Aside from the reason that I ended up here in the first place, Willie and his crew were awesome and made for a great experience. Its not often these days that you go to a business and you feel the combination of honesty and respect towards the customer. The young lady at the front counter (Im sorry, I didnt get her name) was very charming and professional. Willie (Im pretty sure hes the owner) was honest, thorough, and patient in his explanation of the process, possibilities, and the solutions (Im not PC savvy so he had to dumb it down a little and explain most of it twice). He got my machine repaired and back in my hands in exactly the time promised. Ace Computer Service has a great operation and I had a great customer experience. I will definitely recommend them to my family, friends, and coworkers without hesitation!

I cant say enough about the positive experiences Ive had with Ace. They have been taking care of my personal & work computers for years. Ive had them out to my office several times and they are always on-time, professional and able to fix whatever problem Ive had. Ive also dropped off my problems on their desk and they always get me up & running. Just this week I had to get a rush repair done on my sons laptop before he was to set sail on a merchant ship, and Ace understood my concern and had the laptop up and running on time. Ace Computer has been servicing my computer for years. I decided it was time to be replaced and Daryl ordered the tower and monitor and built it in his shop. He delivered it today and installed the new unit and connected all my exterior components. I was on a trip to Mexico videoing surfers with a drone. Are a couple of days I would move the files to my external hard drive. Everything was there until I got back. Its not there now. Thanks to the guys at Ace, they were able to retrieve some of my footage. Thanks Will.

Went in to see if they could get my laptop which had Juice Liquid damage on it repaired or at least see where the damage was. They found that the motherboard was damaged and needed to be replaced which would cost more than what the laptop was purchased for to replaced. In the end I decided not to go through with the repairs but they were fast and very professional in their process and were able to dispose of its battery which was starting to expand.Absolutely would recommend / return to when the time calls for it.

Pricey. They have an up front $50 fee to diagnose your problem which is applied to repair if you proceed. In my case they only had to look at the screen, no disassembly, diagnosed bad screen and quoted a repair price more than the computer was worth even with using used parts. I will not be back.

I brought in to the store my Mac Mini (late 2014 model) for swapping the original HDD with an SSD. The staff were courteous. They also exercised the COVID precautions. I felt comfortable bringing in my computer for service. The work was done well and the charge was reasonable. I will visit them in the future if my computers need service.

I brought in my nieces touchscreen HP to be repaired. The replacement screen was found quickly and at a great price. The work was done quickly and they even did a couple of minor pairs on the house! I would definitely recommend Ace and will come back if I ever need anything again. Thanks Ace.

My laptop had a problem and I came there to repair. A man asked me to pay $ 50 dollars as a fee to test my laptop. Then he asked to know the Card Verification Value (CVV) of my card. I didn’t give him that number; then he got angry. If you have to use their services, please use cash only. Be careful with the information of your credit cards.

Helpful and easy to talk to. They replaced my hard drive in 2 days and the price seemed fair. Very honest about what my options were, and did not seem pushy trying to upsell anything. I will use them again when I have a computer issue.

After having a very bad experience with the bad attitude with Dr. N--- I brought my old school PC tower to Ace and explained my problems. I could not just by a new off the shelf computer because of some old DOS based software that demanded a slower processor that would run Windows 98. Darrell listened and told me my options. I left it for hopeful repair (resurrection. I was expecting days before I heard anything. I got a call the next day and told me that my motherboard is fried. He had and old unit in the back and he put together an almost new computer and install MY hard drive so that I could continue on with my business. He did it very quick and at a very very reasonable price. A+A+A+A+A+A+

I needed to replace the battery in my laptop. I thought it would be easy but I apparently did it wrong. I took it to Geeksquad first, but they came up with excuses to why they couldn’t touch it and then they said it would take over a week. I then took it to Ace, and they identified the problem within an hour! Daryl was great and he didn’t try to overcharge me. I wholeheartedly recommend Ace! They are wonderful!

