WORST PHARMACY EVER!! I have yet to be able to get thru the drive thru. You wait and wait and wait and the line never moves! People that work there are rude.

Quite literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been to - even with 5 staff members in the back of the pharmacy, I have been on hold for at least 15-43 minutes trying to get someone to pick up the phone (spoiler alert: no one picked up when I called literally 4 times on 9/13/21). Super inefficient and irresponsible way to run a pharmacy when peoples medication and health is on the line. Every time I go into the store, there are always other people complaining to the pharmacy as well, about incorrect pickup texts and calls, insurance being denied, etc. If I could give this CVS 0 stars, I definitely would. They definitely need a change in pharmacy manager to make sure the other colleagues are answering the phones and making sure peoples medications are correct. The only redeeming person about this pharmacy is the kind Indian woman - I did not get her name, but she seems to be the only one with a positive attitude and willingness to help. Even the store manager Brandon is unprofessional. Avoid this CVS if you want your medication on time and correct!

The didnt respond promptly, now we will the medicine hopefully tomorrow for the kid who needed that immediately

I am not sure what is going on with this pharmacy. I came here three different times to drop off my prescription, provided all the information , and and for some reason I always get a message, just before the pick up time that they rejected my insurance. I always have to go inside wait another 10 minutes or more in line and suddenly they realize that indeed my insurance does cover my medication. It takes 2-3 trips just to get a prescription filled. Not happy.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. They couldn’t be more incompetent. I’ve had my prescription filled here twice and it’s been the biggest nightmare ever...no one should have to wait almost an hr for their prescription after being notified several hours before that it was ready. This has happened to me both times I have used this pharmacy. Do not waste your time.

The pharmacy is not great. There is one guy that works there that is nice, professional and actually seems to care about customers. I have used this location for several years due to the location and not having to deal with switching things. I have rxs that are refilled on a monthly basis and every single month I have to call them and sit on hold for anywhere from 5-30 minutes in order to get it all figured out. They will reflect things as being filled online that I have never picked up or been notified of. They will tell me it isnt eligible for refills, which is incorrect and I have to state my case every month. Luckily I only have to deal with this once a month so, I work around it. Not too long ago, I had an issue where the girl helping me at the pharmacy counter was asking which rx I was picking up and started speaking VERY loudly, announcing all the medications on my account to where people around could clearly hear. I feel like this is extremely unprofessional and distasteful.

One word sums up this pharmacy. Horrible. Totally inept, inefficient and unmindful of customers. Each time I walk in here, same story. Long line, irritated customers, slow service. I am not even sure how this pharmacy (manager) continues to operate the store without incorporating any feedback from customers. Horrendous. To their credit they have managed successfully in being consistently bad.

Not sure why of all the CVS I picked this one to have my passport pictures taken. I am not shocked after reading the other reviews! The lady with braided long hair was rude from the start to the end. She kept shaking her head for everything i asked or requested! So rude!! She had issues when i asked if i could see my picture she just took, she had issues with providing information on how many pictures i get and obviously i would pay for extra copies and she had already assumed that wouldn’t from the way she said “it’s charged extra”I literally had to tell her that she could be a bit nicer and then she mellowed down, by then I had already lost it and here I am! Sorry but expected a better start to my day!

I scheduled my appointment for COVID -19 test at this branch. I reached on time, but after waiting for 30 mins in a drive-thru line, a technician at the window told me that their printer is not working, so they can’t print my test label, and she would reach back to me in 30 mins once it’s fixed. I waited in the parking lot, after an hour I haven’t got any call from her. So I tried to call first, but no one responded, so I went back there. This time she told me that they couldn’t take my test today, and I should register again after the holidays. What a shame, I wasted 2 hours and hadn’t got my test done. They should have called me before an appointment about the printer issue; this is very unprofessional and irresponsible. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I am currently sick with COVID and extremely short of breath. My husband has been waiting for 1.5+ hours for my prescriptions. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. With all of the horrible reviews this pharmacy has, I’m surprised and baffled that their corporate office hasn’t stepped in.

12/30/19 I don’t understand what is going on here recently. I’ve been coming to this location for years and during the past three months there has been a serious decline in customer service.I just left the drive thru (2:40 pm) to pick up two prescriptions. However, I had to leave because one of them is not ready even though I called and spoke to someone this morning at 9:43 am and was promised both would be ready at 12 noon.First of all, one of the prescriptions is on auto fill and when I realized this morning I had ONE pill left, I called and the automatic response said the order should have been filled on 12/6... more than three weeks ago.The second prescription was sent to the pharmacy Thursday, December 26.Despite the fact that there were zero cars in front of me in the drive thru, I waited 16 minutes from someone to acknowledge my presence.Returning to my original statement, over the past few months, this has been the norm.My doctor has, repeatedly, called in new prescriptions (we can’t seem to get the right medication and/or dosage), I have to call the pharmacy to get them filled.Last month, I had to wait seven days before the prescriptions were filled.2020 will be the year I switch pharmacies. This one is clearly incompetent.

