I called Arnold this morning because the spring on my door snapped last night and the frame bent in the process. My car was trapped in the garage. He was able to come out a few hours later to take a look. After looking at the damage, we determined the best option was replacing the entire door, frame, and spring. Arnold was able to move some other calls and get the new door installed for me today! I even had options available to choose from. Thank you for rescuing me and my car!

I highly recommend Balkan Doors for garage door services. I had a broken spring, a detached cable, a bent track, and a problem with the bracket anchoring my upper track. The guy was able to get here 3 hours after I called him, was super friendly, worked swiftly, and was able to repair everything without upselling me on anything. Even checked out the opener, which had been under added stress before I knew the extent of the issues, and assured me that it is still (surprisingly) in decent shape. Also, I liked that he asked me to take some pictures and text them to him after our initial call, so he showed up prepared for exactly what he needed to do.

They’re so great, the owner came out during a power outage because I couldn’t get the quick release to work..... find out I was using the wrong key the whole time but he still made sure it was all taken care of and went out of his way. I was hoping that there was a fix for the door we got that was 6 taller (walk through door could clear the track that way). He came and sadly, there was no fix. Called on a Friday morning and Arnold was there that afternoon for a free estimate. Our door had a cable snap and Arnold was quick to point out the issue. Seeing as I already had figured it was time for a door replacement regardless, I just has him quote on that. The price was great and he offered to have it installed next day if I needed it that quick.When installation day came, he showed up when he said he would with his team, finished the job in less time than he said it would take, and the invoice was the same price estimated the previous day. Our garage door opener would close like 3 and then go back open and sometimes would close all the way. I remember my son (who is in the trades) had garage door prob and I asked him who he called and he said Balkan Doors and he said he was awesome. So I called Arnold and he said I can come tomorrow . I asked how much to come out and he said Free Estimate .After checking everything out, he said we needed to replace the garage opener. Ours was probably from the early 2000s .He gave us a quote to install a new one and said that he he could come back the next day. I had actually posted on my Facebook to see who knows anything about garage doors & a lot of people had tagged Arnold! I had no idea what to do, I dont know ANYTHING about garages. Arnold came over SAME DAY that I called, and as soon as he walked through the door found the problem in the snap of a finger. I had a broken spring & with the broken spring came a busted motor in my 1994 Chamberlain opener. So, we had to replace that. He fixed my springs & came back the next day ready to go on MY TIME! He made himself available for ME, I thought it was extremely thoughtful and nice of him to wait til I was available to accommodate me. He replaced my WHOLE garage opener system. He was extremely affordable I can not express that enough!!!!! 24/7 service too!!!!! Not many people I searched had that. Super awesome. Used Balkan to get my garage door fixed (torsion spring). The spring broke late Friday not and I used Thumbtack to communicate with Balkan Saturday morning. Arnold came out same day, within a couple hours, to replace the springs. I decided that it was also time for a new garage door opener and Arnold gave me a great price on a LiftMaster. He was about to come back on Monday to do the install. He even replaced my weather stripping for free. Very good, fast, quality work.....highly recommend.

Not only was he willing to remove a door from another house that we had received for free, but he also reframed our door opening so the door would fit (as we had an old wooden door that was cut to fit). Great first experience with Arnold and Balkan Door Company! One of our cars was stuck in the garage due to a broken/jammed door. I called many companies for quotes. The others seemed to want me to jump right in to a replacement job, but Arnold provided a refreshingly personal approach. Normal work day was over and he was almost all the way home, and he willingly turned around to provide same day assistance to get me out of my immediate predicament. Also, he didnt just look at the door, tell me it needed to be replaced, and then leave (like others did). Rather, he actually took the time to look closely at the issues and then put some sweat into it so we could get my car out. I appreciated that because now I can actually think about what option I want to do moving forward, rather than rushing into an expensive decision just so I can resume life rhythms. I am not sure about their garage installation services but I can tell you that after driving behind one of their drivers in their gray Balkan door service pick up that the drivers an absolute mess when he’s driving speeding changing lanes traffic controlling just an absolute mess of a driver and personally not somebody that I would want to service my garage door.
