I was in need of a little extra cash for an unexpected car repair and had a gold coin available fo sell. I looked up options through google and came across a review where another person had a great experience selling their gold coin. I made an appointment online and within about 5 mins I got a call. They confirmed my appointment and then asked if it was okay to meet at their Addison location due to it being the weekend. He was punctual and friendly. He quickly looked at the coin, checked the current value and gave me a very good offer (which of course I accepted). Within about 10 mins I was out the door! Friendly and quick service.

The guy I spoke with on the phone didn’t have time for my omega watch— pretty rude and told me he couldn’t meet with me. Wouldn’t recommend.

I posted a long detailed review on Yelp. I had a little suitcase full of coins that I have thought about selling for a year. I finally did a little research and realized none were rare but had melt value. I also had a pair of 22k Lagos earrings I have worn 10 or so times in the past 20 years.By the grace of God I found Bret.I really did not want to go to a Dallas gold and silver type situation...I had so much and I did not feel like they would look at everything and a suitcase full of coins on a glass counter in a large retail space makes me nervous as anyone can see what you have and what you are walking out with.I googled and read reviews for many coin dealers and metals buyers. After reading Brets reviews I called to make an appointment. We meet in a professional building. Very private, very professional. Bret met me in the reception area.The level of professionalism & customer service, was above and beyond (I am a customer service freak...so I think everyone who meets him will agree)The process was wonderful, felt like I had known him forever...we talked about the coins, gold, and our families. Great sense of humor and just a great person. I knew enough to sort of know what I had - and what I can say from my little bit of knowledge is he is an expert. His buying numbers were spot on too.I will never sell to anyone. I will not buy without calling him...even if I have a question about jewelry, precious stones and metals - he will be the go to!So much integrity. I found myself needing to sell a gold coin that I’d bought from Dallas Gold & Silver Exchange many years ago for some quick cash. I needed quick cash for my gold and silver and tried my local gold buyer in Mississippi. I was offered $800 for two gold chains and a gold ring. One of the chains was 22ct and the other 18ct. I had to go to Dallas to visit my first grandchild and decided I would get more in a large city like Dallas.Brett offered me $1,800 without the ring (only worth about $150) plus he gave me top dollar for my $20 gold coins and my silver dollars. The only reason I give this outfit one star is because it wouldn’t let me review them unless I did. Beware of this place. They gave me $400 for 14k gold studs at 9.7 grams. When I pointed out the discrepancy between his scale and mine. He fiddled with his scale and magically got the weight right. The scrap weight was worth 510.00. Bret basically took my husbands class ring for free, as he did two chains I had. He told me they were both 10k. I bought the longer myself and it was 14k. I called this AM and asked to cancel the sale but was told that it had already been sent to melt. This was less than 24 hours later. I sincerely doubt it. Seller beware.

The gentleman said yes & that he was 20 minutes away - he clearly had no intention of letting me know that he would be 30 minutes late. Very disappointing when I had carved out time in the middle of a work day for an appointment.
