Weve had mixed experiences here, but mostly negative. The bad: A salesperson demanded my wife tell him her budget before hed say what the price of the car we wanted was. When she refused (as anyone who knows how to negotiate would) he got mad, pulled down his mask and told her angrily that she was making this difficult. On another occasion a different salesperson said that one of their used cars had to be priced higher because the shop had to make so many repairs - this is not how pricing works and you shouldnt have to pay more because the dealership bought a bad car. The good: there is at least one salesperson who is reasonable, knowledgeable and professional. Also, the manager reached out to see if they could help address any issues.

Buyer beware!We ordered a cargo box for our Volvo, it arrived on time as promised by the parts department. That is the only good thing I can say about our experience.When we arrived to pick up the Cargo Box (in our C30 we were then told by the parts department that “The cargo box was shipped in pieces and we would need to schedule an appointment for them to assemble and install it, this will take about an hour and will cost $160”. We refused and informed them we would come back in a day or two with our truck and pick up the Cargo Box and assemble and install it ourselves.Two days later when we pick it up and get it home we open the box to find a completely assembled Cargo Box ready to be installed. It took us less than 10 minutes to install it on our car.It appears that Volvo Cars of Corvallis was out to make a quick buck hoping we would just let them “assemble and install” the cargo box.This was not the experience I was hoping for being new to Volvo, I will be looking a different service department to complete any ongoing maintenance of my new Volvo

Had to look up the service bulletins for all of my issues to make sure I was covered under warranty and not getting the shaft. They did Fix the Volvo but refused to fix the rat nest it picked up sitting on their lot waiting for service. You cant prove its from here and Thats nature. I even said I would pay for the part the rats destroyed if they would give me a deal on it and install it. I now drive to PDX or just do any service myself.

I worked with Josh Jackson to purchase a vehicle yesterday. I wanted to say that it was a phenomenal experience. I explained what I needed to make the deal work, and he made it happen. I was shocked by the fact there was zero pressure to upsell me on other products I didnt want. Great group of people to work with. If you are buying a new or used car ask for Josh and he will take care of you.

Really disappointed in my expereinece with this company. We set up an appointment weeks in advance to see a car that was advertised before it had been shipped in. We requested Costco pricing and they assured us they offered it, but would never send us the cost breakdown even after asking three times. When we came in from out of town, they pulled the car around which was filthy, and still wrapped in plastic, so we could not even see it properly -mind you, they had a week to get it ready.Once we sat down to see the cost breakdown, they still were fumbling through papers and going back and forth on answers to our questions. We never did get a cost, and finally they admitted they had not been honest and do not offer Costco pricing. We walked out. I decided to write my first review, to let others know.This was sincerely an awful experience.

My experience with them was amazing. This was my second car I bought from them and the service was awesome. Joy Johnson is so friendly, polite, very helpful to be around. She went out of her way to help me get the best deal for my budget. I recommend her and the whole place to anyone who is looking for a car. They all work with you and do their best to make sure you leave happy. I also want to give Kudos to Richard who detailed my car before I left the lot. Thanks Richard! Love my Volvo and the buying process great but the service department leaves something to be desired. I was scheduled a week out for a headlight bulb and was told there are no loaner vehicles. I expect more and would love to buy another Volvo but won’t because this is the only local dealer and the service department need to get it together.

I just got my oil changed here for the first time, and it was a great experience! It was affordable, quick, and they did a fantastic job washing my car and vacuuming the interior. They werent pushy and didnt try to hustle me on the 1 or 2 things my car needs fixing. Will be coming back here to service my husbands car and for all subsequent oil changes :)

Service twice missed major issues with my car that stranded me and cost me quite a bit to deal with. Some of the mechanics were friendly and helpful but some made a few condescending statements to me when I’ve tried to ask for details about my service. I’ll be finding a Volvo mechanic out of town in the future.

