The old brick-brac exterior is replaced with a new “ Shiny red gloss”appearance with cool new spoon door handles. You can tell the DQ executives thought a lot about polishing up the outside to cater to the demands of COVID-19 pandemic by increased drive thru “call to action” signs and designated pick-up areas. The inside redevelopment comes with fancy new Heals.com ribbon lights. Kid friendly Pop Art covers the inside walls leading to modern Freestyle Coca-Cola fountains. The seating upholstery is designed like a red Channel inspired purse. Fine DQ embroiderd napkins complete your Treat order.Now on the negative “Flip Side” I don’t understand why the executives overlooked the bathrooms. As Joe Biden would say..... “Come on Man !!! “ I might have given them a 5 star but the dark lackluster bathrooms remain ugly and stuck in the 70”s. Hopefully some upgrades are coming soon. I will include a bathroom light concept in the pictures for a conversation starter. Cheers !
UPDATE: Being the flagship restaurant for DQ, this location often features the newest corporate development (HQ is just down the road). It has recently undergone another remodel with a more modern feel. The style is not as warm as the previous design, but if you like a more sterile, modern feel, you’ll feel at home.Clean restaurant with prompt, courteous service. This location offers both food and dessert, including numerous ice cream cake options.If you’re looking for quality ice cream, you can find much better in the metro area. Four stars is a stretch based on the copious amount of artificial ingredients.If you’re splurging, it’s not a bad option for an infrequent visit.
Ordered through the curbside app to save time. Confirmation screen and email both directed us to join the drive through line -- which was at least 20 cars.Upon arriving at window, staff could not locate our order until a manager got involved. Servers mask pulled way down as he explained the curbside process to us -- completely different than the instructions in the email and the signage.Placed order at 9:16pm. Received ice cream at 950pm. Blizzards melting. Will definitely not return. Small local, ice cream shops provide much better service.
If you love ranch, you will love the ranch specifically from this Dairy Queen. I am not around many Grill & Chill locations - many dont serve food even. But a $6 Box Meal of Chicken Tenders with a side of ranch is my go to. I dont really give a thought about the ice cream, although I still buy it and eat it readily. Everyone who works there in the past month Ive been in the area housesitting, have been absolute babes. It is easy to get to from the highway. Bonus: Its open all year long!!

This is a great place for dessert. The soft-serve ice cream was just the right temperature and the other treats we got were made correctly and were delicious.
My Turtle Pecan blizzard was melted by the time I got it. I was for sure done 10 minutes too early. I should have asked the to remake it, but there was long line in the drive thru. Go to another DQ with better quality control.
This is your typical Dairy Queen. They have decent soft serve and fast food dinner options. They are always super friendly at the drive through. We always seem to get the same gentleman and hes so kind.
Ice cream was as expected, though they dont have crunch cones at this location.There was what looked like a sewer backup in the parking lot, so they should get that looked at. Also saw a person hit someones car in the lot. Other person was not there, could have been a workers car.

Absolutely love Dairy Queen, but this visit was a disappointment. This location discontinued the crunch cone. Then when ordering the pecan cluster blizzard they were out of pecans. So, went with the thin mint blizzard, which was very good, but after two strikes again, drove away a bit disappointed. Definitely will come back, but hopefully they will be fully stocked to support the menu.
Waited in line for 20 mins then left. 15 cars total. You lost my business.

Lobby is randomly closed, so if you do an online order for inside pick up youre still forced to wait 20 minutes in the drive-thru line. Not sure why I frequent here, I think theyve only ever had my order right one time. Dont expect to get the sauces you ordered, or the drink you ordered, or even a drink sometimes. Worst part is if they mess up your order youll likely need to wait another 20 minutes in the drive-thru, because again...the doors to the restaurant are likely locked.
Drive-thru line was long, but its an ice cream place in July, so I get it. However when we finally got to the window the Choco Extreme blizzards were made with vanilla, AND THEY WERE MELTED. They couldnt do the upside-down schtick because they would have poured out onto the pavement outside the window.We also ordered the BBQ chicken strips and regular strips. The gravy things for a 6 pc are TINY and there is no way its enough for a 6 pc. Also asked for ranch with the BBQ. No ranch. They gave us knives, but no forks. And everything was cold. We ate because we were starving. Didnt complain at the window for the blizzard puddles because the wait was already so long it was insane.All-in-all I am disappointed because I used to really love the strips and gravy. Now not so much.

Love the mobile ordering. They were fairly prompt only had to wait a few minutes. The blizzards are lacking in the ingredients department. Got an Oreo blizzard and the top was good....last 3/4 was pretty much vanilla soft serve.
I love love Dairy Queen but the prices are a little high for what you get in my opinion. The taste is delicious though so you cant argue with that. I had an Oreo Blizzard yesterday and I already want another one today.

