I went to shots fired and the guys in their believes in safety which I love. Me and a few friends went today and had a blast. Great place to just shoot a target and vibe out and and just enjoy releasing stress and just learning to improve. It’s clean and everyone respect the next person.If you looking for a place to enjoy this is the place to do so. I don’t stay close to this place but it will be worth the drive as I got the membership and don’t mind putting it to use

The customer service here was immaculate. David Rutledge (especially him)and everyone else on staff made sure my husband and I was well taken care of. We was treated so well we signed up for the monthly membership which is much cheaper than paying for each visit. We definitely recommend this gun range. I bought a revolver a few years back from Shots Fired and no lie, this is by far the best gun shop Ive experienced. The salesman that assisted me was so knowledgeable about firearms. I was a first time buyer and he gave me a better understanding on what to look for when making a decision which gun would best suit me and I am so thankful for that experience but it was so long ago i forget his name!In addition to my purchase the offered free classes which was a major benefit. Arvo was the instructor and the information he taught I still have retained in my memory to this day. THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH AN AMAZING JOB!

Staff are not so great compared to when I first visited they seem to forget costumer service at lease that was my last experience I visited this place with my three boys with my membership then on my last visit with my neices from ourt of state came to visit me the rules have changed, I had to add them to my membership and could not take them off. I explained to this establishment they might never come back and the way I was told its a policy thing, I havent been there in months I feel them taking 35 bucks a month from me they should have extended me a little courtesy.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Great group of guys, they don’t know it all, but it sure as hell seems like it. If they don’t have it and it’s out there, they can very likely order it. I’m trying to keep it short but I really love this place, I’ve been going for about 10 years. I’ve bought, sold and traded guns with those guys, please go and give it a chance, pulled me out of depression years ago with their constant banter and great facility. They have licensed instructors at fair prices and ladies get their range fee waived on Wednesday night. GET UP AND GO.-St.John

I love this establishment. Their staff is amazing. Theyre always professional, courteous, respectful and very knowledgeable. Last week I stopped by and spoke with an associate named Luke. I told him I wanted to swap out my mag release on my pistol and he told me to come right in. Once I arrived and met Luke he did the swap for me and didnt charge me. This was an educational and fun experience. Craig and Arvon taught my coworkers and I in a womens handgun course and we left feeling more knowledgeable and empowered when it comes to using guns for self defense. I recently picked up an online dealer transfer purchase. The process was so smooth. I decided to test out my rifle on the range, I Purchased optics and a few other accessories. The staff was so extremely helpful they installed my accessories and even zeroed my scope for me. It’s always a great experience when I come to this range.

Came in today looking for a buffer retention pin, they didn’t have one in stock, but they searched around and found a lower parts kit, cannibalized it and gave me both the retention pin and spring. Absolutely stellar customer service! Ended up buying a few rounds while I was in there! (They had 9mm in stock at a reasonable price, which seems to be impossible to find without selling your first born!) anyone looking for a local gun shop with a phenomenal atmosphere, this is the place. The range is quaint but lanes open quickly. No test before you use the range. Customer service was awesome! It really encouraged me to get a monthly membership.

We made the transition from an older gun range we have used for years in order to go to Shots Fired. Best decision yet. If you have any questions at all regarding everything/anything relating fire arm care, safety, tips, tricks, and all around help then this is the place you want to to. Everyone weve talked to has been extremely friendly, and attentive to anything we needed.We needed help with our swapping of our gun sights for a Glock 26gen4, and the staff was more than happy to help with the swap. I love this place; especially Mr. Arvo, if youre ever lucky to meet him; you will understand why. I loved his vibe so much, that I purchased gun lessons for myself and my mom. He was very informative, funny, and hes so down to earth. As a woman, these classes were a MUST; and because of him, we know how to shoot an AR- 15 along with other guns. Again, this place is highly recommended, so check it out!!!!

