Im a vegan and went in to find something to eat. I was strolling around the store like a lost puppy. Charlotte saw me and offered to make a vegan sandwich. It was amazing--fresh produce, great bread and local horseradish. She pointed out a few other vegan items in their staples as well, e.g. Louisville Vegan Jerky. Great experience and diet friendly.

The cut lunch was horrible 5 slices for 2.00the bacon was crumbled the servic is ok but products was not

A visit to Chops, Cheese and Chives is like stepping out of the way-back machine to a simpler time. Escape the madness of the big box grocer and spend some time browsing the shelves for fresh produce and pantry staples. Visit the deli/butcher counter and order your favorite cold cuts, cheeses, and freshly butchered meats. Grab a loaf of 16 Bricks bread and a jar of locally produced mustard, pickles or relishes. Its not uncommon for me to walk in having no idea what I want for dinner. But I leave with everything I need to prepare a fine quality meal with fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. Give this place a look. You might just see me there.

My husband and I have bought packages from them a few times. Was ALWAYS PLEASED AND SATISFIED!!! Last night we went in to get some good T-bone steak. the women had thrown out the meat sitting next to the T-bones we bought but we had got home we got them out to prep for cooking an they smelled like complete fish with a sticky feeling!! I had my husband throw them out. Im very mad paying the money we paid for 4 T-bones and to get home an they are no good.

Stopped in to purchase eggs from Pine Hill Farm, which are delicious and will ruin you for all other eggs. Was able to pick up a variety of other items that were sold out at Kroger. This is a convenient, clean, community grocery store--delighted to give them my business.

Went in today to purchase a meat package, cheese and honey ham. The lady was so sweet. I brought my son Gabriel with me, hes autistic and non verbal, he started screaming and had a bad meltdown. The lady rung us up quickly and was so calm and spoke to me, which calmed me down. Weve been to other stores and sometimes the staff are not so nice when my son has a meltdown. I recommend this store, the customer service is outstanding and the ham and cheese was delicious.

I used to work next door, and stopped in for the occasional grocery often. Its great! Good meats at the deli area.

I go here for snacks and drinks during the day. Their cashiers are always INCREDIBLY friendly and they have a great selection! Their sandwiches are great and the best deal in the neighborhood.

Great little grocery store with deli/homemade soup as well as a basic selection of grocery items and eclectic selection of local beverages/kombucha! Friendly service.

Economy Meats has a new name, Chops, Cheese, & Chives, and healthy new merchandise including a kombucha bar. They carry fresh farm eggs and still have a good selection of meat.

We go for one specific item and the girls are always so nice and helpful.

I love this shop and the owner was friendly and helpful. I bought several loose teas and a load of snacks. I was traveling thru and staying nearby. If I lived in Covington I’d go there several times a week for all my shopping needs. I have a friend coming to visit and she is going there to stock up on some hard to find things that they have to bring to me.

Terrible. Recently purchased the number 5 meat package for $220.00 and was an absolute waste of money. The pork chops were rotten, the round steaks were rotten, and I mean litterly rotten and had to be thrown away. Thawed out chicken to fry and discovered that it was bad and we threw it in the trash. Never again will I purchase anything from this place. Made a complaint to the Health Department and to the Better Business Bureau.

This place is nothing like it was when the last owners had it, the prices are too high, no more bulk meat their freezers are disgusting, some of that meat what black looking and everything was just piled up its gross. I dont know how their still in buisness . I use to go there alot but not since new owners took over.

Unique items I have not seen elsewhere I the area, including several varieties and brands of kombucha and organic sodas, e.g. butterscotch and ginger.

Havent been there yet because the website is jacked up and just wants to go to the basket selection of vegetables with a banner at the top that says orders cant be take at this time 🙈🙈🙈
