I came to buy resistors they make for my BMW Urban GS. While there they fixed my warning engine warning light that was flashing (it got wet). They found the reason and not charged for new sensors like the big dealerships. Honest and professional guys. For sure they are now the shop I use for all my bikes

I was selling my very first motorcycle, a Yamaha V-Star250, to someone who is just taking up motorcycle riding. I wanted the bike to be perfect for the new owner, so I did a little checking around and all arrows seemed to point to Riders Revelation. I brought the bike on the date scheduled and it was delivered on the day promised...how refreshing. Anyway, the work was perfect, and the new owner couldnt be happier with his bike. I have passed on the recommendation for Riders Revelation to the new owner as well.

5*****STARS ALL THE WAY!!!My Busa has been in storage for almost a year, and it needed a tune, fluid exchanges and a new rear tire . My nephew recommended Jimmy & the Gang at Riders Revelation.Jimmy picked up my bike and had it done on schedule. The bike has just over 70,000 miles on it, and it is running better now than it ever has. What a difference, and what a joy to have it back.Because I hadnt ridden it for over a year, I was keeping it on a battery tender, and forgot that the battery had been giving me problems before I put it into storage. The bike was starting great, until I went to the gas station. In a newbie error, I left the lights on and it wouldnt start ... I called Jimmy, even though it was after hours, and he brought me a new battery. We got it installed, and I was on the road again.Talk about GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, and youre talking about Jimmy and the crew at Riders Revelation !!!

I believe the service work they do is good, however the customer service definitely needs to improve. Very hard to get ahold of this company via the phone so its usually just by text and its not too good at that.

Im an everyday rider (180 mile commute to San Diego from Costa Mesa everyday) and after riding for so long (years), you know how to fix certain things, but theres those things that you know are just WRONG and impossible to fix by yourself. I bought my current bike after I was side swiped by a car not paying attention in SD, and I felt something was wrong after about a month or so of purchase. I had some issues with jerking and struggling to accelerate once in awhile, progressively becoming worse as time went on. I actually found Jimmy and his crew after my back brake ripped out from an improper back tire change and banged up the swing arm and rotors (whole other story from another shop). After that was fixed with perfect customer service, I decided to bring in the bike for the jerking. After a week of sleuthing, the guys discovered it was the fuel pump and line with heavy corrosion, kinking, ripped wires, and general abuse from the previous owner. He fixed it with an understandable price and actually transformed the bike into the beast that it was supposed to drive like. Thanks again guys, you deserve your loyal customers (including myself)!

Im not one to write reviews but after the excellent service Jimmy and his crew provided, I felt obliged to share my experience. RR was the only shop that was willing to take a look at my 95 Honda RVF400. Jimmy personally picked up and delivered my bike to/from my home.Jimmy was completely transparent with everything that was being worked on, even sending pictures and updates of the progress being made.When I first bought the bike, it always had trouble starting, but after taking it to RR its the complete opposite. The bike starts up immediately and I couldnt be happier. They were also able to fix the broken left and right switches and whole bunch of other work the bike desperately needed.I took it out for a ride today and the difference is night and day.I highly recommend Jimmy and RR, and will be calling them for all my motorcycle needs.

Jimmy and his team took my 1979 Kawasaki 1000 Ltd and did surgery on my Transmision and carbs bringing it back to full strength. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated there professionalism on what was wrong and the right solutions to bring it back. Best repair shop I know that works on new and old. Jimmy the owner did a a fantastic job in synchronizing my Yamaha FZ07 to the new aftermarket pipe, he also had to resolve a very complicated overheating problem, and due to his effort, tenacity and creativity, he figured it out, and obtained a part that was impossible to get. I have a drz400sm. She broke down, and I found out I had a bunch of problems with her (rectifier, wiring, electrical, lighting, etc.). Guys at th shop brought her back to life and now she runs beautifully. Great guys, great job, great shop - highly recommend.