Im IT admin for Houston based company with sites throughout TX & LA. Contacted Ace on Wednesday to inquire about services. Daryl was more than happy to be tech savvy hands on person at local site. Scheduled appt at 9:00am Thursday and the next morning my phone rang at 8:58am. Ace tech on site inquiring what I wanted done. I explained I need router removed from rack, then give to local office contact to send to me so I could return to vendor. He offered to package and ship directly to vendor which I couldnt pass up. Im sure my local coworker didnt mind not having to deal with it. He even called me later from office to inquire if any paperwork should be included, which it should have and I sent to him at that time. Ill definitely be contacting them again for future service when possible. So much better than my last local tech experience, just thinking of that makes me go AaaaaaaaEeeeee!

I had an excellent experience with these guys they were extremely helpful from the beginning to the end. I brought my computer in at 5P.M. on a friday and they let me know they wouldnt be able to get to it that day die to the fact they were closing but said they would get to it saturday for a few hours. I have a busy work schedule so I couldnt call them after 9A.M., so i called at 8:30A.M. and they answered the phone, and i informed them that i would be bringing in a replacement motherboard because i already suspected it being the issue i was having with my computer. The dedication these guys have to their company really shows because anywhere else if you call before their opening hour they wont even consider answering the phone. This made me very happy. Once they were able to test my board to ensure that it was faulty they called me and gave me a status update and informed me that it was bad and they would begin assembling my computer. When i got the computer the computer they made sure i was happy that it was on and everything there and had me check the wire management they performed. They did 2.5 hours of work which came out to being 150 dollars. They assembled a whole computer and did a professional wire job in 2.5 hours this is such a great deal for anyone who has ever put a computer together. I could not be happier with the service these guys provided. Anyone that is complaining about prices or what have you have never dealt with big computer repair guys like Geek Squad who charge way more and then install sabotage software on your computers. I will recommend these guys to anyone seeking computer help.

I own a 2012 Macbook Pro and decided to upgrade the memory recently and chose Ace Computers. To start, I am not a Corpus Christi native, so did not have any prior knowledge of Ace Computers; only what I had gathered from online reviews. I decided to give this local shop a chance. It was the best decision. The staff was super professional and the charge for the memory upgrade was totally reasonable (I had called other places and had gotten quotes). They use premium components and are complete experts. My experience overall with Ace Computers was terrific. The owner Daryl Vernon was very courteous and professional along with the gentleman who specifically worked on my Macbook. Thank you Daryl, your shop is a gem in the Coastal Bend. I will definitely be going back for any other computer needs and will be referring my colleagues to come here as well instead of traveling to San Antonio or the Rio Grande Valley. Knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy

Been using Ace computer service for years fist time was when the upgraded my 4gb hardrive on my laptop to a 20gb!!! Yep been going there for a long long time. Even when I was in Iraq from 05 to 08 I sent my laptop from over there to Ace and they took care of everything. The latest is my wifes Toshiba speakers kept getting turned off and for some reason it would go into Airplane mode and it became useless. Whats the saying Happy wife Happy life.. Well took it there dropped it off and a few days latter is was ready togo. Most likely it was done the next day but we live a good 45 miles and we have to optimize our trips. The did all the updates and cleaned out all the junk wife says its working Great.One dose not find this type of service very often and when you due your lucky to find a business that wont patch something they Fix it!!!

I took my Toshiba laptop to Ace for service, basically to reload Vista (Satans operating system apparently). Computer techs there were friendly and savvy and after a 2 day turnaround time, I got a call saying my hard drive was toast. I was offered a new 250G hard drive for $99, or a 500G one for $199. (this is my only beef, but I realize its a business and must have a profit margin to stay open). My HD was actually toast, unlike the previous review. I ended up ordering a 250G HD on amazon for a whopping $42, which was cheerfully accepted by the Ace techs (they had no problem installing something I totally got for less than half the price). They installed the HD, reloaded Vista, installed a TON of service pack/updates/adobe/flash, all the annoying stuff that Id take hours to do. To top it off they cleaned the computer, fan, and tweaked my DVD drive that was somehow rubbing the top of the DVDs off. Turnaround time once I dropped my new hard drive off was 2 days. Fast service, and the price was quite reasonable, (Price for Vista reload is around ~$95, which included hard drive install/cleaning), they even offer a military discount on top of that. For a guy whos only moderately software savvy, Id give them my business in the future for such computer disasters.

Staff was friendly...butThey are overpriced. Had to have my laptops operating system reinstalled. Charged 140$ for the reinstallation, a diagnostics run, and a dusting. It also took them 6 days for the work to be completed.**Call around before committing to this place**
