The staff is great and the location is easy to get to aside from the horrible concrete of circle dr. My issue is that their selection is extremely limited- even before the pandemic. They only carry popular stuff, so if you want to create something, or find a way to not spend a fortune, this is not the place for you.

We love shopping at Home Depot. I needed replacement slats for a bedroom blind. I was fully prepared with my slat that needed to be replaced. A very young man assisted me quickly and in less than 10.min my order was complete.

Ordered two of the same item to be delivered to the store, only one showed up at first with no estimated arrival for the second. Drove an hour to pick up the first one, a couple days later got an email notifying us the second one arrived. Called to confirm it was there and then drove another hour to be informed it wasn’t in stock and wouldn’t be until Monday. Literally got told that whoever told us over the phone that it arrived probably didn’t check and just assumed based on the notice they sent us. Looking forward to driving another hour on Monday and never shopping there again.

Moving our son to college we forgot his ac unit. The staff at this Home Depot went out of their way to find an ac window unit and brought down a pallet to get it for us. Great service!

We bought a freezer from the Corvallis home depot, and lost hundreds of dollars in food when it stopped working four months later. Home Depot said to call Frigidaire. Frigidaire took almost 4 weeks to send a repairman. The repairman looked at the freezer, said he didnt have the parts needed to repair it, and couldnt even provide an estimate of how long it would take to repair the freezer. When we went to the Corvallis Home Depot to ask for a replacement, the assistant manager (Nate) was openly hostile, and made it clear that this is not their problem to solve. What good is a brick and mortar store when customer service is worse than mail order?

My go-to store for all DIY home repairs and fix-ups! Customer service is fantastic and prices are very competitive. They are open until 10pm so thats a huge bonus, as well.

Ordered 100 Boxes on Sunday morning at 2am with delivery. Boxes arrive 7 hours later at 9am. Holy cow! Well done.

Dont order anything that needs to be delivered. They use a 3rd party company that can refuse or deny delivery. We had to rent a trailer and take 4 hours to get the item we paid delivery for after this company refused and denied our delivery. The management at the Corvallis store is terrible and lied about a breakdown, then changed the story four times. We waited until late at night and over a week delay to find out that this company can deny or refuse this. They have NO customer service anymore NO person had the decency to ask if we needed help They walk around the store on their phones texting talking to other associates. I watched for 40 minutes while waiting in line being forced into the scan your own line. No more Home Depot we Will go elsewhere.

They have what you need if you have looked it up and know what isles to look on. It is very rare to get any customer service here without hunting down a sales representative to ask. Then most of them dont even know their own dept.

I had a problem with an online order but this HD in Corvallis really went above and beyond to fix the issue (and it really had nothing to do with them except that I chose this store for shipment site.) Was in home depot to get a few tools and ended up going home, tearing up my kitchen floor, and redoing it myself. Im not sure what came over me. Some power that home depot has on the soul. I cant stop doing renovations on my house. Im only 22 I cant turn into a dad now

The Home Depot in Corvallis Or is not currently following Oregon mask requirements. At 2 pm on August 24th I saw 4 people, 3 men and 1 woman not wearing masks. When I asked the manager, Andrew about store policy he stated that they could ask customers to wear masks but not require it.

Not requiring masks when local ER full of Delta patients. People walking around without masks, employees with masks off noses. Manager said can’t require masks even though Governor’s mandate right now. When told we would report the the store, his retort was, “Go ahead”. Such disrespect for communities health. People who don’t have Covid have to be in line for those beds too.

Its Home Depot standard good for in store. Would not recommend home services as their selected contractors as they are not regulated, controlled, or reliable. Home Depot does guarantee the work will get done, just have to keep going back to the store project supervisor to get the job finished.

This is a nice Home Depot. I really like the layout, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Its tucked away behind Safeway so it can be tricky to find though.

