We visit Cottonwood every fall, over the last 15 years. Never had any automotive problems in the past, however, this trip coming off the 17 onto 260 into Cottonwood we lost coolant and needed to be towed to a shop for repairs. Found R&T Repair on the web, had good reviews so contacted the kind rep who said we could have our RV parked across the street and took a look at our truck the next morning. Fortunately, the coolant loss was not to serious and the helpful and professional service for a reasonable price got us back on the road that afternoon. R & T Repair, Inc. is an amazing place to get your auto repaired. I was so impressed at how quickly they were able to accommodate my needs. I had been to a couple other places in Cottonwood and had pretty good service. But nothing like this! They treat you like family from the time you walk in the door. As a single woman, R & T Repair has given me complete confidence they will take care of my car, repair what actually needs repaired, and not try to upsell me on anything my car doesnt need. Now a few words about Brittany. She is one of the staff member who mostly answers the phone and is often at the front desk when you arrive. Heres a tip. My truck wouldn’t start and R & T was recommended to me by someone that worked at Big O. Family owned, very friendly, reasonable prices, and they seem thorough and knowledgeable. We liked them so much, my boyfriend decided to have them service the ac in his truck. They did a great job....ac works much better now! (And the icing on the cake is that you can also buy free range eggs from their backyard chickens). We will definitely go back to them for any truck or car problems!

Since I moved here almost ten years ago it has been hard to find a good honest mechanic in this valley. I dont have to look any further because I finally found one at R&T Repair. This is a family owned shop with integrity and believe in taking care of people and local law enforcement. I took my truck in a couple of weeks ago because some rats had gotten into the engine and chewed up some wires. They fixed it and gave me an oil change at a reasonable price. I brought our boat trailer in to get a new break system put on, electric over hydraulic replacing a surge break system. I just have to say it was the best installation Ive ever seen! Done in a professional timely manner, I will definitely be bringing my vehicles there again.

I had my 1978 VW bus alternator replaced by them. Great job.They pushed a bearing in my ford wheel hub excellent work again.

Very happy with their service! I developed a rear pinion seal leak on my Duramax while towing a trailer through Arizona. They were able to get me in quickly and do not only the seal but some other routine maintenance that I needed to get done. I wish this shop was near my regular home back in TX!

I have always trusted the work I get done at R&T Repair. I have been taking my vehicles there for 15 years. They have the right tools and expertise to competently and correctly diagnose, fix, and maintain vehicles and I am always impressed with how thorough they have been with my vehicles. Waking up to an oil leak under my 2004 GMC Duramax diesel is not the best way to start your day. Being new to Cottonwood, AZ and not having had to use a mechanic I sought out recommendations and came up with R&T repairs. Nothing makes me more anxious than having to deal with mechanics because you are always confronted with the obvious, can I trust them? Well...I can honestly say yes. Yes, I can trust them. The mechanic/soon to be owner determined the source. His methods are straightforward without a bunch high pressure up sell which is just what I was looking for.R&T is the proverbial family run business in a small town that has been in operation for 27 years. They have to be doing something right you would think...and you would be right. Took my 2016 turbocharged mustang. They did a great job replacing my engine. They are awesome. If you want to get the job done right go to R&T repair. They dont fix anything that isnt broken. Check out for yourself!

AMAZING. Love the family there. They are great friendly people. Needed some bushings pressed 10 mins before closing and they were able to jump right on it and get it done in 10 mins, they also helped me with Chevy blazer and the 4x4 in it. To little to no cost they had my 4 wheel drive back up and going. Saved me a few hundred $$$ compared to other places.This family will always have my business. I am a Machinic myself but when I get stumped these are the people I trust!!! Thanks you guys for being such great people!!!

Took my van in to have it serviced for a damaged radiator. $1,500 later they claimed it was good to go and even put in a new battery (which has completely died a month later). A few weeks later, the engine died and blew a head gasket caused by overheating due to a lack of fluid getting to the engine. The culprit according another mechanic, was they used too large of a radiator thermostat. R&T refused to do the right thing and instead charged me another $75 for their inspection after the fact. (They also claimed they never swapped out the thermostat when they replaced the radiator.) I personally do not feel like hes a good mechanic and that after spending that much money there shouldnt have been the continued issues with the van there were. Update: He is now calling me and threatening to sue me over this review. But I stand behind it.

They were sent by God to help us. We had a blow out and at that time it pulled the hydrolic lines which created quite a leak. We got 4 new tires and that shop tried to help but were unable. We got to R & T at 4:20. They accomadated us and fixed our leak and saved the dolly leg.(which would have been $500 plus to replace) I cannot thank them enough for their help. They could have said they were to busy or it was to close to closing but instead said back it up and fixed it. Quickly and efficiently. Cannot say enough about this company all of them were great. Very polite and helpful!! Will definitely tell other RVs along our travels about this wonderful company. We will also have future repairs to truck or rv as needed.

My son took his truck to R&T for an estimate on replacing a motor mount. They charged him $50 for the estimate. I dont think that is good business. Their quote was $ 200 over what he was quoted in Prescott Valley. Guess where he took it. I dont recommend R&T to anyone. They treated him very unprofessional.
