I came here as my first choice for Auto service but after seen the unhappy staff. A silent worker who chose to ingnore my presence, another want complaining about his day to another customer, and a third individual, who had the aptitude of a lazy supervisor since the other two at least were working on their computers or pretending I not so sure no more. I decided to go elsewhere. I Saers misfortune is impacting their staff but this will only bring less business and more suffering for those impacted employees! Good luck Sears. I am deeply sorry to see you fall like this!

I went today to get a battery. I got down and as soon I went in the guy in charge of the batteries is already telling me from across the room to go outside and he will take care of it in a kind of rude way. Not even a welcome how can we help you. Ok so I go outside and get in the lane for battery services and I’m waiting for an hour meanwhile the guy is working on a car. I get down again to ask the two employees inside if anyone else can help. One of the them took a little while to acknowledge me and said only that one guy was able to help. I told them I just need to swap the battery and get charged as it was not the battery for my current car. I’ve been waiting for a long time now. Then one of the them is just like well life is about experiences. What the heck! N there was no other customers. No customer service and no team work from what I see! I left the place. I wasn’t going to leave my money there. They obviously don’t care about customer service. Zero stars for me!

I went today to check status on my die hard battery, which it was OK after the electronic check they did but the customer service agent told me that it was possible the starter instead I ask how much would it be to fixed it & for a rebuild one installed on my 21 years old truck was only $579 + tax 😕

Unfortunately what was supposed be an easy task became a waste of time. I ordered tires through Amazon and the tires were sent to this location by the seller for pick up and installation. And the person at the front Desk (Gabriel) make my grandfather wait and return for second time ( for tires that they had and were paid) just because he couldnt find and order on his computer. ( He will never find it, because we were supposed to pay for the installation on site) obviously they dont need this job. Thanks to another employee there we were able to retrieve OUR tires and we will bring them to our regular little corner shop were they really appreciate some work and some cash.

My brother took his Toyota Highlander in for a quick oil change. Sears Auto Center initially said the estimate was $1000 (for diagnostics ($90) and to replace fuses for check engine light among other “fixes”), then they reduced estimate to $670 (that’s when I got on the line) and final bill was $329. Absolute scam. Stay away and go to a trustworthy mechanic. These guys are not up front or honest. Zero stars would be the more accurate rating.

Had a nail in my tire and went to Sears Auto Servíce for help at 5pm. The shop doesn’t close till 6pm yet they refused to help me and told me they were too busy. The tone and manner that it was done was very unprofessional. Robert was the service advisor and another adviser kept on saying how busy they were and couldn’t take anymore customers even though I was willing to wait since I needed help and it’s a hazard to drive with a nail in the tire. I will not come back to this shop nor recommend it to others.

Been coming here for decades and witnessed the steady decline in customer service as of recently.Both times I dealt with a guy named Pedro who frankly turned me away from doing business here where I went to Walmart and got a much better deal on 4 new tires with out all the attitude.This time my experience was not much different:I got stuck with Pedro again; food on his desk with dirty napkins ontop of customers paperwork, he was on his phone handling personal text messages the entire time he was trying to sell me on other services, he was not wearing a facial mask and struggled to find it and place it on, never once acknowledged me directly and makes the customer feel like they are a burden to him to deal with us -No thank you, I do not want ANY other services here - ever.You have lost a lifetime household of business.You simply can not be this unprofessional in this day and age and expect to retain business.Consumer be warned.

Being going there for over 10 years. The staff is like an extended family to me. Theyre always looking out for my car and me. If I need to get something done they tell me. If Im thinking I need something and I really dont they tell me as well. I have a lot of trust in them. They use quality brands as well. For synthetic oil changes they use Mobil One. The alignments there are awesome. The mechanics have a lot of experience with different cars. My favorite shop for all my cars.

Ive been going to this Sears Auto for years for various cars and theyve always been great. Super kind techs, they always try to find me the best solution while keeping my budget in mind, and they will honor taking a 2nd look at something for free if its something that should have been fixed properly the first time. I always recommend this location! Its not always super fast, but the work is done properly.

I called Saturday afternoon to make an appointment for today, I was on the phone on hold for almost 15min. Since I was 2 blocks away I just decidedly to hang up the phone and go in person. I was 30 min late for my appointment today which turn into 2 hours waiting just to balance and rotate the wheels of my car. Long story short service there is a pain you really don’t want to go through. There’re some guys there that they definitely do know what they are doing but overall is not worth it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Check what the mechanic did with my interior, grease can be wipe off with some expensive cleaners if it is plastic, vinyl or leather,but how do you take it off from fabric?