5+ stars!Well after writing my 2.5 star review I was contacted by the owner Jimmy of RR. I told him how I felt and I listened to him explain his side of the story and how he passionately tries to satisfies all of his customers. He generously offered to fix my bike and earn back my business at his own expense. He personally picked up my bike and spent 2 weeks fixing all my issues and making sure my bike was perfect. All the while he was keeping me updated with text and pictures and when it was finished he personally delivered my bike back to my house.I was throughly impressed by the level of professionalism and personal service Jimmy gave me. Even after I initially gave him a bad review he really went out of his way and way beyond anything I would have ever expected to make me happy. This is the kind of level of service I expected the first time around and now I understand why this place has such high reviews.It can be hard to find a good trust worthy bike shop in OC. For someone new to riding like myself its very important to find a shop that has professional and personal service as well as high quality work. I found all those things and more at RR.When you own a business things dont always work out with all your customers but the mark of a great business owner is when you take the time to correct a mistake and make things right. I used to go into Mach 1 Motorcycles until they messed something up on my bike. The only reason I went in after that was to order parts from Jimmy Summers because I could tell he actually cared about me and didnt blow me off every time I went in there like everywhere else. Any way once I did some research online I found out he finally went off and opened his own shop right down the street. I tell you what this is the best thing he ever did, I have never had such good service in my life, not to mention the place is the nicest motorcycle shop Ive ever seen! Its like a Spa treatment for you and your bike!!

First time getting my bike serviced here and had a great experience. I have a 2010 Ninja that needed the break light adjusted as well as some routine maintenance done. I called the shop before business hours expecting to leave a voicemail..to my surprise I spoke with Jimmy and he let me drop off my bike before they even opened. As promised, it was ready to pick up a few hours later. Not only did they complete all the maintenance needed, but the guys also cleaned my bike up from head to toe..it hasnt looked this good since I bought it! Jimmy is a very nice and knowledgable guy, definitely competent in his field, and I will be sure to visit Riders Revelation again!

YES, I recommend this shop. I got my cbr 600 F4I regulator replaced and upgraded the headlights to HID. They also did some alignments. My motorcycle drives like new now. Thank you Riders Revelation

Came here to get my oil changed and the stator worked on. Jim and the staff are very knowledgeable. Will definitely be bringing my bike back here. And who can complain when their waiting room has a massage chair. A+++

This shop is great. I went in without an appointment and got my suspension tuned. They had me put on my gear and sit on the bike to get it dialed in to my weight. I noticed a huge difference as soon as I left the shop. They even broke loose a rusted bar end for me for no charge.These guys know what theyre doing, and you can sit in a massage chair and play ps3 while they work on your bike. Highly recommend.

These guys are good, I took my 08 r1 for full service and a valve job. After about a month of smashing around, shes still almost as tight and peppy as when I got her. Next up, my 06 yz450f

I think Riders Revelation is the most reasonable Motorcycle Shop in the Newport Beach area . I got my bike fairing completely replaced including other small fixes for more than 30 % less than all other shops in the area. They also did some fixes for free without including them on the bill.Thank you Guys, Thank you Jim.

This is your one stop shop for all things Moto! Needed a rear tire replaced ASAP...did it same day! Took my 2014 Yamaha in for periodic service and I swear it runs better than when I drove it off the dealers lot. These guys are so friendly that it I feels like Im leaving my bike with family. Jimmy is a chill dude who was able to get my sv650 back on the road after a minor lay down. He was more that reasonable and argued with the insurance adjuster when the tried to skimp on cost. Plain and simple, honest mechanics at a fair price. Its a rarity but here they are lol

The new shop is great, 4 service bays, knowledgeable and track experienced techs, customer lounge with big screen tv and PS3, great prices on the parts you need and prompt service. A great shop for serious riders, run by serious riders.

