I love this store. Its close to my place so its convenient and the new set up is starting to come around and become more functional.My favorite part of this store isnt the great selection of items they have, or how clean and well stocked the shelves are (most of the time).. its definitely the employees. Mark has been there for FOREVER! And I love him to bits. Hes always such a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. Also, I cant forget my favorite gal, Jennifer! She is by far the best interaction I have ever had at ANY store. I never know how to talk to people in public and she can start a conversation that makes you feel so welcome with ease. She is a breath of fresh air to the retail industry. Today, she called her MOD just for some stickers for the kiddos, we didnt even ask for that. She saw us coming and that was her first thought, was to make my kids smile. Every time I come in the store and see her working, I know my day is just about to get better in just the few minutes it takes to check out. I truly hope these two get so much recognition at work by their peers and management. They deserve to be appreciated daily!

Two days in a row Ive had to stand in the pharmacy line for over an hour. Its not the pharmacists fault theyre short staffed. However it is the young & dumb store managers fault that things are priced wrong & shelves arent organized correctly. Yesterday I bought two packages of tp which I was charged 7.49 a piece for when on the shelf it said they were on sale for 5.00 a piece. They fixed that transaction & then charged me 13.00 for the mascara I bought today. In the picture youll see its marked as 8.00. The manager said he cant sell me it at that price because its labelled wrong. When I told him he needs to go fix the shelf then he said hell let someone know.....if youre the manager youre the one who needs to know & do something about it. If you want to give yourself a huge headache & be charged more than the prices state, then by all means go to the Fred Meyers on Kings. I however will NOT be shopping here ever again!!!

This review is strictly for the Fred Meyer Pharmacy. I think I have just had the most unprofessional and rude service I’ve ever experienced.I am aware to the fact that no one is always their best self, even those who chose to have a career that involves customer service. I am aware that occasionally things can run less than smoothly at work. Yet there is no reason that could excused such treatment of a customer.I am now also painfully aware that some people just should NOT be working in a career that involves customer service.I won’t include all the details of my encounter with Fred Meyer Pharmacy in Corvallis, Oregon. All that needs said is more than one employee in this department are outrageously rude during more than one encounter and provided false information then said they did not give out said information.Their rudeness was absolutely unprovoked in anyway and very much unappreciated!I will be seeking the service of a different pharmacy.

An older, smaller Fred Meyer with a different sort of layout, but with a typical FM selection. Bakery with individual and bulk rolls and donuts, decent meat and produce, deli, electronics, housewares. Tight quarters in the parking lot, but its rarely full. Lots of students from the nearby university walk here. Theyre lucky to have the place so close.

Hahaha! Some genius exec at Kroger thought charging customers a .50$ cash back fee was a good idea! Not only do they lose customers but they suck on more credit card fees (dirty run down from my own experience says they’ll lose about $4 avg. per debit transaction they discourage). Poor employees at Freddie’s! I’m sorry your leaders are actually *that* lacking in basic math skill. Overall, I like FM shopping in general and the Kroger lineup works well for me. Pricing, customer care from a policy standpoint, and convenience could be more competitive, so I only shop here after my go-to stores are closed or I need something specific to the store. The local FM is on par with most and I like the employees.

It’s Christmas time, and it’s hard to keep secrets when you have kids that are in close proximity of their Christmas presents. Ely and Mason helped me put the bags I bought to keep the giant present covered. The best helpers! They helped keep the Christmas magic alive. And especially during this time. I really appreciate this. And their kindness for caring. Wonderful place! Wonderful customer serving throughout this entire store!

Ordering is easy with the app. Use it just before you leave the house to notify the store youre on your way. Generally the order is packed in the trunk in just a few minutes after arriving. The attendant is always helpful and pleasant.

Substandard mens room with only 1 toilet and appears to be under some sort of construction. Employees are friendly and helpful. Theres also a Starbucks upstairs. The store has had the same layout for over 25 years, possibly longer.

The best thing about Fred Myers is there response when you lose valuable items. I lost my phone and passport there and they recovered it.