On New Years eve, as I was leaving work my car lost all power and stalled out, was able to make it to an adjacent parking lot nearby. They were closing at 5 and it was about 4:15, they were incredibly helpful. They brought a portable battery charger and I was able to drive it over to the garage. When I went home and started reading the reviews, I was prepared for what might come next. The next morning , which was New Years Day, the technician called me @9:30, to advise it needed a new alternator. The national average for an alternator repair for my vehicle was between 350 and 850 according to various car repair websites. I was charged below the average and my car was ready by 2 pm that afternoon. I see many 1 and 2 star reviews, mainly referring to wait times and a few repair issues. My experience was far different and was incredibly impressed.

All I can say is: the one star reviews here are being too nice. My wheel cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced - they took 5.5 hours to install a DEFECTIVE cylinder. I went back 3 days later, made an appointment, and they took 6.5 hours after claiming it should be relatively quick. If they would’ve told me it would take a while, I’d understand and would make appropriate plans. But they lied and didn’t take responsibility. And never an apology from anyone. They’re lucky Google doesn’t have 0-star reviews. Mark is an especially terrible person who doesn’t respect customers. He seems uneducated and I’d be surprised if he could get a job anywhere outside of Sears Auto Center. Also, I’m not sure what the service manager does there besides deflecting blame.Run away from here as fast you can.

What a colossal waste of time the coupons are good but not worth the time I spent three hours for an oil change and I only had one car in front of me I went in at 9 a.m. and left at 12 p.m. after all that weight they didnt reset the computer its still settled change they didnt even put a sticker on the windshield saying when is my next oil change and when I asked him for one he said and roughly 3000 miles okay let me just put that in my mind book so I remember got to be kidding me and then there was the lady next to me that had to get her car fixed and when they gave her the obscenely expensive price she said she had to think about it and speak with her husband and the guy went from nice two extremely rude and told her that she had to make a quick decision because he couldnt wait all day mind you this was in the morning and hes an employee that supposed to be there till 5 p.m. and he cant wait all day thats a big No-No in my book

Did not appreciate your managers rude disposition in discussing a dispute with customers.had an appointment for a 49.99 oil change. If you dont have that oil and need to substitute another oil, make it clear that you shall not do the oil change at that price (only at the higher price with the different, higher grade oil).Manager did a good job, otherwise.Employee was calm, generally helpful and handled my complaint well, up to the very end. If youre going to say that my complaint is ridiculous because Im talking about a $10 to $12 difference in price, either offer to pay that difference yourself or maybe dont say anything at all.

I recommend this place if you like to be treated like garbage. I’m disappointed that management and Sears has not addressed the extremely poor level of customer service at this auto center. Except for one poor guy who was overwhelmed with people at his register, the rest of the front staff and the battery technician were right down unprofessional. No people skills, complaining about the job in front of customers. Talking down to customers, and on a defensive tone no matter what the situation especially when it didn’t warrant it. The “not my problem / not my job” theme was very apparent. The majority of the staff I dealt with acted as if they were bothered by their job. And to think what these Sears auto places used to be like 5-10 years ago. Never had a problem in the Doral location (now closed), which is the only reason I came to this one. Looks like you closed the wrong one Sears. And at this rate this one won’t be open for long. Either.

Stay away from this place! They changed my tires and they didnt screw them back in when I was driving away!!!! They call me to tell me it was ready, they offered me their premium alignment , the most expensive and premium because they have the latest technology. I said no. I went to my car and when driving it away I hear some loud cracks. Sounded like wheels not screwed but nah... not possible. Move a few feet and again. Long story short... the mentally challenge mechanic didnt screwed the wheels, the bolts were loose and the wheel was about to come off of my BMW. Imagine the damage! They came quick to resolve it and they placed the jack in the wrong spot and the entire edge of the BMW came out. I have never been in a place with such a illiterates!

Despicable service. Three months ago my wife bought 4 new tires for her car at a price of $180 per unit. Today one of the tires was flat. She went back there to claim the warranty. The clerk, and later the manager, refused to honor the warranty adducing that the tire was damaged because of a hit. In other words, these two men (with the stereotypical macho attitude of an auto repair shop) basically spent a good half an hour telling my wife that she was lying. The manager even told her that thats what happen when you install low cost tires. New tires are suppose to give peace of mind for at least two years. In this case, after three months a new tire was completely unusable. Either Sears Coral Gables mounted old tires as new in our car or these $180 per unit tires are of the worst quality. This place has lost two clients today, and I hope they will lose many more. I will make sure to tell all my relatives and acquaintances how terrible Sears Auto Center in Coral Gables is.

I have come to Sears many times because my tires were insured through them. Every time was an extremely long wait even with an appointment and often they forgot about my car and only got to it after I tried and asked about it after I had been there for hours. When I went to get an oil change it took 4 hours with an appointment and when I got my car back the check engine light was on. Also when I got a flat tire and they patched the tire, it became flat again less than a week later and I went elsewhere to get it replaced. Also they often tried to take advantage of me and recommended services that I did not need because I do not know a lot about cars. I will not be returning again.

