This gentleman at one time was probably a great gunsmith. No longer. He has VERY poor eyesight and health. The last time I was in his shop I had to catch him from falling backwards. The shop is complete disaster area. I have witnessed him scarring turret caps on a scope with slip joint pliers. He screwed up 3 custom rifles for me, with no apology, no offer to remedy the situation. Sloppy work, shady business practices, and nothing but poor excuses for poor work.

A true professional and craftsman. Quick turn around and amazing attention to detail. Could not be happier with his work.

Called Mike at 2:00 on a Friday. It was a long shot but I wanted to get a pinned and welded muzzle device changed out before a trip to the range the next day. I was told it would take the afternoon and be ready for pickup Saturday morning. After checking out the job, Mike set to work immediately. I didn’t expect him to drop what he was working on but he knocked it out in two hours while we sat and talked about life, guns, and machining. He charged me 1/3 what the big machine shops quoted me and I got same day service. It was a delight to chew the fat with such a wise man. He’s a true professional and his customer service is top notch.

There is no one more skilled than Mike at what he does. He has a well deserved reputation as the best. He has done several jobs for me and I have always been more than satisfied. A true old world craftsman.

Release for the magazine door on my Model 70 was stuck. I got it back with the trigger guard scratched and the release immediately jammed again. It wasnt cleaned or oiled.

A friend went to this place and he lost his gun. Dont trust this guy with your weapons