I was referred to Fred Meyer for buying footwear for work. I don’t usually shop here so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I got to the shoe isle and couldn’t find any flats in my size(10-11), so I asked an employee if they had any in the back. The employee told me that they only get One size 10 and One size 11 per shoe style/type and don’t get anymore once sold. Frustrated, I told her thank you for the help and information. Size 10 footwear is a common shoe size and should be more readily available. Additionally their shoe prices are ridiculously expensive. I would expect those prices at Birkenstock and other higher quality footwear stores. 😡

Probably the most toxic place you can shop in Corvallis.The store itself is so drenched in air freshener and the smell of perfumed insecticides, just walking into this place can give you a headache and nausea. Not very good at enforcing mask wearing either

Shopped there today as I often do, normally have a fine time. Noticed they had brought back the same single-use bags that were banned at the beginning of the year. Asked why that was and the U-scan employee didnt know. Pretty disappointed to see that. I was also told by the employee that the single use plastic bags are offered for free and that paper bags required a fee. To me, this promotes the use of the single use plastic bags over reusable or paper bags.

Trid to buy underwear for a five pack of Haynes boxer briefs they wanted 40 dollars omg they are not worth 8 dollars a piece they are not nike or anything like that they are Haynes I can drive to Albany and get them for 15-20 dollars a pack of five dont buy clothes here they will rob you blind

The location is great, and the customer service is pretty good. However, you pay a little more for the convenience of having almost everything at one location. And if youre shopping for food, while Fred Meyer does have some unique items, youre going to get a better deal down the road at WinCo Foods.

I purchased $150 worth of apparel back in April and tried to return it the following day, I was told that they couldn’t return the items until further notice. I understand. More than a month later, I called and was told the they are now returning apparel. So today 5/26 I went to return the items, whoever worked at the customer service desk was not pleasant. I currently worked in retail as a manager, I would never speak to customer the way she was speaking to me. I am appalled. I typically don’t shop at Freddie’s but I always thought that this store was pretty good with customer service? I’m sure it was one off but super disappointed today :( maybe next time???

Some fine stuff but many products are unnecessarily expensive. New set up is weird and confusing AF.Store is always crowded. Not a good idea to visit during the pandemic coz there is no way for you to maintain proper social distancing and store management is not very good at enforcing masks etc. which is terrible. Aisles are not as wide so you almost always get stuck with people.

Excellent service from electronics department finding a router! And recently I forgot to pick up a 20 cashback from the self-checkout, and the staff at customer service and the self-checkout were great. They got my forgotten cash and I was able to pick it up! It was a relief on a Friday after a full week of work not to have lost that.

Shopped here (this specific store) since 1980.Like other stores, Freddies went to a card a long time ago that some (I guess) used to accumulate points for buying gas and being a person that hates having to be in a club- never cared to get one.Several weeks ago... very obviously two weeks or so ago, it seems that Kruegers came in and started pushing their card policy and now many items are salebut only in larger quantities (buy five) but worse... now only offered to card carriers, some heft discounts not offered to everyone.Freddies... was my go to market, sure hit other places but the preferred customer thing will drive me away.

I love Fred Meyer. The one in Corvallis is quite small but really handy for groceries, sundries, clothing, some housewares and electronics. That being said... If you want a really good shopping experience, go to Fred Meyer in Albany, or even better, Newport! Newport even has a mens big and tall section

We have received emails stating that the Fred Meyer in our area now does pick-up and delivery. After making an account, selecting +60 items, and trying to check-out we had two very frustrating results. 1) There was no option to check-out for pick-up. No matter where we looked, no check-out and choose a time slot option. 2) When selecting delivery we were able to find a check-out button and choose a time slot after entering our address. Once we selected Continue to Pay... then the site tells us that delivery is not an option in our area.THIS WAS A FRUSTERATING WASTE OF TIME AND A TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!Back to Walmart pick-up we go never to return.

B R U HI love this place but someone took a wing off of my $10 rotisserie chicken before packaging it and my heart will never be full again.Otherwise its great.

The produce is high quality and there is a great selection. The employees are awesome. They are friendly and go out of their way to help any way they can. The store is clean and well lit. Their selection of ethnic foods is slim and access to the second floor could be better. But all in all my favorite place to shop.

