Like this store. I picked up some sushi and relaxed in the dinning area. Clean store and good food. The staff are always friendly.

This was a 5 star review, but knowingly allowing maskless people in the store during the pandemic changes this. They have wonderful food in their hot kitchen area, but its not worth the risk!

Well the architecture is nice. The prices are over inflated . The bakery used to be the best but now all the bakery employees are slow older women hanging in the back chit chatting, and act like its their first day and have no clue when I may ever see a carrot cake again 🤦‍♀️. I left the 3 person coffee line after it went no where for 15 minutes even though they had at least 8 people working back there.. Maybe they are all new and got very little training in customer service.. Going to New morning for my pies this season.

I love Market of Choice--always clean, fresh veggies, friendly staff, and great selection of meat. I do spend too much time getting through the pastry section.

The store is airways nice to go to. It was fairly busy today. I went to check out their large beer selection.

This store is so much fun! They have a good selection of foods, including vegan and keto options, a great wine selection, and a wonderful bakery. The deli options are absolutely top notch! They have a nice selection of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and fruits and also carry bulk items. You will find some unusual items and a selection of everyday items. Check out is easy, checkers and store staff are usually very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful store. It has all things that you would expect from this kind of store and more. People are nice and all organic food is amazing. It has always been a very clean store. I give the guy that cleaned up my daughters mess a 5 star for his speed.

Whats not to love about this place? Always pristine and fully stocked with fresh and unique items, as well as the basics. Extensive prepared food section, beautiful bakery items, gelato and coffee. There is a large seating area upstairs to sit and enjoy your food. Trendy, fun items in the non-food items and flower shop.

I was extremely disappointed to observe that the Oregon state mask mandate was not being fully enforced here. I know the rules are changing rapidly as vaccination rates increase, but as of checking today, it is still in full effect. While Oregon and the CDC recognize that masks are not necessary for vaccinated individuals, it also clearly states that business allowing this must have a policy in place to check the vaccination status of all individuals before they enter their establishment, which I did not see implemented at your store.I will be reporting this violation to OSHA and encouraging others to do the same. Im disappointed in MoC for putting their customers, employees, and the larger community in Corvallis at risk.

This is a beautiful market and is just what it claims...full of brands natural and conventional. Its similar to Whole Foods in the layout with extensive deli and bakery. Everything is good. I would give it 5 stars if there was more of a commitment to healthy organic foods in the deli.

I love Market of Choice!! Things can be a little pricey, but that is to be expected for the kinds of things I buy (mostly gluten free and non dairy alternatives.) Love the high quality ready-made food, its a great place to grab lunch on the go! Sushi is great too!

The environment is nice, but the prices are quite high. It is hard to say if these prices are worthy. The deli food, cakes, and deserts thy made themselves are nice, nevertheless are not recommended attribute to prices. In other word, their items are good but the quality does not deserve their prices

Great fresh food of all types, pricey.

Great products, terrible customer service!The people in the bakery will ignore you, chatting and laughing amongst themselves in a group of 3-4, until you’ve been there for 10 minutes and asked for help multiple times. Then they take these beautiful pastries and put them in a box, sliding around. Then the bagger at checkout puts them in the bag sideways, so you end up paying $10 for 2 pastries that look like you took a bite out of one and dropped the other on the ground. The person bagging groceries saw me pull out the box and saw they were squished and rolling around and just shrugged.This is one of many experiences like this. It seems like every employee there, especially in the bakery, hates their job, or hates the customers, or both.I understand that service is stressful and I’m very patient (I work in a high stress service job) but this is a consistent thing. Customer service skills seem like a necessary addition to staff training here.

Always a great experience at Market Of Choice. We LOVE their brick oven pizza and bakery item! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Prices are a little higher but ita worth the amazing customer service!