Decent visit. Sure would be nice if Home Depot would go back to the way the associates would approach customers in the aisles, asking if they need any help, and in a friendly manner.Bought some odd designed replacement bulbs for a bath vanity install, and could have used a little help finding the ones (bought 3) necessary.Even the sales associate at the check out wasnt positive if they were the correct replacements with UG bases/correct wattage/etc. or not.(Nothing against him.)I have noticed for the LONGEST time now, Home Depot employees dont engage the customers the way they once did. Its a shame. If I shop there, I do so knowing ahead of time I most likely wont get the help/assistance/knowledge I might need, and to know EXACTLY what it is I need for my job on hand. Asked where the Non-Slip Tape was and was told aisle 2 and walked right to it. In and out of the store in 5 minutes. Great store and friendly helpful people.

DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR FLOORS. I paid them $15k to put wood floors in my house. They said it would take 4 days. We are now on day 11 and there is no end in sight. They dont show up for work. They miss every deadline. And if you call to complain, they hang up on you. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Ive lost thousands of dollars now in extra rent and days taken off work. Spend the extra money to hire someone competent and honest.UPDATE: On Day 14 of the 4-day job, I got a text at 3:35 am (on a Sunday) from the installers saying the job was done and they were leaving. I went over the next morning to find that there were several pieces of baseboard either missing or broken (pictures below) and they had not reinstalled any of the doors. The job is still not finished.

Went there for corrugated plastic. Asked someone to show me where it was and they pointed in a direction and said what bay it was in. Went there and it wasnt there so we asked another associate where it was and they pointed to the back of the store with the same bay number. Went back there and it wasnt there so we asked a 3rd person who pointed to the other half of the store with the same bay number. Walked to that end which was by the entrance and was told it wasnt there. Found a 4th associate who finally said they would walk us back there and show us. Totally different bay in the middle back of the store. Very irritated that had to walk around the store and ask 4 different people before we were taken there. Will not go back to home depot unless its the only option.

The WORST customer service of my life. Ordered kitchen cabinet. 14 days late already. No one knows anything at store level; say they cant do anything. Tracking system says product within 100 miles for 8 days now. Receive text 9 days ago saying next day delivery last contact. Hang-up on my calls afterwards. Has been 40 miles away for 5 days now. Finally get warehouse there, they say they have been trying to call me (this is the cell phone age with records!!!!!). On Monday I cancel long term important out of town commitment to receive product on Wednesday. Late Wednesday evening; no show. Call warehouse and they say boss bumped it, without calling me, to later in the week. Have had issues before with shipping dept. In-store people very helpful, but will NEVER shop there again after this.

Very disappointed with staff today. I’m 38 weeks pregnant so not much help to my husband for loading anything heavy. I hunted down someone to call for help to get some high boards down with my husband. The employee showed up and cut open the bundle, to a shelf that is just barely in reach. He then walked three yards away to help open the large back door that was stuck to let in 2 other employees, meanwhile a fourth employee shows up. The four stand within 3 yards to my husband talking about the smoke. Meanwhile my husband is awkwardly pulling down 10 foot long boards having to step up onto the bottom shelf in order to reach them. After he finished pulling down the six boards and was standing by the cart, one employee walks over and asks if we need any help... are you kidding me. I then stood by cart as my husband went to grab a few last items. At one point I could count 10 employees standing around only 2 actually doing anything, three did check if I needed any help. We then checked out and purchased 2 large sets of shelving for our garage each box weighed 192 pounds so we purchased them at check out and waited about 30 minutes for them to arrive out to be loaded, brought out by one female employee. Just ridiculous poor service, the store wasn’t even that busy with more employees walking around then customers.

They have some beautiful hanging basket planters this year. Many very nice plants. sometimes its hard for them to keep up with their watering. But overall a good place to find your gardening supplies.

We had a great experience when buying our Christmas tree at the Corvallis Home Depot. Not only did the employees help get the tree onto our car, but they cut off a piece of the trees base and drilled a hole in it so I could make a babys first Christmas tree ornament for my 4-month-old son. The girl who checked us out was equally very friendly, and found us a towel to take with us after my son decided to projectile vomit on me while waiting in line!

She offered multiple solutions and then actually managed to solve the problem in under 30 seconds. So helpful and kind even when I was extremely frustrated. Big kudos to their customer service, and I cannot thank her enough!

NEVER buy the warranties, no matter how hard the sell. Home Depot runs them through a remote office who’s job it is to never provide service. So you are left with a defective product, spent extra on protection and have nothing but frustrations.Better off paying for a repair person.