Its really hard to catch deals here. I purchase very similar items regularly and always have a different bill. Overall though, still a good selection of different items, with or without an official membership to their loyalty program. I also have a card that I always forget and my number is not attached to it making my bill larger when I shop there.

Corvallis Fred Meyer is a really great store. They are small and dont have some things that the larger Fred Meyers would have but for the most part theyve got great customer service and great quality products. Employees at the customer service desk are always extremely helpful especially when I forget to scan my rewards card and they put the points on for me anyway. I also recommend the pharmacy there smaller but I like it because its a more personal experience. I really like one pharmacist whos particularly knowledgeable about everything, I cant remember his name but he is the tall, slender, dark skin, dark haired gentleman with glasses. If you ever need a question for the pharmacist or medicine or Pharmacy related products in the store I suggest you ask him. Fred Meyer also has great sales and a woohoo Shelf that I have to stop and shop at every time Im there. I sure am thankful to have this Fred Meyer close to my house and after shopping at many other stores in Corvallis I still prefer to shop at Fred Meyer.

Staff is helpful and courteous, organic section is well stocked with some competitive prices better than organic or natural stores. Produce section usually looks nice but could use more attention to fresh items and displaying them to lure customer purchases.Parking is always available, ADA accessibility is available and self checkouts get you in and out if youre pressed for time.

I cannot in good conscience go above 3-stars because of the insane mark-up on prices at Fred Meyers. That being said, this store has a little bit of everything and is good in a pinch. Their coupons can also be a good deal if you time it right and need something included in that weeks offer. Their baked goods are some of the best in grocery store settings. The store is always clean and well-organized. Floor staff are an endangered species; be prepared to hunt for them, dont expect them to approach you. Return policies are on par with other similar department stores.

For starters, you cant beat the Valet parking. Upon entry to the store you are greeted with impeccably waxed floors. The aromas eminating from the bakery are heavenly. The produce is piled ever so seductively and the meat selection is beyond compare. I cant imagine shopping anywhere else. Plus they have both types of Cheetos.

It is the nearest grocery store to me. I really like shopping in here. It is a great place to find most everything you need. You should be checking coupons though because they have good sales on certain items.

Great Freddys with the exception of a small sports department. Just had an issue there where someone was offering me some sort of hard alcohol and when I declined, there was a borderline threat. Immediatly after I reported it the staff took care of it right away. Would recommend but remember of bottle deposit.

Has pharmacy, so you can shop while you prescriptions are filled. Has great clearance prices on clothes and other items. Has almost everything you might need, from food to hardware to house plants and has a nursery. Has really good catfood prices-3 1/2lbs. Meow Mix $3.99! Only thing missing is a good meat and fish Dept. Deli is excellent!

My first time ever writing a review for a grocery/department store. I want to give a shoutout to the older gentleman in charge of taking passport photos at the TV/ phones/ technology section! He provided me with outstanding customer service and was extremely helpful and tentative when I had some special requests about my photos. It’s people like this that make my (and many others’) day. This was my first visit so I am holding the potential 5 star until I have several more. The store overall was a pleasant place to shop. The price structure reasonable and the selection quite varied.

Surprisingly they have multiple products for which they dont have my favorite flavor, but they have almost every other. Gatorade and Bai. Ive noticed it at multiple Kroger/Fred Meyer locations. Good for getting most groceries and home essentials though!

A typical Fred Meyers, it is exactly how you would expected it: Variety of products at good prices. There is also a bakery, Starbucks and a Jewelry store inside. The Jewelers also replace watch batteries here.

This where New Life in Jesus Ministries stocks its pantry. They have pretty much anything here you could want. The candy isle is dead center the store FYI Love it when they do $1 milks. The people who work here are all very nice people. Close to campus and sometimes crowded when the kids come back from breaks but theres worse things going on in the world than that.

This is the coziest, little Fred Meyer Ive ever visited, and the staff is beyond awesome. The deli has really good prepared food. There is an upstairs with merchandise and a Starbucks with a comfy seating area where you can overlook the entire store, which is really a funky asset that most Fred Meyers do not possess. The only drawback: they do not sell kids clothing. I found that pretty odd and a little disappointing. But they are small, so they sell what sells the best.

