annoyed girls

This is a totally different shopping experience. Absolutely astonishing selection of produce , meats, fresh pressed juice stand right in the middle of the fruits and vegetables. Select cuts of meats only a connoisseur could properly identify. I personally dont drink ,however the beer case is stocked full of colorful with local brands from local breweries , as well as hard to find exotics. Central Market is very selective in what they sell. They support many Texas companies by selling their products. Most products have to be approved or have a certain standard of quality in order to be sold. You get what you pay for here , if I could actually afford it? Id shop here everyday. The ready to go meals are less than a n ten bucks and you get 2 huge sides and your choice of half,whole or quarter chicken. I wont even go into describing the chicken. That would be a maze of words that make your mouth salivate and leave you feeling desperate to get your Friday night chicken 🐔 on !! Also gentlemen heres a tip, Tuesday after 7pm the single rose are $2 a pop. By the way the floral department, speechless just beautiful and it leaves you speechless!!

Store was very nice and clean. I used to shop there many years ago, and now the place has greatly improved. Wide variety of fruits and vegetables, nice assortment of fish and meats. Friendly and helpful staff as will. Ill definitely be shopping there again.

Seriously. This store has such great management, and I always leave with a full shopping cart and a smile on my face. Antonio is a magician in the sandwich department - he is so kind, and makes the effort to be sure that your sandwich is exactly what you had hoped for. He encouraged me to find one of their house made soups to go with my sandwich - great upselling and it was a great suggestion! This is officially my new happy place.

Not big enough parking for the amount people that go in the store. This was also the smallest Central Market that I’ve been too. It’s very new, so I liked that. They sold more normal stuff than gourmet off brand items.

Bought ready to eat food on 7/13, and something that had never happened before, happened: found a sticker on a piece of yellow bell pepper. Disgusting and careless! I won’t be buying cooked food from here, again.

Great store! The produce department is excellent. This store has a mushroom section that has varieties that most stores never stock. They stock Angelo Pietro Salad dressings which are a key item in my pantry. The service deli has a large variety of items. Very nice staff. They are very friendly and helpful.

Helpful staff that goes above and beyond some other locations. Particularly in wine and cheese. Expensive but worth it in some cases

Central Market never fails to have what I want when it comes to great cuts of meat, fresh fish or that certain ingredient I cant find elsewhere. Were I to be forced to lodge a complaint of any sort, it would be that I live too far away. The Midway and NW HWY store is a tad smaller than my favorite location, but I had no problem finding exactly what I wanted.

I get it. Be nice and friendly to customers, but when theres a line, the customer has already paid and is standing there with their bags and talking and wont leave, have the courtesy to thank them and let them know you need to get to the other customers trying to check out and get on with their lives

Many high quality, rare, imported and hard-to-find items but lacking in everyday common-use products.

We wish Central Market would follow us wherever we travel! We find ourselves googling the closest one. We go out of our way. We wander around wanting to buy everything. Then we are always surprised when we buy so much. Then we do it all over again...everyday we are close to one. Maybe it is a good thing they dont follow us where we travel!

Customer service is hands down the most amazing of any grocery store I’ve shopped in this area. I have been shopping here for about 10 years. There has always been a great assortment of fruits and veggies. I love that I can get HEB products at CM. I’ve found items here that you don’t tend to see anywhere else in DFW-hard sausage from St.Louis; H&H bagels; Highland Sour Cream!

Literally everything here is fresh, staff is friendly. Everything here is unique, and ready to go. Unlike larger chain grocery stores the HEB or Central Market brand items are superb, to the unique coco , fresh cookies, mixed Bellinis to the pre made lunches. Fresh breads, cheese, spices, coffees. Its honestly a new found quarantine wanna be chefs dream!

Central Market has a great selection of hot soups. Couldnt decide so had both Gumbo and Butternut squash soup. Both were very good. Great for a cold winter day!

I love Central market! However, I purchased some fresh red snapper and the Butcher did not filet it properly. He could have told us he did not feel comfortable doing so, but instead we were in for a surprise when we arrived home.

Most of the employees, act, as if you owe them something. They dont even want to look at you; and if you say hi to them, they ignore you. They are rude, most of the time. Most of the cashiers, are friendly; but not all of them; some of them are very rude also!

Their produce and meats and Deli are excellent. A wide variety of everything you would want Im great gourmet food.

I came as an Instacart shopper shopping for a customer. Some of the items the customer’s order was really awesome! So I came back for myself and bought a few items from what the customer had. I bought a traditional rotisserie chicken with butter flour homemade tortillas from the bakery and homemade salsa, I forget what it’s called. Their produce is nice and the store itself is clean. It’s like a maze in there, but the employees are super helpful when you need help finding certain items. HEB has always been known to be a high pricey store, but it’s worth going. I have to drive to North Dallas to get to the best stores such as Whole Foods, but it’s worth the trip each time!

Safeway stores have better service. This was my first time going into a Central Market, I wanted to buy some meat but no even acknowledge my presence. In fact they purposely ignored me, I understand, they were busy but no excuse for bad service. The cashier was the only friendly and courteous person there, unbelievable. Maybe people arent happy working there, i dont know I am not from Dallas just giving my experience shopping there. nice selection of produce and meats!

This place doesnt have Google or Apple pay! Had to leave my groceries here. This is unacceptable! I will not be coming here again. Believe me, I have plenty of options when it comes to groceries.

I always love coming to Central Market. So much variety in cheese and in organic foods. They also have a station by the front door that has older produce that is still good but just a bit more beat up or simply odd looking for a cheaper price.

Very disappointed, my total was $24.66 and I gave the cashier $40. 2 20’s my change was suppose to be $15.34 but she only gave me $6.34. A $5 bill and a $1 bill to be more exact. Her name was CHASTITY M.

I always find unique things to buy that are very good! The young man who told me about the different brands of beer did a great job and the beer he recommended was great! I was a little disappointed the did not carry my beer (Guinness blonde) nor do they cook and sell brisket anymore that was my favorite, although the roasted chicken I bought was good!

This is a very nice market. It is clean, has a great selection of products. The produce is especially impressive. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dont expect Walmart prices though. Remember you get what you pay for...

Good experience nice and early. One criticism is there is no sanitizer at produce scales. Lots of hands touching those printers.

It’s like $16 for an onion, and the customers here are the worst.Everyone who shops here has no regard for personal space, and no concept of moving intentionally in public spaces so you don’t get in everyone else’s way. Constantly, the most snot-nosed people, standing as close to you as possible, walking around the store as if they’re on LSD in the middle of Manhattan. No sense of direction or courtesy.Produce is very fresh, great selection.

One of the only places to get Seltzers Lebanon Bologna! This place does an amazing job at being cleanly and quick with your orders too. Can order online if youre so inclined!

Great grocery store

Too crowded but great store

Despite my best efforts, I am addicted to this grocery store. I love finding new and interesting produce to try cooking. The prepared meats are amazing and usually a reasonable price. They have a great beer selection (discovered Manhattan Project Beer Co here). And dont forget the house-made tortillas or cheese variety. I just show up and let my stomach lead the way. Definitely love when they have special events, like Citrus Fest or Hatch Chile season. The employees are always friendly and very helpful. Never enjoyed grocery shopping this much before.

Disappointed, pricey fresh squeezed orange juice is undrinkably sour. Cmon, find some decent source of oranges! Quality control.

Not only a great place to buy groceries, but it is also a good place to pick up lunch.

Great store and perfect location, never been to this facility but it lives up to Central Markets reputation. Going back soon now that I know that its close to my home.