My 2 stars represents an overall rating based on multiple visits:+ Great prepared food (deli, bakery etc.)+ Specialty products can’t get elsewhere (e.g. cheeses)+ Product of higher quality than I can get elsewhere (e.g. Willamette Valley Pie company frozen pies)I don’t shop there very often, but I go there occasionally for the positive reasons above. Which leads to the first negative:- Ridiculously high prices (I call it Nieman Market of Choice). I don’t mind paying a premium price for the positive reasons listed above. But when I do go out of my way to shop there for something I rely on my expectation that whatever I get is always reliably of good quality. Which leads to my other negative:- I’ve had several very poor experiences with produce. One was a year or two ago when I went to get some fresh green beans for special guests. The beans were of distinctly poor quality – tough and tasteless. My second experience was a few days ago, when I went to get some corn for special guests. It didn’t look that great, but it’s not always easy to tell with corn and it was MOC so I bought it. As I was shucking it I took a taste of the raw corn. It was very bad! Not only no sweetness whatsoever but also a musty taste of stale produce. I was not going to serve that to my guests, so I ran to Safeway in the hope they had something better. Their corn looked very fresh , I decided not to take any chances and decided to taste it raw before I bought it (I figured if it wasn’t good I’d just buy the one ear I tasted). Happily it was very sweet and fresh tasting! Furthermore it was LESS THAN HALF the price per ear I had paid at MOC!This is not the way to run a “high-end” business. If you’re going to charge a high premium for your “upscale” quality products, they damn well better be consistently high quality – and most definitely not well below average quality or……..just bad!Follow-up: I took the bad corn back to MOC and talked to the manager, making the point that if you’re going to charge a high premium for your “upscale” quality products, they should be reliably of high quality. She was very good about it, not defensive, refunded my money and then headed over to talk to the produce people. Hopefully they will internalize the message - well see.

I went to ups store not market of choice, yet UPS was not full of people and service was quick.

Love the staff! Can be spendy, but good quality & items you cant find anywhere else in town.

Market of Choice is a very clean place to shop. They have made every effort to provide a safe place now that the corona virus is here. The cost of some items are a bit high, but the quality is very good. Their meat/ fish/poultry department is the best. They also provide a lot of local produce and there is always someone working there to help. Checkout is very fast too. The deli section has a nice variety but the hot food items are always the same. Changing it up would be nice.

Meat department is the bomb I love the choices of all the deferent meats and fish.

Gourmet food emporium with a full bakery, food counter selling premade and cook to order fare, a quality cheese section, a large beer and wine area specializing in local products, along with fresh produce, meats, veggies and flowers.

Service is awesome even when they are busy. Staff treated us so nice. Prices were good for how much you get. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

Five stars arent enough for the MOC Sushi crew! Not only are they expert in their food artistry, pleasing both eye and palate, but they are just genuinely nice people! Customer service flows naturally from them and if they have the ingredients for your special request, they will make it for you. My example of this is the poke bowl which is now a regular feature among their offerings.Now I hope MOC will dedicate a section of their deli case to Korean items like the fermented foods known as banchan (Kim chi, cucumbers, bean sprouts, fish cake, radish, etc.) This will make a happy marriage to the Sushi counter!

Strange that a store that advertises healthy and organic foods hasn’t figured out curbside pickup options 8 months plus into a pandemic. It appears Market of Choice is more concerned about their profit margins than the health of the greater community. MoC is one of the only grocery stores in the area that hasn’t figured out curbside pickup or delivery. For a company that charges exorbitant prices to begin with this decision seems particularly unwise. As coronavirus numbers continue to spike in Oregon their decision to ignore science is unconscionable. My family won’t be shopping here anymore. 👋

My favorite market!

I love this store! It has specialty items like gluten free things. But my most favorite is going to the bakery and deli areas to buy soup, burrito bowls and a piece of cake.

Busy. Short lines. Everything in stock. Would like to see GTS Cocoyo plain flavor non dairy yogurt-ish. :)

Market of choice is my favorite grocer in Corvallis. In addition to the normal grocery staples, Market of choice also has a wider array of products, more types of curry and eggs and vegetarian products. Additionally, the fresh prepared food is amazing. I love picking out a pastry, or making a burrito or bowl, or watching my sushi be made. Market of choice has some of the best pizza in Corvallis too. Overall, its a good place to shop, a great place for new and varied products, and a wonderful place to pick up some delicious and high quality food.

This store is one of my favorite places to shop. The customer service here is superb. Granted, they are a bit pricier than other stores; the selection, service and choice available make it worthwhile. The bulk food and deli and hot food section is very good and very convenient - if I have one suggestion, it is to more fully disclose the ingredients in the hot foods. I am allergic to all egg products and eating the soups is a bit like roulette. Otherwise, total recommend if you can afford to be spoiled. Its awesome!

Nice. Bought some soup and bread all gourmet. Good burgers too. Went back a month later and ordered some mashed potatoes and gravy and fried chicken.....tossed it in the garbage. Potatoes and gravy not palatable and chicken dry and over cooked.

