Love bringing my bikes here, owner and the other mechanics are experienced riders and have been working on bikes for years! Very knowledgeable, upfront and very straightforward with you! There not only to repair or service your bike, but also to help you understand the bike/job you there for better so that worst/best case scenario in the future you can do it yourself if you wanted! Great shop!

I took my bike in for repairs and the motorcycle needed more than expected. I meet with Joe, which he is very knowledgeable of what is needed for the customer and the best turn around for you to be back on the road. If you need repairs on a foreign or domestic motorcycle, try this shop. Its small but the crew is good and experienced.

Great shop. Ive been doing business with them for years. I love that they do a quality control check on any fasteners that were removed/reinstalled during the service, and then do a quick test ride to ensure the bike is safe and ready for delivery.

Very understanding and helpful. I needed help figuring out how to get to the rear master cylinder. They showed me how without pressure to have them do the work or charging for their time. I did have them change a tire and clean the wheels bead. It was a fair price.

Make sure you ask for pricing upfront, and then make sure you remind them about that once you get there. They doubled the price after I got there, it looks like they have dropped the ball in the past year or so.I used to tune up my motorcycles for the past 5 years with them, but now I have found a better, honest and easy to deal shop.

These guys are awesome! Blew a tire on the freeway at 5 pm on a Saturday. Limped it in and in 30 minutes back on the road. Super helpful! Price was better than fair. Go check it out for yourself, you wont be sorry. I will now drive 90 miles from my home to use these guys. Yes I was very impressed.

The owner is very cooperative, although I called him many times because Google stated their status as open, they never answered so I left a question on his shop and he readily replied and told that they were closed for holidays, they were very helpful for giving me spare numbers to contact him and provide a good customer service.

Best motorcycle repair in Orange County - PERIOD! Fast, honest, reliable, and I have never had to bring my bike back on any work they have ever done. They have always gotten it right the first time. I have taken my sport touring Yamaha FJR there, my brothers Hayabusa, and now my bagger-cruiser. They do great work on any kind of bike. If I had to take my bike anywhere else for service, I would probably not even own a bike.

I Recomend you go here. Ask for long, he is the owner and will do his best to be at your service and to fix whatever problem you are having with your bike if it is something he or his team can do. They have helped me greatly and I owe them so much I am buying them all lunch soon in greatfullness of what a great job they have all done as I am a college student. I would recommend talking to Sam, bill, or even Richard! They all are knowledgeable about bikes and you could learn a thing or two from them. This is why I recommend Mach 1 to many of my friends and hope they stay in business, these guys are simply awesome!

Tune ups are pretty standard. Theyre good with that. Printing up front is what you pay. But be advised, if they are repairing anything major, ask them what else could go wrong. I had my forks seals changed and somehow they continued to leak afterwards and they told me that it was rust on the forks. Had I known that, I would have probably replaced the forks too.

Do NOT bring a Buell to Mach1! They do not have the tools or knowledge to even change a back tire. They wanted to remove one time use hardware and re-use it. Apparently, they do it all the time, according to the owner. First off the tech didnt loosen the pinch bolts before he took an impact wrench to the rear axle. Then he could not get the tire off the wheel and wanted to remove the pulley. I told him that you have to replace the hardware if you remove it and he said it would be fine and they would line it up by eye. Really by eye? Also I gave the tech all the relevant torque specs. He used that impact wrench again. I will never bring a bike here again!

Brought in my Honda CM400 with a leak, Mach 1 asked me what my max price was before they would need to call me to do more work. I said $500 and sure enough I got a call saying it was going to go over. $700 later, I still have a leak. Took the bike to another mechanic and the leak as well as other issues not fixed by Mach 1 were fixed for $300. Feeling very ripped off by these guys.

This shop used to be busy because they had knowledgeable mechanics. Its no longer as busy as it used to be, and I see why. Lately, theyre been nothing but hacks to me. Last time, they put the front tire on backwards on my sports bike. The owner, Long, apologized and said hed take of me next time. He knew i was a regular for years. This time i went in for an insurance estimate and they DRILLED the frame trying to get a bolt out. Automatically, that meant the frame needed to be replaced (any famage to a motorcycle frame in California makes it so). I only asked for an estimate, and i got a ton of damage. Worst oart? He apologized but still billed me for storage and estimate. Unbelievable.

Have had more than one bad experience at this shop.Took my first bike there to get a new chain installed and they misplaced the spacer and rigged one on my bike from another bike. They paid for the part after an argument. Secondly i sent my dirtbike there to get the brakes bledWhen I got the bike back they had installed new brake pads but failed to check if the brakes worked. Drove to Gorman to find out I have no rear brakes do to the brake line having a hole in it. Third took my buddies new ktm to them to have the carb cleaned and a new battery cause the bike would not start and stay running. Got the bike back and it seemed fine. Drove to ocotillo wells and the battery was dead and the bike would not run right after jumping the battery. If you like to get scewed this is the place to go!

These guy are a joke and only skilled at older bikes. Rip off for any other repair work. feed you bullshit. over all a shitty grimey messy disorganized place. Good for tire change and minor work only. they do not go above and beyond and over charge. Lies to your face. read the 5 star comments and they are all novice people with novice issues.

My friends told me to go to Mach 1 for my classic honda. I must admit I was skeptical when I first arrived there. The shop is in an old building right off newport blvd, so that makes it super easy to find. When I came to pick up my bike they never told me any price and they charged 600$ and didnt fix anything!!!!! Then they told me I needed an entire new motor. Then they said they wouldnt fix it. Later I took it to another shop and found out the stuck a bunch of washers in the carbs which they said was the stupidest thing anyone could ever do. The owner told me it was running good when he first tested it after they did the work... YEAH RIGHT!! theres no way it was running good then magically 10 minutes later it was worse then when I brought it.The way he does business is totally illegal, please dont ever take your bike here. I have no idea how they have any decent reputation at all!

Where to start? I have been going to Mach 1 to buy parts when I was working on bikes out of my garage. the first couple of times I went in there they had no idea what they were doing. you look around and people are running around like chickens with there head cut off, mechanics are dropping bikes up against the fence in front of other customers, and the lady is yelling at me and everyone else for that matter !! They finally dig the parts out I need and they are priced way over retail! I have to argue with them for 10 minutes for them to drop the price (which is still more then MSRP) and as Im leaving I look at the price tag on the part and it $20 less then what they tried to charge me.Mach 1, I dont think so :(