I am transitioning from Coppell to McKinney and though I live in McKinney now, the nurse practitioner I like to visit is located in Coppell, therefore I pick up my prescriptions at this location. When I originally called they said it would take an hour to fill my prescription but that wasn’t going to work for me because that day I needed to head back to McKinney ASAP. When I arrived the lady (wish I had gotten her name) was willing to help me and filled my prescription upon arrival when I explained the situation to her, which I greatly appreciated! The gentleman who was working cashier was also very helpful. Thank y’all!

This is the absolute the slowest pharmacy I’ve ever been to and always seems understaffed. The pickup line takes ages even if there are only 1 or 2 cars in the line and going in is just as slow. Both CVS locations in Coppell are very poorly run. We have been waiting in the drive through for over 30 minutes! This one on Denton Tapp is always UNDERSTAFFED in the pharmacy. When we finally got to the window, they told us it was at the other CVS. We’ve used CVS in a small town in Texas and the service was fantastic. But management you really need to get a grip on these locations. I’m ready to move our prescriptions to a completely different place. It is always a hassle ever since we’ve been up here which has only been two months.

The people in this CVS are incompetent. I understand the cashier job is not very technical, but some sort of testing should be performed for accuracy of completing transactions. The cashier couldnt see the receipt and kept doing repetitive actions. The manager claimed to be busy with another customer and on the phone. He was not concerned with the needs of the cashier to complete her tasks for the customers in line. I waited well over 15 minutes coming into the store, and then another 20 minutes after selecting a few items in the store for 15 minutes waiting for the manager to be available. The Cashier was trying to figure out the receipt and how to process my refund for 20 minutes. I will never come back to this CVS. If you value your time, dont go either. Go to the one on Sandy Lake. They are much nicer, knowledgable, and helpful. *This is not my first bad experience here at this CVS.

My goodness, whats wrong with that cashier Justin (name on my receipt)? He was so rude and abrupt. Not my fault if your product is placed in a wrong place. Even though they were slammed, Rinu (I hope I am spellimg that right), one of the pharmacy techs, took the time to go online to search for a coupon. Pat is a rude cashier. Whenever she is working, she never wants to help people. I asked her where the hair dyes were moved to and she lied to me saying that she was new and didnt know where they were. I know that she was lying because she has been at this location for a while. Today while being in the store she started yelling at the woman in front of me in line simply because the woman asked if she was ready for her card to be swiped. Im not coming back to this location until they do something about Pat. Customer service is key and no one wants to come to a store where theyre going to be treated rudely.

My wife and I had been looking for a specific immune supplement with no success and when we finally asked for some help he was extremely rude and didn’t want to help at all. He didn’t even look at my wife or I and just said “this is the cough and cold section” and very obviously was done helping us.The other workers Are incredible and any one of them are more qualified. He needs to be replaced. He is not customer service oriented in the least. Imagine if we actually had an issue, he would be the last person in that store that we’d want to work with when the manager should be the one everyone else looks to for guidance.AVOID THIS CVS.

I went in here to get my passport pic taken/printed and noticed no one at the photo section. When I approached the only cashier on duty to ask if he could call someone to help me, he cut me off mid sentence, put his palm right at my face (as if he was telling me to stop), and rudely said Im the only one here. Then when I proceeded to ask if I needed to wait for the checkout line to die out before he could help me, he again cut me off mid sentence and yells next customer! I will never shop here again. I ended up going right across the street to Walgreens and had immediate and pleasant service. Avoid this CVS location.

There are two (2) CVS pharmacy store locations in Coppell. My review is for the CVS pharmacy in Coppell on the corner of Denton Tap and Parkway. There is another pharmacy in Coppell over on Sandy Lake and MacArthur. I think that possibly people are reviewing the wrong CVS store on this site. The names mentioned in these recent reviews do not match the names of the people that I deal with at my CVS.The male pharmacist is a fantastic guy - always willing to help and always friendly and the review of a male pharmacist needing to be replaced cannot possibly be talking about the same man. I do not know who Pat is that is rude to customers because I look at nametags and have never met anyone by that name working at my Denton Tap CVS. I believe there is a Pat working over at Walgreens. When I was at CVS last week, there was not anyone named Pat working there, to my knowledge.Yes, the CVS can get busy and processes customers slower during peak hours and that’s why I try to go during off hours, if I can.