This is the workplace of some of the most incompetent mechanics in South Florida. I strongly advise everyone NOT to take your vehicle here! If you dont believe me, just read the other reviews.Shortly after I visited this Sears Auto Center an oil light, which I have never seen before, came on. I took my car to a nearby mechanic. He quickly realized that my car had no oil. He was shocked that I didnt destroy my engine. He immediately asked me when I had my last oil change and explained that this issue was caused by human negligence.I called Sears to speak to the manager. Little good that did; he accused me of making assumptions and demanded that I bring my car back to Sears.Long story short, due to carelessness on the part of Sears mechanics, my engine couldve been ruined. Dont risk the life of your vehicle with these inadequate amateurs.

Ive rented a car to move from Miami to San Diego and had some minor problems with the tires before leaving Miami. Took it to Sears for service and I had a very difficult time with the rental company approving the work. Jerry Solis went above and beyond to make sure that everything gets fixed quick and efficient. Im very disappointed. I bought 4 tires at Amazon and paid for the installation at Sears Auto Center at Coral Gables. I made an appointment for 2:00 pm, I arrived at 2:10 pm and they just started working on the car at 4:12 pm. I dont know what they did, but they broke 3 bolts in 2 wheels. They charged me almost $ 200 to replace the 3 bolts and would not allow me to go out with the car without doing the service with them. The odd thing is that the car next my car also had 2 bolts broken by them and talking to the owner of the other car we found the same situation strange in two cars that had no problem until they started the service. A lot of coincidence ...

I brought my car in because the brakes were making a noise. I was helped out right away and the technician Alejandro showed me what the problem was. He gave me a couple options and also his recommendation to fix the issue. Long story short, not only did I go with his recommendation, he also fixed a mistake that a different shop made. Ive been taking my car to him ever since. Sears in Coral Gables has made a new customer and I highly recommend Alejandro as your technician.

Sears Auto Center in Coral Gables is by far one of the worst and unprofessional service centers I have ever been to. I have taken my company car there 5 times and every time was a serious hassle. This very last time was the last time I will go there, I do not recommend anyone going there, the wait is long and they don’t even acknowledge you when you enter or even apologize for the wait. They don’t fully check the vehicle so they only fix what you tell them to, they don’t even address the other problems that maybe indicating on the dash board, I picked up my vehicle when they said it was good to go and yet they never did the oil change or see why my tire pressure was low, they only changed the battery mount post and didn’t even replace the complete wire that was old and corroded. When I point that out I don’t even get an apology but instead the guy talking down to me telling me that I never told them to check that, very rude and unprofessional. I will never go back.

Worse experience everI am shocked and appalled by the experience I had at such at an establishment with the Sears name. Not only was there a lack of customer service, but the level of discrimination and misogynism made me compelled to write this complaint so that the public be informed of such hideous business practices. This occurred on Saturday, April 27th when I took my BMW to the Sears Auto Services located at 3655 SW 22 Court in Miami Florida. At arriving to the location, I had informed the clerk to please let the mechanic know that the tire pressure for the front and back tires would need to be adjusted once the tires are rotated since BMWs guidelines as marked on the sticker from the door panel clearly state that the pressure should be 42 psi for the back and and 35 psi for the front. The clerk made the notes and assured me this would be taken care of. I went about my day and picked up the car a couple of hours later once the service was done.Within a couple of minutes of driving my car, the computer alerted me that the tire pressure was indeed incorrect. I pulled over to notice that the tire pressures were incorrect ON ALL 4 TIRES. I immediately went back to the Sears Auto Services and brought this up with the same clerk who brought it to attention to one of the workers.It was at this point that an employee by the name of Harol Nuria approached me and tried to tell me that everything was correct. I explained to him various times that the dealer sticker has a different PSI that he was telling me was correct. It must be noted that he was trying to tell me that the tires should be 32 PSI even though none of the tires were even at the level the he said was correct. He would go ahead and refuse to put air into the tire at my request.The worst moment of this experience was when Harol not only ignored what I was saying but went to my partner and was trying to talk to HIM instead. I told him that he needs to speak to me since I AM THE OWNER of the vehicle but it was obvious that he would prefer to speak to another man and ignore me despite the fact that I am the actual client. It was at this point that I asked for the manager and Harol Nuria then stated the Im the manager and Im not putting air on the tiresSo Sears gets a total F for the following reasons:1 - Not following manufacturer guidelines clearly depicted on the automobile2 - Refusing customer service3 - Showing a complete lack of respect for the client and allowing a misogynist atmosphere in the workplace.This will be the last time I ever go to any Sears affiliated store or center. Women or anybody that wants their car taken properly care off should be alarmed.

