I walked in to look around. The team leader welcomed me in and told me they highly reccomend masks. I asked if one was necessary to enter. He said, no, its highly recommended though. I informed him that Ive had my 2 shots plus the booster. He then told me, thats why they highly recommend it. Ok, Im all for masks. I would have had no problem wearing one.. if its not required to enter the store.. recommend and move on. 3 times is a bit pushy and he has every right to stay 6 feet away and not serve me.

Stopped here to pick up the new Madden game. Was approached by a store associate named Brandon. Didnt even greet us but instead he had a box of masks in his hand and he said we are asking all of our customers to wear masks keep in mind that the sign on the door says we strongly recommend wearing a mask yet this guy approaches us with a box and says what he did. I informed him that in Iowa its against the governors mandate to require a mask unless its a medical facility. And he said we are requiring it. Well when you approach my family with a box of masks and say we are asking all of our customers to wear masks ya you are requiring it..we promptly left. For a company that was on the verge of bankruptcy I found todays experience comical. Ill go buy the game somewhere else.

Carlos the store leader has absolutely no idea what he is doing. Decided to hit my controller on the counter and then tell me it was false tested. Do NOT use gamestop in council bluffs. It always seems to be a problem with Carlos.

Store is somewhat nice, staff seems knowledgeable when I have been there in the past. That being said, the current problem I have is I bought and extended warranty and a refurbished retro game console (a PS3 from my man cave). Had issues with it not reading game discs and the motor not even working to power the disc. When I took it back, again under warranty, all I really got was the the company is completely out of that game console, and I got received a toll free number to call and I guess get instructions to send it in for servicing. The associate I spoke to did not even sound confident they could fix it. Haha.... Not even an offer for store credit as a way to make up for this nonsense. Guess I will have to find a repair shop locally. This place will definitely be out of business within a year of two, which is unfortunate.

A really nice atmosphere, Ive never felt more comfortable in a retail store before. I had a nice conversation with another customer about game stuff and bought the resident evil 2 and 3 remakes. 10/10 :)

I would give them no stars if I could. Went into the store to try to sell some of my deceased sons gaming equipment and games. The man working was very rude and basically told us he wasn’t interested in anything we had, without even looking at it. I will never go into this store again and would not be surprised if it gets closed down as they suck.

This place has something for everyone young or older! Great game selections, toys, clothing & misc novelty items! Low prices everyday as well as the awesome sales they are constantly having! The staff is awesome & knowledgeable of their inventory!

This store is so bad, you are better off going to Bellevue if you are close to this one. The staff is vary lazy they will sell you a disc scratched to all hell.

Friendly service and knowledgeable employees on anything gaming. Nice pricing for games and as well as merchandise from most if not all gaming materials and platforms. I sold my n64 recently and only got 20 something but the lady was very kind and professional.

Limiting customer capacity to 10, but dont care when theres a line up and a family of 4 wanting to shop, instead lets single customers come in so then the family has to wait until theres only 6 customers inside and no one else in line.

Honestly, its a good store. Good games for good prices. The only problem for me is that, as a young adult woman with anxiety who still plays animal crossing and style savvy on the ds, Im terrified to step into Game Stop for fear that any super gamer at all will watch me buying Poptropica Adventures and mentally chastise me for being such a stereotypical girl gamer who cant handle big boy games like final fantasy, which I had to stare at for 15 minutes to even build up the courage to walk to the counter and quietly ask for my baby game.But good store, good games, Ill probably just buy my next game on their online store instead. 😒

I enjoy going to browse collectibles, everything is always very well organized and the staff is always friendly!

Mostly good customer service. There have been a couple of occasions where a specific employee treated me like garbage but most of them are good. The location has a pretty good selection in a pretty decent sized store. The biggest problem is the parking is always full since it is in a smallish strip mall.

Awesome!!!! Every time my son and i go we always have a great experience. Kyle is good with customer service and goes above and beyond the expectations. Since i moved from Cali this has been our comfort zone and not once has he or the manager Matt failed us. They are both great. You guys are a good team and know what it is to give the best customer service!!!!

I love video games and a place to purchase a game is just as important as the game itself, and gamestop does just as well as all the others, the employees themselves know what they arr doing when they talk games, most likely because they too actually play the games

Buy your games anywhere else. The staff here has zero knowledge. The one guy thats always behind the counter is a complete moron and shouldnt be left alone when he doesnt know how to do his job. Tried to get a manager and was told the manager quit. Never going back. Plenty of other places to get the same thing usually cheaper.

Every time I go there its quick and easy. The gentleman with the beard cracks me up and is very helpful. Never had an issue here. They can get busy so plan a little extra time when going there. Gun friendly business.

Preordered Pokémon and the cashier emilee failed to ask if I was picking up the game at the 11/14 night release.As a result I didn’t know to tell her I was which meant I didn’t get the sticker necessary for a ‘group’ so I had to wait with all the people who didn’t pay for it up front at preorder or who didn’t even preorder at all.

This is being generous. The guy working was not only rude but disrespectful and beyond unprofessional. Not impressed at all.

Loved going here since I was little, I take my 8 year old here now and he lights up like a Christmas tree when we go in. Staff is super cool, friendly and they know about games. I hope the xbox and playstation stores dont make places like this extinct.
