Lovely displays and items. We were not greeted or approached. Just observed as we looked at merchandise. Not even a Hello or Welcome. Granted, we were browsing, but even a quick greeting would be nice.

The woman I worked with in May was soon to retire. She was friendly and knowledgeable. The actual store is well displayed. I think it is the best Pottery Barn I’ve been to.

I will never buy anything from this store ever again. I went to buy a dining room table and chairs just after Christmas. I was told the availability of the table was within 1 month of purchase. The lady handling the order also ordered the wrong size table. It is now April, and I have had to correct the order 3 times due to the fact that the person who placed the order didnt know how to use their system and could tell that the table was back ordered. The table and chairs were supposed to be shipped all together, and I have had 3 separate deliveries after they lost a chair in the process. I still have not received my dining room table and have been charged twice for shipping and handling. When you call for customer assistance you have to talk to 5 different people to rectify the problems. Overall horrible experience, extreamly unprofessional, and unorganized. We were foolish enough to open the credit card, I cant regret this purchase enough. I dont recommend buying from this circus at all.

Very bad customer service. I have bought A LOT of products from them. They lured me into buying from the store and not online because they would “help and assist” if I had issues. Well let me tell you....I had more issues with my furniture from this company than any other company. I have called and most days I am unable to get help. I hear a lot of “we will call you back today” and no one returns my calls. I would NEVER EVER buy furniture from Pottery Barn again!

I went in to buy a gift card. Nobody was at the register so I went to where a woman was seated talking to a couple about their wedding registry. I stood there for a few minutes. She glanced at me a couple of times and continued talking to the couple.I walked around the store looking at items then came back awhile later. She was still talking to the couple. Again she looked at me and looked away without any acknowledgement that I was there.I gave up and was on my way out of the store when another woman who I hadnt seen earlier went over to a register. She was very friendly and helpful. Shes the only reason I didnt give just one star.

Absolutely horrible experience. We walk in and the workers were having a full our argument with a different customer. Blonde lady said to the man “you don’t need to argue with me” We went for a return and it was so bad. They didn’t have enough cash and said “we know it’s not your fault”. Then said “we can tell by your facial expressions this isn’t going well”. (We made no facial expressions) She did not give her name but we were treated terribly. We were going to buy a good amount of things but we ended up leaving the items because she was being so manic and rude. Horrible staff.

I went in to purchase a gift off a bridal registry, and waited about 5 minutes while 2 women at the register both handled phone calls. I had no problem with waiting, although I did find it odd that neither acknowledged me the entire time. When I finally got the registry, I couldnt locate the item I was looking for. One sales associate walking by said We dont have that, but we should have these items... I started looking for a new item, which again, I could not find. I then asked a woman at the counter to help me find the item in the store, and she said Oh no, it doesnt work like that here. Tell me what you want and I will see if we have it in stock. I have no clue why the first woman didnt tell me that, but I had wasted at least 10 minutes looking for things that apparently only exist in their stock room. I then waited another 5-7 minutes for a person in the stock room to check, but finally the sales associate got tired of waiting too and checked herself (in all fairness, she was very polite and tried to be helpful). I thought I was finally in the clear with this store, until I realized she never took the item off the registry, even though I had asked several times if she had done so. I actually called back the next day, and an associate apologized, said he would do it for me, and to checked again in a little bit. Its been 24 hours and still isnt done. While I think most of the workers tried to be polite and helpful, I am super unimpressed with the mistakes and inefficient way they do things.

Here is Pottery Barns answer to global warming: keeping their giant doors wide open on a 91 deg. day in Garden City while blasting the air conditioner (see picture, taken July 29,2019). Stop by and let them know that you are not going to shop there until they get their heads out of their butts regarding climate change. They claim to be sustainable, but obviously they have no idea what that means. I confronted the clerk at the desk and have contacted corporate but they just dont care. By the way this practice is illegal in NYC, so ask them to please SHUT THE DOOR!

I love pottery barn. My issue is that I am rarely treated as a serious customer. I am younger and usually dress more casually and feel like I am ignored by the staff for other customers who fit the demographic they are trying to sell to

The store is good enough. Just dont order anything that needs to be made, like furniture. Ordered a chair that is already one month late (and we werent even notified, just found out when we went to check the tracking the week it was supposed to be delivered) with a current expected ship date of mid-Feb, and customer service is anything but helpful.

Mariane from Pottery Barn in Cranston is the BEST! She helped us find our dream dining room set and we love it! The ordering was easy and the delivery was impeccable. The white glove service was perfect. Thank you Mariane! We will be back for the dishes to go in our new dining room!

Purchased a custom order chaise couch that we were told by the sales agent would be delivered 6-8 weeks. We actually choose fabric that was a runner up because the one we wanted would take 12-14 weeks to ship. Received an email on week 6 that the couch was going to be delayed 5 weeks from the 8 week mark. Called PB Furniture Dept and they told use that we can not make any changes to the order..thinking it was going to take sooo much longer to ship that they could at least give us the fabric we wanted. Nope. They were nice enough to refund the shipping charges and told us to call the store directly and ask for some compensation as they should not be guaranteeing shipping dates. I called the store and spoke with the rudest sales manager who gave me the run around. Well see if anything comes of it, but we will never ever purchase furniture from Pottery Barn again. Nor visit this location.

Poor customer service and communication on charges for shipping and taxes. Quoted a completely wrong amount and obligated to pay the difference after three months of being disputed. Called the store multiple times and never received a call back. Huge inconvenience and stress to shop here - would not recommend.

I bought and paid in full more than $1000 for a piece of furniture, and was told that I would have it within 2 weeks. Not only was the piece not delivered within the 2 weeks, but I was also told by an associate that I would be called back regarding my concerns, and that was never done. The Pottery Barn doesnt need repeat buisness, so they dont care much about customer service or customer retention. They make plenty of money by grossly overcharging for their goods with customers who are either first time buyers at thier stores, or dont care about good customer service. Ill be taking my buisness elsewhere.