Ive had my bike with Jimmy and his team three times now. One time it was after wiping out on the 405. He picked up the bike in his van and not only revived it, but improved the bike with a new, better smartphone mount, USB charger, new rubber and got rid of an annoying vibration buzz. Great work at a reasonable cost.

This is a complete crew that takes pride in their work!I was referred to RR by a friend who rides a ZX10R. I was doing some upgrades on my new 2013 ZX6R and after 2,500 miles of break in I am ready to make some fine tuning adjustments and ride it a bit harder.The entire crew took the time to meet with me and discuss the pros and cons of various power commanders, quick shifters and other components. This all was tied into helping me improve my riding. It is one thing to get great service and great work, which they clearly do. Its an entirely different level when a business collaboratively takes the time to understand what you want and what might suit you best. You can only do so much research on the internet. These guys all have a great deal of experience in what works well and what might not work so well.You will see a few cruisers, some pro level riders and maybe a few like me that simply love riding and the feel of a well-engineered super sport bike. There are a few shops I liked thus far but have to say that Riders Revelation is a big step up in service. Whatever you ride or want to ride, I recommend making an appointment so you can skip the marketing and find a place you can trust.

I actually bought my 600rr here a few weeks ago. I bought it from Jimmy, the president of the company, who offered the bike to me with a small warranty.Last week, my clutch started acting up. I called up Jimmy, and asked if it would be covered by his warranty. He said that Clutch is usually is a wear and tear item and is usually not covered, but he would give me a good price for the repair, which they did!The guy who replaced my clutch and adjusted it to factory settings was actually the chief operating officer, Derek. He was very professional and answered all my questions about clutches. Great guy, great shop, great prices. I would not go to anybody else. Bought a craigslist special 2009 gsxr that had not been maintained properly. He tuned it up, found me and added an exghaust as requested, fixed the cage it came with, and by the end of it it felt like a completely different bike, smooth all over. He even cleaned it for me. I had zero issues for as long as i had the bike (14 months until it got totalled). I just recently got a new bike, will be seeing him again soon.

This place is legit. Last month I needed just a tire change. I ride a Triumph and Im not too keen on the Triumph dealership out here. I called around to price out a tire and find a place to work on it. CycleGear had a tire for me, but Mission motorsports wouldnt do it because they only work on brands they sell. RR was charging the same price for the tire and would work on it right away. 2 hours later I have a very thorough back from their massage chair, my rear wheel was the cleanest Ive ever seen it, and I got to play with their pup for a bit. This place is legit. They go out of their way to accommodate and it shows. I hope they take off. They definitely have the know-how. I didnt think that either Triumph or adventure bikes were all that popular around here, so I didnt figure they would be super knowledgeable about them. I was pleasantly surprised, learned about a few new places to ride, talked about common problems on the that bike and things theyd seen. Definitely recommend RR to anyone looking to get something done.

Ive recently been to Riders Revelation and Ive enjoyed my experience there. I called ahead of time before I came in to discuss about pricing and Jimmy gave me the costs of my services, right over phone, including parts and labor. When I did get a chance to come in, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Jimmy and was eventually greeted by everyone else. Jimmys shop is very clean and well organized, which is a very rare to find in shops now a days. Riders Revelation also has the best and most recent tools and technologies to offer. Jimmys prices are amazing for the services he does and the prices he pays for extra parts. Jimmy and his team will do everything it takes to help you and your bike out, as they are riders themselves and dont work to rip you off. My ZX6R was worked on by Jason, he did an amazing job on my bike after the 15k Major Maintenance. What I found was unique to me was that Jimmy and Jason went out of their way to fix some minor stuff that my bike had. Jimmy replaced my warn out radiator cap, checked my brakes, repainted my stator cover, repainted my scuffed up lower fairings, touched up some nicks on the fairings for free! They also offer insurance repairs, which is a plus because motorcycles that have been into accidents whether Id be small or big dont fare so well. I have another ZX6R at home and Im looking forward to bringing that to Riders Revelation soon. I think Riders Revelation is O.C.s best motorcycle repair and service shop because they have the best and most recent tools to offer, their facility is very clean and well organized, and best of all Jimmy and his team have lots of experience and would go out of their way to help you and the bike out. Jimmys a great guy but I have to be honest, Its been months since my service and I still have unresolved issues. I had a 12K mile service performed on an 05 R1200RT. The bike is new to me and came with a top box that needed rekeyed to match the ignition set. I asked if he could do a rekey and emphasized UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO DISASSEMBLE THE BOX. Well he did attempt to disassemble the box, without success, and now I have a $900 top box that is very difficult to open and close, and still needs a different key. I gave him an opportunity to replace the box which still hasnt happened.