Updated review, 6/14/2017:This dealership is as sleazy as they come. Id had service done on a vehicle last year and was happy with their service department, but the sales guys lied straight to my face when I went recently to look at a new car!Monte G. Riddle, Google him; hes the sales guy that I spoke with first. Schmoozed the whole time, showed me cars that were the opposite of what I was interested in because they were bad ass or sexy. I go on a test drive with him, and afterward he takes my picture with the car. Cheesy, but whatever. He had been nice so far and I didnt want to be rude.Anyway, we go to a desk inside to talk about the car. I tell him I am *not buying a car today*, but that Id like a printout of information on it. He offers to give me an estimate of how much Id pay per month if I used their financing, says its something everyone does. Im a first-time car buyer, so I didnt know any different. I said sure, but ONLY IF ITS A SOFT INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT. I dont want to buy a car today, this better not hurt my credit! He said it was a soft inquiry, and that it would not show up on my credit report, no problem. Sure enough, the damn credit check showed up on my report as a hard inquiry! Monte Riddle LIED TO MY FACE.I called to speak to the manager once I saw my report, Ken. He said oops, well talk to Monte and try to correct this. He didnt know how Monte didnt know this, since they do it all the time when trying to sell a car. I told him that I wasnt trying to buy a car, and he says they often do it anyway to change peoples minds. Really??A week goes by, and I call again. Ken says hes still working on it, hell give me a call back later that day. Here I am, another week passed, STILL no call from Ken. Another liar!I will NEVER buy a car from Keifer, and I will NEVER get service there again. Do not trust them, especially not Monte G. Riddle or Ken!2016 review for service on Volvo S40:Paid less than quote, and they fixed the problems with my car instead of just replacing parts. Shop time is cheaper here than at Eugene dealership. Workmanship was great. Will be back.

I have purchased several vehicles over the last few years from Keifer Nissan. It is usually painless, but still requires you to sit for hours in a car lot, which I loathe. I must say that our Sales person Joy Johnson was AMAZING. She didnt pressure me in any way and was extremely personable and actually fun to chat with. In fact, the process was so fun me and my wife decided to come in 2 days later and buy another car from her. Again, the second time was super easy and even more fun! She has two customers for life!

If I could give 0 stars I would. The service department is complete garbage. We brought in my Volvo because it has been burning oil & was making funny noises, and upon arrival told them that we changed the oil ourselves just 2 weeks ago so it was basically an appointment for a diagnosis. The guy at the desk was very unfriendly right away, and after 2+ hours of waiting, told us we owe $150 for an oil change and diagnosis. We told him that we didn’t ask for an oil change and weren’t going to pay for it, he then refused to give us the keys back and said that this what our appointment was scheduled for so we have to pay. Reluctantly we paid him and as we were walking out the door he muttered “Must be nice to be priveleged.” I looked at my boyfriend shocked and said “Wtf kind of place is this”, after we were out the door. He then proceeded to follow us out and ask me what I said, I told him and he continued to follow me and harass me as I am literally in my car.He was extremely hostile and angry and not someone who should be working in customer service whatsoever. The fact that they would do things to my car without notifying us was unprofessional and I feel absolutely robbed of time and money.If you can go anywhere else, do it. This place is garbage.

Joy Johnson was exactly that...a joy! I arrived on a rainy Friday night a half hour after closing (long story) and Joy never even led on that she was on her way out the door for the evening. I had been dealing with salesmen and test drives and negotiations for a week and a half.I was determined to get a great deal and a great car. Joy helped my husband and I from the start in a wonderful authentic caring way. She listened well. She was terrific on the test drive.She was informed, humorous and not pushy or overbearing. She simply helped us in OUR process. After making our decision she had our new vehicle waiting in pristine condition,she put gas in the car, new batteries for our remotes,reset the time difference on the clock, programmed our car to our phone and followed up the next following days to make sure all was well. Joy is the type of salasmamm that any dealership should be lucky to have.Additionally the finance dept was easy to work with as well. Now, with that said, I would like to comment that the building/property itself leaves a bit to be desired.Cmon guys, its time to upgrade and lastly...the flat screen TV turned up while the basketball game was on as well as the stereo competing over the ceiling speakers was annoying and difficult to carry on a business conversation that entailed the exchange and conditions of thousands of dollars...whose idea was that? Joy, I would come buy a car from you anytime!