Dont order delivery. My groceries never arrived and it became a nightmare. Management was completely unhelpful. They gave me the run around about who is responsible for an order placed through Kroger, then hung up on me (I wasnt rude, if thats what youre thinking), and gave me incorrect information.When I have come into the store, there are usually at least 3 people not wearing masks. They do not track how many people are in the store and they do not clean their carts.Also, whats up with all the busted cinder blocks in the parking lot? People are obviously driving over them and probably damaging their cars.Old Review: This store is cramped! If you have a cart, its a constant game of oh, sorry! Let me get out of your way. They have good produce and a fair selection of school/art supplies. Tends to be more expensive than I prefer my groceries to be. In 2017, they let loose milk rot in their parking lot for months in the heat. It was disgusting. By the time they had it cleaned, you could smell it from neighboring businesses. That had to be a health hazard.

Amazing custom cakes! I asked for a mermaid cake and it came out with such beautiful detail that I felt reluctant to cut into it. Whoever is decorating cakes here is very skilled.

Not a very good layout or gluten free options. For Fred Meyer, I prefer the one in Albany. Much easier to find things and more options. However, customer service is good.

Not a large store as far as other Fred Meyers are concerned but has a good selection of everything you need. The store is very meet and clean work lots of helpful staff. Complete with a garden center and a Starbucks!

They cater to Oregon State University students primarily. An okay all-in-one store. Not nearly as big as the other Fred Meyer Stores. For most things you want at a store in Corvallis this would be it. However, if you need anything in a Big n Tall section look to Albany or Salem or Eugene or Newport cause you wont find anything but 2x or less here.

Has electric carts, but the carts barely fit in the elevator. It took me a long time and a lot of bumper cars to fit in the elevator and then escape it—and both are off of narrow hallways, so just getting in and out of the elevator area is a mess.Restrooms are upstairs, to add insult to injury, although the manager says there are some in the first floor warehouse if needed.Area near the books and café is barely navigable in an electric cart.Sweet staff, though!

One of the best options if you just want to buy regular stuff.They have different bunch of staff and they have excellent customer service..If you want to go shopping this is the place you want to go ;)

There were no baskets at either entrance, and I am 86 and came fairly far to shop. I went to Customer Service and the girl there said,in essence,”Too bad!” Alan.one of your employees cane walking by and said.”I’ll find you a basket!” There were still none in the store ,so he went outside and found one and was so pleasant and nice. I had decided I probably wouldn’t be coming back,and his kindness changed my whole attitude. Thanks,Alan. ( I have no idea why my grandson’s picture is on this )

Fred Meyer and Winco are the two best grocery stores in the northwest if you are looking for good selection, and quality products at a reasonable price. Fred Meyer runs some fantastic deals in their weekly advertisements. If you buy their on sale groceries, and know how to cook, you can eat like a king on a very modest budget.If you want to know the name of the person who raised the chicken, how the chicken lived, what is the name of the chicken, where and how it was killed etc. and you are willing to pay $8/lb for chicken then Fred Meyer is not the grocery place for you.

Good place to quickly grab stuff if you are in a hurry. You an almost get anything you want/need here. There is a Starbucks upstairs with a view of the store.But all things are more expensive than other alternative stores. Sometimes the fruits and veggies are rotten, especially onions. Return policy says 6 months, but you cant return electronics after a month.

It takes longer to wait in the parking lot for a pre-arranged pickup order than if I just go into the store to buy the items myself.

Its a great place and close by to a lot of houses. Nice for a quick stop in.

Its got everything you need, pretty much. Its not as big as some Fred Meyers but its still got a variety of things. Groceries here wont be the cheapest but they arent the most expensive either and theyve got a decent selection of organic stuff, if that floats your boat.

Typical Fred Meyers. Not much to say. Needed BBQ sauce. They had BBQ sauce. Dont know what you people want.

They had an absolutely absurd number of both pumpkins and flowers for sell. Their selection of gift cards was exceptional. I was most pleased by my visit.