I can not reccomend Riders Revelation enough. They have it all! Professional experience from start to finish, fantastic value (searched high and low and they have the best prices in town!) and absolutely amazing customer service. From the moment I walked in I knew I had a forever home which will take care of all my motorcycle needs. Jimmy and his staff took so much extra time to explain everything in detail on all the services being performed on my motorcycle. They gave me a killer deal and even stayed after hours just to accomidate my scheduling needs.Seriously, save your time searching and give Riders Revelation a try, you will not be dissapointed.

I brought my S1000RR in for some minor repairs, called last minute to drop it off on Friday and hoping to use it for the weekend, Jimmy got right on it. He really knows his stuff, truly care for his customers and very competitive pricing.

I have been going to Jimmy for anything motorcycle related since 2008, and I just wouldnt take my bike anywhere else for motorcycle service or motorcycle repair. He has been an amazing resource for information on motorcycles, tires, parts, maintenance, or just as a sounding board for ideas. I have always been the type to research and compare pricing thoroughly before pulling the trigger, and Ive always found Jim to be fair, and up-front on pricing. In my opinion being confident in your machine is second to none; this is why Ive always appreciated the great attention to detail and quality in which his shop offers. I have gone to Jimmy for anything from a quick oil change to full race prep including: Race Plastic install, Brembo Master, Brake Bleed, Exhaust System install, Full Dyno tune w/ PC, Tire Installation, Full Engine Teardown, and the list goes on. And a primary reason for my dealing with Jimmy exclusively is his ability to deliver, turning around jobs in the time frame promised every time. If youre looking for a good motorcycle shop, id give him a visit!

So boyfriends stator for his Gsxr decides to give the final kaput in the middle of the streets of Newport. Thankfully we were at a stoplight and pulled into the Triangle Square parking structure. Whilst waiting on the curb for our friend to pick us up a stranger came up to us and handed us a business car stating that Rider Revelations was a bike place that specialized in Gsxrs and left. I of course stare at it skeptically, but considering our situation we didnt have much choice, I gave them a call. After several minutes of chatting with whom I believe was Jim, we went down to check out a stator he had in hand.We came down and checked out the OEM stator, it was good and was negotiating the price. At the end, I was surprised he was willing to let it go for just $80.00! They definitely hooked us up and he gave us a free gasket too. They were so generous, friendly and overall very professional. Their knowledge and generosity really impressed us. Our friend also walked away with almost a brand new M4 exhaust for cheap. Both Aaron and Jim that we met were highly skilled riders that knew what they were doing and saying. This place is worth another trip if we ever have another problem. :) Thank you, Riders Revelation for giving us such a great affordable price and saving us the waiting/looking time!They also have this adorable gray pitbull that walks around the shop... She is also super friendly. :D

When I stayed riding I took my bike to del amo in Redondo beach, needless to say it was terrible. I found Riders Revelation because it was the only shop in the area that recieved good reviews. The staff there is phenominal, being a fairly new rider I always have lots of questions and Jimmy always gives me no bullshit honest answers, even when it makes me spend less money. They are always courteous, punctual, and keep me up to date on what is going on with my GSXR-750. I cant recommend Riders Revelation enough, all my buddies are starting to go there as well.
