They did a great job repairing the AC condenser on our truck. Dealership wanted $1400, Davis charged $971. Fast and efficient.

Past 2 years I have serviced and repaired most of my cars here, I own a used car dealership if any of my cars needed servicing or repair I brought them here to fixed them, they are very professional, pricing are very fair and reasonable, I am 15 miles away from them but their good job and reliable service makes me keep sending all my cars here. I recommend this shop to anyone.

Over charged on parts and labor. After questioning the owner responded this is my business I charge what I want. I would never come here again terrible service even worse customer service. Also scheduled for a state inspection that they somehow forgot to do.

I you have a dodge that needs to be repaired or looked at take it to Davis. They are straight shooters and will tell you exactly what your car or truck really needs. Dont waste your time or money anywhere else.

After Davis Auto performed a minor repair, we heard additional issues and noises. We returned and asked them to take a look as part of their warranty on repairs. When we returned after the second time they demanded we pay for the additional check bc they discovered a new issue. We were never called or told this would be done only at an additional fee. Please ask very clearly about charges when dealing with them. Also they had a lot to say to us and the other customers we saw there, all while not wearing mandated covid face masks or covering. This will definitely be the last time we go there for work on our cars.

Brought in my Tacoma for an AC issue in August. They not only offered to get it in that day, they had it fixed within 48 hours and had an extremely reasonable price. Going to take my next repair to Davis - they were super friendly and since I used to work on my own vehicles I can tell they are good.

We have been coming here since we got to Texas a year and a half ago. Its always a nervous situation finding a new mechanic in a new town...we hit the jackpot in meeting Randy by chance! We have a high mileage older vehicle, and at 207,000 miles, she is still running great thanks to Davis auto. These guys are fabulous. I have been using the shop since they were located over on Greenville. My van is 14 years old and they do an excellent job keeping it in tiptop shape. They have proven to be very honest and their pricing is very reasonable.

I met with the owner of Davis Automotive and he recommended to perform a diagnosis of my transmission electrical system for a nominal fee because my transmission was not operating properly. Their diagnosis resulted in recommending a solenoid to be replaced and specified which solenoid. This resulted in a net savings of approximately $4,000.00 versus replacing my entire transmission as recommended by several specialty transmission shops. I highly recommend Davis Automotive!After replacing the solinoid as recommended a year ago , my transmission has been operating excellent for more than a year.

Seeking a convenient shop to perform some repair, I dropped in for quote. I was happy with the professionalism, and cleanliness of their facility. I feel the quality and price were very fair. I would highly recommend.

On 7/10/2019 & 208,302 mileage, I Took my Chev 1500 Suburban to them as the A/C blower stopped working, they replaced a resistor, connector & blower motor for $525.73. The blower blows normal on the driver side but barely blows on passenger side, after returning to Davis Automotive a couple time and being told its normal. Asked Randy why did it use to blow the same on both sides (pass & drivers sides) before and all I got was JUST another excuse. BUT NOT CORRECTED. Their invoice VERY CLEARLY SAYS they give a ONE YEAR or 12,000 miles Warranty on ALL REPAIRS.On 9/20/2019 & 208,763 mileage, I again took my same Suburban for the A/C system on the passenger side blows warm most of the time while the drivers side blows cold air now. Randy then advise that they need to replace both the left & right temp actuators needs to be replaced and the total cost is $1,101.81. I agreed & paid the $1,101.81. However, I kept having the same problems as I had in the first place within days and after the 3rd time, I returned to them to do what I paid for and NOT GETTING IT DONE, I was told WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. I then asked for a RE-FUND, as their invoice VERY CLEARLY SAYS they give a ONE YEAR or 12,000 miles Warranty on ALL REPAIRS. But was told NO we cant do that, as we had to pay the mechanic for whatever work he did, even if it didnt correct the original problem I paid for.On 2/6/2020 and mileage of 214,429 I took it to Allisons AutoCare, Plano, TX and within hours of testing they advise me that the problem they found was the SENSOR was UNPLUGGED, they plugged it in, reassembled the instrument cluster, A/C control head and radio and the system is operating as it did when the vehicle was new. The total cost for testing, finding problem, correcting the unplugged sensor etc. was just over $300.00, BIG difference from the $1,101.81 I paid for to Davis Automotive and repaired Anything. Also, I asked Allisons AutoCare to check why the blower not blowing the same on the passenger side and they advised that debris must have been left in the the vent when the blower motor was replace. I cant say they are cheapest, but they stand by their work, and no charge for assessing problem and providing an estimate.Used convenient drop box on nights/weekend. Got call next business day with what I needed to know.

Don’t trust them and I will never take my business to them again. They really don’t know what they are doing. Very close to filling a law suite against them for damages they caused to my vehicle. 🤬

I have been using them for 3 years. They are honest, reliable, and do things by the book. I have had them do some hard work on my 91 MR2 (timing belt, alternator, oil leaks) and they did good work on an old hard car. They have always had at least 2 of the same people running the show as long as I have used them and I always talk to the same people. They have been around a long time and know what they are doing.

Rick is a very knowledgeable diagnostician and is fair and honest with his clients. He is certainly at the top of my list of shops I would recommend.

Got front driver boot replaced on my Honda element here. It took a few extra hours because the mechanic was having unusual trouble putting everything back together, which is fine with me I expect car work to be an all day thing anyways.Come a month later, Im getting my tires aligned at a different shop and they inform me it was done incorrectly. The parts they replaced are now salvage due to excessive wear from improper installation. So Im guessing when it was getting put together they just said screw it and rigged it so itd be fine temporarily. Wish they would have just told me there was still a problem when I left.

These people are phenomenal! Honest, helpful, reasonably priced. Dont go to the dealer for maintenance. Go here!

Took my 2008 Lexus ES350 to have the intermediate steering shaft replaced with a new OEM part I supplied myself. Rick asked the right questions when I called to scheduled the procedure and was fine with installing my part since it was new and not remanufactured or used. They did the work while I waited and charged me a reasonable amount in line with the time it took to do the work. The work was done correctly and the problem I had is gone. They had free internet and complimentary coffee, water and soda. I was able to work there while I waited. Very pleased with the experience and I will definitely use them again when I have the need.

These guys are bandits. Charged me $400+ for a $200 part and then 4.5hrs labour @$95/hr for a 1hr job.

Just moved from Utah, was referred to Davis from a friend, dont know much about fixing cars but these guys fixed everything and was fast and convenient. I will now bring all my cars to Davis and I run a Dealership here in Texas also and they will now get all my service work as well.