On January 4th 2020, I attended this range and had a little issue pertaining to making a purchase. I originally put up a review on here about it and that issue was addressed on that day. Great range for ladies to shoot. Kind friendly knowledgeable staff. They are always ready to answer questions and give good advice to a new shooter like me. I enjoy the comfortable relaxed atmosphere and the bonus of ladies day on Wednesday.

The first time I came into shots fired 2 days prior to this review, it was an amazing experience they were the only place i could locate .357 sig ammo. As I were there i was also intrigued by the gun range because of the variety of guns we could choose from and was convinced to proceed with becoming a member. The customer service was great, my cousin and I had a great time. On today, April 5 it was the total opposite.I brought my family in because of the great time i had and wanted them to become members as well. Instead of the friendly welcome i got the first time i came i wasn’t greeted at all. I informed the employee that i was a member and wanted to my family to be added on to my membership as well. His response was “have you all been smoking weed”. Instantly i was shocked because i felt as if we were being racially profiled. Then he began to ask “are you the parent” I told him i wasn’t the parent but i was the legal guardian and he insisted that we needed documentation and if we had a problem with that talk to the manager he’s going to tell you the same thing.We drove 45 mins from McDonough Ga and i expressed can we email documentation they said no because of the way their system is set up electronically. Basically there was nothing we could do so i asked could i cancel my membership and he responded no we couldn’t cancel unless we pay $34.99 in which I paid the first initial time i came to set up my membership.Then he went on to make claims about me never making the first initial payment. I told him i paid cash the first time and he said he records told him different and he wasn’t there the first time so he couldn’t know if I did or not. I was totally confused on how he thinks I could gain membership without paying anything.So the manager just told him to go ahead with the cancellation.The only thing that separates this place from other gun ranges is the hours of operation which was my deal breaker for becoming a member to begin with.If you care how you’re treated as a person or a member i would seriously not recommend this gun range for you. Terrible customer service & lack of professionalism.

My favorite Gun Store and range in Georgia hands down. With multiple stores. The staff at the Washington Street location and great guy’s. Be sure to ask for Curtis and Allen . The best sales guy’s in the Store! If you visit the 138 conyers location be to ask for Will the manager . And with all the political bs going on? There prices are still fair to us the customer. Went into SHOTS FIRED yesterday morning with my Step-Son for the first time; from the time we entered the business, till the time we departed, the service was unbelievable. We were able to get in some range time with a couple of new toys...Rock River Arms AR-15 pistol, Saint Victor AR-15 Tactical pistol with B5 furniture, 2 Walther PDP (compact) pistols, FN 509 Tactical, Canik TP9 Sub-Compact Elite, Sig Sauer 365 XL, CZ SP10c, CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical, & GLOCK 19 Gen 5. We had an outstanding time!! We also signed up for the family deal to utilize the range more frequently. Not being too far from SHOTS FIRED (Lithonia), this made sense for us, & our family. You guys are great!! Thank you!!

Every time I walk into Shots Fired I’m always greeted with polite knowledgeable staff! Even though they’ve been incredibly busy lately Matt took the time to ensure I was completely informed and satisfied with my firearm purchase. I went back today to grab a holster and ammo, Mitch took the time to put my holster together and ensure it was set up properly for me. You can’t beat their customer service. When walking in the door at this place you are greeted with intelligent and very nice mannered employees. I took lessons with Craig and he is very thorough and did excellent job with me and had lots of patience. Definitely would like to point out the fact that the Manager (Matt) was very helpful and knowledgeable not only to myself but watched him with several customers. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to have a good manager and he seem to be spot on. Definitely recommend this place!!

Matt and the guys are awesome. They made our time very enjoyable. It was a nice way to spend Saturday morning with family and were able to try out guns we have been interested in and even bought a riffle from them today. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting today with my family and we had a great experience. The customer service was excellent. I see that a lot of people like going there as well, because we had a slight wait before getting to our lane but it was worth it. The membership is also a good deal as well. I came in this evening with my mom and two sisters. Mitchell, one of the employees is very helpful and knowledgeable. He didn’t get aggravated at all with all of our questions, in fact it seemed he enjoyed them. The guns they carry are reasonably priced. One of my sisters purchased one and the process didn’t take long at all. The family membership is also reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. Soon.