Sat in this line for 30 minutes for 2 tenders and a fry.... this is ridiculous people shouldn’t have to wait their whole lunch break in the line before even paying.
Worst service ever I came in for take out they could care less the only thing they cared about was that drive thru totally got ignored no one would take my order im sure other buisnesses wouldnt mind taking my money cause they could obviously care less about and I tried to speak to a manager and all she had was excuses there was more then 2 people working she tried to say there wasnt but that drive thru was more important
Opened to75% capacity according to our awsome gov. Only open for take out. Place poorly kept clean every garbage can is full. Floor is sticky. No paper towels to dry your hands. Felt like I was at a Northside dairy queen not a edina dairy queen. Wont be comming back to this location.
Food was good but they didnt add the condiments or plastic ware. When all youre doing is drive thru you need to remember to do this.
So the drive thru was insanely busy (everybody else in town must have had the same idea), but after downloading the app and picking up Curbside to go it really was quite flawless. Everyone should be doing that! My peanut buster parfait was delicious!

Most disappointing location on the planet..usually. except on the day this pic was taken. Besides very soft soft serve, was a nice treat. More often than not, they are out of what is advertised as limited time treats like cotton candy blizzard. And most recently theyve apparently gotten rid of crunch coating permanently. A staple for 50 years. Thanks for the perpetually disappointing experiences, corporate headquarters training location, DQ .

I was very pleased with the speed of service, and its so nice that they offer a pup cup for my dog. She is with us most of the time so its nice if they offer a choice for her too.
They have a lot of teenagers working there who dont know much. This location is always out of everything. Level of service here is not that great at this particular location. I would highly suggest whoever does the ordering make sure that this location is fully stocked. There always out of most items.

I love Dairy Queen. This Dairy Queen was my “go to” location because it was dependable.Unfortunately that is no longer the case. My last few blizzards have not been adequately mixed. There is nothing worse than getting to the last half of a blizzard to only have just vanilla ice cream. Especially when I order a large.Moreover, the wait times have been unacceptable lately. I went through the drive thru one busy night only to be there for more than 30 minutes. I am not exaggerating. I got to the window only to see a group of kids talking and a very frustrated adult making blizzards tirelessly.Even the curb side is slow. I waited more than 15 minutes for two blizzards when the drive thru was not busy.Things have gone downhill for this DQ during the pandemic.

Line was really long and when I ordered I ordered to medium blizzards and ended up getting one medium and 1 small. I was too mad when seeing it to even say anything because I had already waited in line and didnt wanna hold the lineup just to get the correct blizzard. Please pay more attention to what people order and repeat the orders back to them to make sure you get it right.
I go to this superb place many times since I love the special air that is part of this place. The personel is exceptionally welcoming and experienced. The service is certainly fast. Needless to say, the food they serve is magnificent. I have been there more than once and I was always satisfied. The expense is reasobable. I highly suggest this place to all my friends.

Inconsistent quality. Bought New York Cheese cake shake and Tiramisu Cake shake. Cake pieces were missing in the shake and they were not all melting. Not shaked at all. Earlier the same outlet and other outlets made it well.
Chili hot dogs are good, and the kids love coming here. great dessert obviously. this location specifically is very nice and clean.

Being in Minnesota I was shocked to see a Dairy Queen. Even though I was trying to stick to more local food places, I had to check it out to see how it compared. This Dairy Queen was really clean and good. Comparing it to Texas Dairy Queens of course. The burger, fries and sundae were just as good as my Texas Dairy Queen.

Bought a 6pc chicken strip basket and a side of onion ring through drive thru.. came out with only 4 pcs of chicken strips. call them multiple times to tell them that they messed up, no answers...

We stopped here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to see there was a salad option on the menu (BLT chicken salad) We didnt expect it to be so delicious! They forgot to put tomatoes in my salad, so I asked the young lady named Natalie, who brought our food to our table, if I could get some and she brought them out right away with a smile :)
The service here is always fast and the food always hot and tasty. Prices are pretty good, and the food - the chicken and waffles are my favorite - ate surprisingly high quality for fast food. Blizzards are, of course, great
I had been here to order birthday cake for my friends daughter. There were Numerous customization options available. I really loved the look and taste of the cake. Try the ice cream cake here. Staff was very friendly and considered all my expectations and suggested multiple options.
Very slow service. I know it was lunch time when I drove thru and im okay with waiting a bit longer but when my blizzards came out the tops where melted and my order was missing an item. Will try this location again, might have just been one of those days that the kitchen was behind.
Its extremely rare that Ill write a negative review about anything, but the utter lack of organization and task distribution I witnessed today was astonishing. While the restaurant was indeed experiencing a minor surge in customers, more than a dozen Ive cream orders sat waiting to be picked up, melting on the shelf. My simple order of a single basket of French fries took more than 20 minutes to fill, and people who entered the building much later than I were getting served combo baskets sooner.

Ordered a strawberry cheese quake, had no cheese cake in it, told the person at the window it had no cheese cake in it, told me it has cheesecake powder which it didnt and isnt supposed to, then said sorry have a nice night. Just absolute bs.

I take my grandson here weekly. Always great food and excellent service. I actually appreciate that they hire people for their first jobs. The hired a neighbor boy and hes doing an excellent job.

This location is better than others. Expecially, when it comes to friendliness, clarity, or order correctness. Not sure if its still true, but this location used to have an orange Julius as well.