Ample parking, clean store, it was a fun experience which is odd to say about a grocery store but it was. The aisles are wide the stock is diverse and the staff were helpful and happy. Nothing felt rushed and everything was easy to find.

I ordered a Thanksgiving meal on November 9th for pick up on November 24. Then I called to ask about curbside pickup and the staff said this would be fine, I was to call when I arrived. On November 24, no one was picking up the phone, so I went inside. There, several people assembled my order and went over it for me. The items were all there. When I got home, I discovered there were no instructions for preparation and the labels were all past sell by dates. Upon further inspection I found ok dates on everything but the Diestel turkey loaf, which I assumed was ok since it was precooked. I did eventually find cooking instructions on the web, which was helpful in reducing my holiday angst.The staff was consistently helpful. It did seem they were overwhelmed and had poor communication. I am only writing to say, order sheets (the green ones) should not go out which indicated expired dates. It would also be helpful not to have to look for cooking instructions.Francine Theodore

Generally I refer to this place as market of paycheck... but I will say they have hands down one of the best beer selections and the staff knows the products. plus you can order a case of whatever and they will find it

I needed a quick supper after a long day of work on 7/22 and headed to my favorite supermarket in town - Market of Choice. The prepared foods section is top notch - build your custom stir fry is one of my favorites but I noticed sample pizza slices and could not resist a taste. My selection tonight was a slice of Spinach Mushroom Gorgonzola and a slice of Classic Pepperoni - super yummy and very filling. But there is always room for desert and tonights winner was the Black Forest Chocolate with a Cherry filling and a delicious cup of coffee. Dine inside or on the patio. Highly Recommended. *****Ten Stars*****

Salmon salad needs more content besides lettuce. Nice manager gave me my money back plus allowed me to get a new item. Thanks again for your understanding. 🙂

I love this market & now that I have moved to Salem, am missing it! Their soup bar is the best in the land, specialty breads (spelt), pastries & pies that are awesome & they are all made locally! If you like heavy cream...you gotta try what they have for sale....in a bottle with a green top. A+++++

Good place to buy beer, and specialty food items. Beer dept has a lot of high quality items, check your can dates before buying. I bought an IPA here that was a year old last month, $5 down the drain, literally.

👍Love the variety and even unexpected items to choose from. I wish the bakery could use real and old fashioned ingredients. Things look and smell wonderful, but just do not taste like fresh bakery products used to.☹ Definitely a lost enjoyment. On the whole however, I like to visit and Im sure they will have something you didnt know you wanted. 😁

If you like $5 bags of coffee that cost over $9.50 be my guest. If you want to save money, do not go. They do have excellent soups, breads, veges, and good stuff. If you want Irish butter churned by elves go there (kidding). Fantastic bakery goods. I shop there for unusual items I know will be expensive.

Ive been here a few times for some take out items. This is probably the priciest grocery store in Corvallis. In addition to general groceries they have a wide selection of alcohol and a large food court to order or take out. There are cheaper options in Corvallis but if you feel like spending a bit extra on food then this is the best you are going to get.

The building itself is extremely beautiful! The workmanship is amazing!the only thing I dont like about it is how expensive everything is here. I would recommend going here if you like an amazing shopping experience but have a lot of money!

They have one of the fanciest bakerys around. Only problem is they dont have any sugar free options which makes it hard for diabetics like me to shop there.

Some cute stuff. I especially like that they stock locally made pies. Cuz pies. You know they help most situations get better. And if things are already going great, adding pies puts you at the top of the chart. Oh and its nice to get a meal in their foodie area. Yummy.

This is maybe the best establishment in all of Corvallis. The deli is unparalleled. The produce is amazing. The meat department has free range and organic options. There are the less common ingredients that you can’t find anywhere else here. I love this place. It’s kind of pathetic, but sometimes my boyfriend and I will just walk around the store for our date night because the vibe is so good. When we move, this will be the place we miss more than anything else. What a gem.

MOC is such a fun store to go into even if you dont need anything. You can grab a cup of coffee, walk around and discover new ingredients or different verities of your staple shopping items.Claire at the coffee shop is always friendly and helpful and a great start to the shopping experience at Market of Choice.

Fun selection of mostly local items. I enjoy the deli, salad bar, desert bar, to-go meals. They have the best selection of non-dairy items in Corvallis. Cute little florist shop with live plants and succulents. Good selection of produce and when it is on sale, it mimics or is cheaper than the big box retailers. Cool items behind the butcher block too!