Everybody in their was complaining about 3 and 4 hour wait times for a flat tire change and an Oil change. Check out had one employee with a line of 4 people. Avoid at all costs!!! Run!!!

Poor customer service and overpriced. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of coming here because it was close to home. They took 10+ minutes to even acknowledge me, even though they were not busy and I was the only person in line. And to top it off, I was charged $160 for a standard battery replacement, which is way more than a place like Walmart charges. Should have listened to the other reviews and avoided this place.

I am a person about customer service and in this new age reviews are everything my business runs on these reviews I come to the big know stored because honestly if they can hold a structure like this for your years it most be that they are doing something rite, but form the moment I arrived here was horrible only reason why I stayed was because they where the only ones that can get me a tire in 4 days instead of 2 weeks. But everything was wrong took them 5 hours to put two tires on my car. Half of the workers didnt know what I was asking like if I talked a different language when all I was asking was about my tires in specific. I can honestly say the place my parents use to come to has gone down to the ground not even the manager it self isnt worthy to hold that title. Only one guy on the floor actually felt like he knew what he was doing. Going on the sixth hour and now they have gone to buy a part that they didnt have.

I wouldnt even give this location one star if I didnt have to. Bought a groupon for an oil change and it says to make an appointment. We called to make an appointment and they said no need to just come in. Upon arrival we are greeted with do you have an appointment ? And then grilled about the authenticity of our call to make an appointment. Then asked if we know the voice of who we talked to. Never even got the oil changed. We have decided to return the groupon. Less drama and friendly service guys... We just wanted an oil change!

This is the worst and unprofessional service I’ve ever received in a auto shop. Never EVER bring your car here. I had a 9am appointment, they took 25 minutes to check me in. Only one person at checkin. It’s 11:26 and still my car hasn’t been serviced for just an oil change. I went to inquire and the rep told me another 45 minutes. No apologies. Nothing. He asked me what I wanted to do. The most careless people you can encounter. The service is the same at the Sears store. No wonder they bankrupt. Grrr

STOP!! Before you take you car to this place. The employees at this Sears Auto Center are unprofessional, unreliable and untrustworthy. My husband took his car there for a deep maintenance which costed $2,000, 5 days later the car did not turn on even when the battery was changed. We had to call a towing company to take the car back to the center and when they checked it they said it was the alternator ; however after the deep inspection they did this problem with the alternator never came up. Javier, the manager, does a very poor job in customer service. If you dont value a customer that just spent $2,000, you dont value your business at all.PLEASE! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!

Went to sears for an oil change did the walk around my car and there was no dents and the man marked the paper as no dents. Came back and big dent in back bumper and they marked the dent saying there was one afterwards. The denied hitting it and went and marked a dent afterwards to cover themselves and tried to say they came back to the car and there was dent. The manger Jerry should not be allowed to run a scheme and it is absolutely disgraceful that they can go back and change the paper and hit your car without telling. Then they make you wait to talk to you so that they can come up with a FALE story of how it happens. I will be taking this matter up because it is unacceptable for this to happen and don’t want this be allowed to happen to others. Do not go to this place as it should be shut down and the management is terrible.

Worst service ever, dropped the car and they told me will take 2 hrs. Came back 2 gotta later and they havent even give my car to any one to take care of.Extremely slow, they juts keep talking to each other and on the phone . Will never come back and do not recomen to anyone to come to this place.

Really a ridiculous place!... so i get there and the service adviser continues to excuse himself to do God knows what, this ate up 25 minutes! - Mind you, i ordered my tires online and they were there. I walk outside and he is walking aimlessly around and stopping to chat with others - dont know why. so, finally completes to print the 3 pages he needed to print and pass my work order to a mechanic. The WO does not take long for the Mechanic to grab it and put my car on the lift. He then starts to chat to another adviser about some place he apparently wen to on vacation - this continues for 20 minutes. my car is lifted. and the car sits there for another 30 minutes before anything is done. Another guy comes to show me wear on my tires and tell me that cars need to be aligned every 6 months! Mind you, my car is a 2012! Mean time, the mechanic is talking with another 3 mechanics, also not doing anything. finally removes my tires and takes them to another guy who is actually the only person that did not stop working through out the entire time - he mounts tires. He mounts my tires in 15 minutes. they sit there for another 20 minutes. and then, this is where it gets interesting, a guy who was cleaning the floor, grabs my tires mounts them and my car is ready!All in all it took 2.5 hours for them to mount 2 tires while there are only 5 cars, including mine, with 6 mechanics working (one guy cleaning) and the guy cleaning completed my job! WOWif you have the time, visit this place!!!