I picked up some new bath towels and hand towels. They had a sale for them so they were offered at a pretty decent price. One thing that is kind of inconvenient about this store is that you have to go all the way upstairs on the second floor to use a restroom and the males restroom only has one stall. There was a line beginning to build up in the bathroom waiting to use noted stall.

Great customer service! I bought a camping lantern here that turned out to be broken. When I brought it back without receipt, they allowed me to exchange it, and even refunded me some money because the price had dropped in the intervening week!

I have always loved fred myers from the first time i went in the store over 35 years ago but.....now fm is charging an atm fee for a cash withdrawal with a purchase. their cash register notice card even tries to make it sound like they are doing us a favor...what favor...so we dont have to go to an atm machine well we didnt have to go before they started charging have already started cutting back my visits and going elsewhere especially when i want cash we suspected that such changes would take place with the big corporate take over so slowly the big buys will shave a little here and a little there and then the fred myers as i have loved it will have disappeared i would normally give fm a 5 start without even blinking....now i dont know...a 3 star today and maybe a 1 star soon in the future

They only provide one motorized cart for handicapped people. If it is in use when you get there-good luck!UPDATE 8/30/2018-now a plethora of handicapped carts! I think there are at least 4, so there is a good chance of always getting one. Great Job Fred Meyer! Listened to the needs and acted upon them.

The deli has boars head products which cost more, but are worth every penny. Over all size of the store is smaller compared to other stores. Great associates and friendly atmosphere.

I love the fact that the Starbucks is upstairs. You take an elevator and walk into a pleasant cafe. Otherwise its like the other three Fred Meyers Ive shopped at.

I met Schuyler Pechnick today who works at Fred Meyer. In the meat department Today. He treated me with great respect. I found that in all business transactions he is very fair to all parties involved. He discusses terms very diplomatic, and conveys a great deal of sincerity, and trust. I would recommend Fred Meyer, and Schuyler Pechnick for all your shopping needs

I love Fred Meyer, I get great service and decent prices. This one isnt exactly my favorite but I havent ever had a bad experience here.

I can shop while my prescriptions are readied, and, I love their Simple Truth brand products. Try the Cranberries and Cinnamon Chia Instant Oatmeal- great taste, great price, and, healthy! The Veggie Chips are another favorite-they melt on your tongue, if you want to go slower, and, arent so salty, like regular chips. Believe it or not, the Soy Delicious Ice cream, really is delicious- I had my doubts, but, the gal said, if I didnt be like it, I could bring it back! It was Mint Chocolate Fudge, and, the best ice cream, ever! Am trying to get that flavor back.Their deli had many sumptuous choices, as wellThey have great clearance sales on everything, to -cooling Ive bought many Kool clothing items!!!

I like Fred Meyer stores but the Corvallis store is small and has limited supplies of items. When Oregon State students come back from breaks many times there are a lot of outs since there is limited storage for extra stock. The employees are nice though.

Fred Meyer is my main big grocery store in corvallis however it is always busy. Some days it is hard to get through the aisles. Overall they have good prices and selection. I suggest going here mornings mid week and never on Sunday.

Primarily a grocery store with clothes, shoes, garden center, and some furniture, office supplies, and toys. Great produce. Popular with the college crowd, so its much less crowded in the summer.

Overall a good store for groceries. Some things are a bit difficult to find but the friendly staff can easily help youbfind it. Its a good store and good staff.

In general, I like Fred Meyers, but I am not fan of this store... It is mostly the fault of Corvallis business size laws, UT this store is small, parking is usually a nightmare, and it is full of college students. M7ch better in the summer, but selection is limited compared to other full size Fred Meyers.

Mark Priaulx was the most helpful guys on the planet especially for this busy pre holiday season !

Centrally located all around Oregon: Portland, Wilsonville, Oregon City, Salem, Corvallis, Eugene, & many more. They are always clean, friendly stores, have a great variety of department, throughout the stores; clothing, groceries, toys, cosmetic, flowers, hardware, lighting, bakery, etc all shopping under one roof!!! What more could you ask for!!!