Took two weeks and hundreds of dollars for them to determine I had a heater hose leak which I already knew and told them about going in. After the two weeks and 3 hours of labor at $135 an hour not including parts they determined the head gasket was blown. During the whole process they made me feel like a burden when I had questions, not to mention pretzels and other food crumbs were left in my vehicle after the work had been done. To top it all off, when I told them I didnt want to pay their outrageous quote for the new head gasket they told me I had only a couple days to get my car off the lot.Employees worked with: Bobby and Volvo technician Joe

We drove all the way down from Olympia, WA on a whim one day to look at a car we saw on the website. The staff was incredibly professional when we called mid-journey just to make sure the car was still available. Once we got there, Joy handed us off to Zac because he happened to know more about the car we were interested in. Zac was SUPER nice and kept us entertained while we waited on the tedious finance paperwork that comes with all new car purchases. This was really a refreshing car buying experience compared to the other ~8 cars I have purchased, and I can definitely say it was worth the 3-hour car trip.

Cancelled last minute (called on our way down) on oil change that was booked online two weeks in advance. We had tried calling to make appointment, but could never get through. Very, very unprofessional. Talked to Herzog Volvo in Portland and they will be getting us in on Saturday . Herzog will always have our business. I was just looking at the reviews and the owner is only responding to the positive reviews - perhaps that is part of the problem. The legitimate negative reviews need to be addressed so the issues can be resolved.

Yesterday evening my girlfriend and I had an appt for service at Volvo of Corvallis, we were told that we would have arrangements for transportation upon our arrival. We waited for more than an hour before or salesmen asked to take us to the store, at this point out car was almost done we were charged 100$ for labor while the car was only worked on for maybe 15 min. The “gentlemen” helping became aggressive and visibly upset shaking at points when we told him we didn’t want to pay for unauthorized work in our vehicle. Upon our arrival I told him with his coworker standing very close in proximity that the car had been low on oil two times in since it was last changed here at Volvo of Corvallis, I had put 80$ oil in it right before taking it in and I just needed a new filter. He claimed that the oil was black even though he wasn’t there to observe it. As we reluctantly paid $155 for an “oil change” and “diagnostic” he muttered as we were leaving “it must be nice to be privileged”, as my girlfriend said “wtf” he then proceeded to follow us outside the dealership and began to harass my girlfriend, I didn’t become involved solely because of the level of stress and anger this man had already displayed during a prior conversation, not wanting to press the issue any longer or escalate the situation myself I decided I would not the confront this man who is now outside the dealership and within inches from my girlfriend who is standing in her car door. I hope the owner of the dealership sees this and begins to make things right because I’m sure there is cameras and cameras that got footage of this incredibly unprofessional costumers service we were provided with as well and legal negligence as the employee was seen visibly frustrated and attempting to intimidate my girlfriend.

On June 25th, my power windows stopped working. I took the car to my mechanic who correctly diagnosed the problem as a bad door module. He said the dealer needed to program it. I scheduled an appointment with Volvo on June 28th. They cancelled that appointment and rescheduled for July 2nd.Surprise, Surprise its the door module. They didnt have the part. The part arrived on the 5th of July. They said they could not get me in until the 16th. My car is still there. So here I am 3 weeks in and they cant fix my damn car!UPDATE: Car still in shop 7/24UPDATE: Car still in shop 7/31

I dropped my car off to the Kiefer Volvo dealer in Corvallis on Friday, October 6th and the entire staff was in a team meeting. As I sat in the waiting area for the meeting to conclude, the GM (Ken Nelson) got my attention when I heard him inform the team that they could dress up next week for Halloween, but cautioned them not to show up crazy in costumes that would be offensive to other groups. and to be thoughtful and respectful during the celebration. Meaning - dont come in here sideways. I was impressed as about 75% of the staff were male who received that direction with some lightweight banter, but respectfully. I thought - who is that guy, i have a job for him. Hearing the leadership espouse the values of the dealership let me know that many of us are delivering the right message to their teams. In addition, i have to say that the customer service was on-point . Kudos to Kiefer!

So back when they were doing a sale and had they outside people come in i was treated poorly and was pretty upset. Im changing my one star back to a 5 like it originally was. Ken and Scott are pretty much the most amazing people. My family is going through an extremely rough time right now and unfortunately desperate time calls for desperate mesures. So i called Ken up yesterday explaned my situation and him and Scott where on it. They fought for me and got me into the best deal they chould with lower payments. Im so thankful for them. I needed someone to help fight my battles with me and thats what they did. Ken is like family member lol this is my third car ive brought from them ill never go to anyone else ever.