Really do like the place. However pricing on used guns needs to improve. You cant sell a worn out used 10 year old gun for the same price as a new one. I would recommend Johns pawn shop or emergency pawn when buying guns as they do not try and rip you off.

Me and my fiancé took a training class given by Craig!! He was is such and awesome guy and a magnificent trainer. I would advise everyone who hasn’t had training to consider it! Recently I had a one on one training session with certified firearms instructor Arvo Bowen. The experience was amazing. He offered clear verbal directions on what I was to do per skill and provided the rationale for each point given. If what I was doing needed redirection, then he offered assistance. After instruction and simulation training in the classroom, we went to the range, where I put into practice what I had learned. I left the session with beneficial new skills and confidence in proper handling and firing of a semi-automatic, and I left Shots Fired with a new semi-automatic that Arvo supported as a good one for me.

Great experience at Shots Fired. Friendly staff and a nice/clean range area. Overheard one of the instructors giving a class and he was super professional and helpful. If a new shooter, check them out. Also, I was personally looking for a new holster and the team member not only helped, but went the extra mile of allowing me to try on his (Kydex) holster to check for the fit of a Blackpoint...with using his weapon as the example!!! That’s going above and beyond to assist a client! Great place and will return when in the area.

My sister scheduled me with instructor Arvo for my birthday and we went yesterday. He was fabulous. He explained the safety of firearms, how to use the firearm which includes how to hold the firearm, the correct way to shoot the firearm, and the technical terms and the safety of firearms. I felt that my safety was his priority. I didn’t feel rushed, he took his time with me since this was my first experience with a firearm. I left him feeling comfortable protecting myself. He is the real deal.

I took a firearms class on Wednesday July 8, 2020 from instructor Mr. Arvo Bowen. He was awesome in teaching me how to handle a deadly weapon correctly. He gave me the confidence to be smart in handling the weapon. Upon leaving this class I am very confident and happy that I took the class. I would recommend that everyone take a firearm class at Shots Fired in Covington Georgia. He’s the best, and so is his other instructor partner from my observation before my class started 😊

By far the best customer service I have ever recieved in a gun shop. Matt is the most knowledgeable and well rounded individual in the business. Some of the finest young men you would ever want to meet work at Shots Fired. I want to give a special shout out to Craig Treadwell who is teaching me how to use and shoot a gun. He is a retired policeman, which is a very impressive but a very tough job. He is very thorough in everything he says and does to make sure that when I finish my training, I will know exactly what to do if the need arises.He also makes it a lot of fun with his kind and gentle way of teaching.Such a fine young man.

Never shot a gun in my life until today. My dad and I took a class with Craig who took his time and thoroughly explained everything then showed us how to handle the gun before having us try ourselves. We both had a great time and will be back for more classes.

Im not sure if Im the only one who still thinks covid is around the only black guy that I have ever seen working there touched everyones personal weapon did not have on gloves or a mask and when i asked what was he doing he never answered me then after that i was told not to use bird shot i said ok and he tired to continue with the conversation. Me and my family have been members for a while we stopped going for a couple of months because I work 7 days a week now but i was unaware about the bird shoot thing but now I know. The cross contamination is not acceptable.

The staff was super nice and the range was well kept. I recently had surgery on my wrist and this was my first time back in the range since. After a couple hundred rounds, my wrist was THROBBING. Luckily I was given what I needed with a smile and was able to stay and teach my family a few new things. This visit was my family’s first time in a range and it’s safe to say they thoroughly enjoyed it! My fiancé and I LOVED this place and I will definitely be back!

Additionally, the range is nice, clean, and fairly priced. I enjoyed my time there and despite the no rapid fire rule, they dont mind double taps for qualifying style range exercises.