They need to build one in Salem. Great selection of organic and conventionally grown produce. Deli and bakery both wonderful. Cheese selection and gluten free selection is excellent. Meat choice varied and healthy. Great store

Great choice of specialty foods here! An absolute treat if you need to stop for lunch and grab a gallon of milk or a beer. The beer and wine choice is very nice, though the beer customer service needs to be improved just a touch. No lack of bulk items, all foods are fresh and accurately priced. Checkers are quick and polite. The sushi is absolutely a delight.I would like to see more gourmet choices for the deli meats, but there is no lack of choice in any other department, even the health and personal aisles are well stocked.

The best food emporium in the valley. Extraordinary deli and bakery. House made sausage and crab cakes are heads and shoulders above many fine restaurants. Free range chicken. The cheese makers know their products. Highly recommend. Bring your own bags. Corvallis charges.

Looking for a quick, inexpensive meal? Try the hot food bar, salad bar, or stir fry bar at Market of Choice. We like the stir fry bar, where you get to fill up your own bowl with the veggies and other goodies you want in your bowl, then you choose a sauce and a protein (if you want meat or shrimp). Then they stir fry it in front of you, and youre outta there in about 5 minutes with fresh made-to-order food. They even have a small cafe area where you can eat if you like.

Market of choice is a next level shopping experience. I love the healthier selections and range of items available. If youre into hot sauce theres a great selection thats better than anyone else Ive seen. The checkers are always friendly. I always like to go there to buy natural soap and things like probiotics. Its a great store where you can get things you cant at a traditional big box store. I would definitely recommend the store for anyone. You might find something special there.

Visiting from Del Mar California. This market is fantastic and probably better than anything I have been to in the San Diego area.

We love Market of Choice. From the moment you walk in the door, you can smell delicious food. Great selection. Friendly staff. The only issue I have is that the bathrooms are upstairs. Kind of inconvenient for a person in a wheelchair.

Meat is fantastic and the best fish in town

This place is amazing. Quality grocery at reasonable prices, and the restrooms are so nice. This place is better than Whole Foods (bought out by Amazon).

Ok, I didnt have any interactions here as I just stopped for a bathroom, but that alone is really worthy of a mention. Not only were they wonderfully clean (although a bit too fragrant, but not obnoxiously so) they were spacious and pleasantly lit. There was a safe shelf to place your bag and the doors gave lots of privacy. Look, I know its just a toilet cubicle, but it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Next time I hope to be there before the prepared food counter closes.

Good selection of gluten free items, especially cakes and some bakery items. Great meat counter and wine and beer selection, even local craft brewery beers. Bit pricey throughout though.

Absolutely wonderful to work with. Got my wedding bouquet and wedding cake here and it was spectacular. I was extremely impressed with Beth Farley in the Floral Department and we worked so much together to make my flowers absolutely beautiful. She made me feel like she was going to be in the wedding too with her excitement and no pressure just pure joy. A delight to work with and will continue to do business with. Everyone raved about the beauty of the bouquet and the taste of the cake.

I was looking for dried apricots for my mother and was unable to find at a competitor. I was very glad to find them at your store in the bulk section. Very nice bulk section.Since the bulk foods is in front of the meat section, I walked over to browse. The young man working in that section was cleaning up the area as it was closing and he was very kind to let me read the ingredients of a couple of marinades you use on your meats. He also allowed me to buy some of the marinade by pouring some into a container to take to the register to purchase. That is good customer service! Thank you!

The selection of food at this market is great. They carry a lot of specialty items, and higher end products. The bakery and deli also serve great food.

Honestly two stars is being generous. I had never been into a Market of Choice before due to the really pretentious logo but decided to give it a fair chance. The first thing thing that caught my attention was the potent odor I could best describe as chewing tobacco being aired out of the deli, I proceeded to pick up some sushi from the other end but could not take the rest of the department seriously(Real Trailblazer fans take their jobs much more seriously than this). I picked up a few more things and the price seemed to be more than what the sales suggested (apparently a common occurrence was the gossip in the line) but I payed up anyways cause yall seriously need the charity.

Seems fine but very pricey. Just go to Fred Meyer or WinCo to save your wallet.

A great place for groceries. Especially items hard to find in the big box grocery stores. Be prepared to spend a few more dollars but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for

Market of Choice is the best grocery store in our area. The produce and meat are the best also. Some things are a little more expensive but then you find a hermiston cantaloupe for .49 lb. It has really great vitamin section and random items like scarves also.
