Technician came out to look at our gate, determined we needed a new receiver. DKTX sends invoice for over $200, nothing is fixed at this point. Call them repeatedly to inquire about when they will be coming to install this receiver. No one has a clue about what is going on. A month has gone by, half a dozen phone calls, and finally someone gets on the phone to let us know they havent even ordered the part. Then they want to charge another $200+ for a $45 receiver that we got on Amazon and could install ourselves. Dont even bother with these guys, plenty of other reputable companies with good customer service eager to do business out there!In response to your response:Your technician came to do the diagnostics visit almost 2 weeks prior to the storms that caused any power outages. You charged for the visit yet did not follow through on what needed to be done. I do agree chaos is an accurate description for your company.

This company has terrible customer service. Twice theyve not shown up when scheduled and didnt bother to call, then just last week they called to say that in order to show up, we would have to pay over $350! That was their trip charge - way more than our HOA has ever been charged by them! Do yourselves a favor - find an honest, dependable company to take care of your repair needs. DO NOT call Doorking of Texas!!Paula - thanks for your response. The biggest issue wasnt just that you suddenly tripled my trip charge without telling me that when I initially called to schedule. It was that I called on Thursday, July 5 and was told someone would be out the following week. I called back on July 13 to see why no one had shown up and was told you had a big job and had pulled everyone off other jobs to do that. Someone should have called during the week of the 9th to tell me no one would be here, and I should have been told up front about the new trip charge. When your office called me on Monday, July 23, it wasnt to schedule the call, it was to tell me the manager said it would be over $300 just to come out. Dont make this just about the money. Your management staff needs to take a customer service course on how to deal with customers.I found someone to come out the same day I called them to look at the situation, and even though they had to drive 45 minutes to get here, they still only charged me a $120 trip charge. They also completed the work within 3 days of diagnosis AND texted or called to keep me informed. Now THAT is how you do customer service!

Terrible customer service. Spoke with 3 different representatives and all were very rude and unprofessional. In fact when asking to speak with a supervisor I got screamed at by the representative.
