My customer service experience with Cookeville Countertops was absolutely horrible.I ordered countertops through Lowe’s to be made by Cookeville Countertops. I was given a date that was three weeks out and told to pick up on that date only to be told once I arrived at Lowe’s three weeks later that Cookeville Countertops hadn’t even started our countertops yet and had put them on back order. The Lowe’s employees did not have this information until we were looking for my order. They had not been notified. I called Cookeville Countertops (on recommendation of the Lowe’s customer service member) to get a better idea of how long the delay would be and was told that Lowe’s would have to call them and check every day to know when the back ordered products were available because they don’t usually speak with the customers directly or give updates to Lowe’s when their material deliveries get changed or delayed. I was also told that, once available, the counters could take weeks to fabricate due to high volume of orders coming in (even though my order was placed weeks ago). Then, once fabricated, it could take a week or more to ship to Lowe’s. When I tried to recap this information to the representative to get a better estimation of when to rent a trailer (again) and line up installers (again), she became extremely rude and said that there was no way she could give me an estimation. She became irate when I asked if an appropriate time to expect our counters would be four to five weeks and started to cut off my questions and get loud. She said there is nothing we can do at this point to amend or change my order, even though the material for my counters is not even at their store yet or ready to be fabricated.Above all, I would have liked a call explaining that my order was delayed, so I could make alternate arrangements. I completely understand material not being delivered that should have been delivered. A little bit of common decency would have been appreciated.I am not the type of person to leave reviews. I don’t complain about poor service or mistakes often, but the way I was spoken to by the Cookeville Countertops employee left me in tears and with more questions about my order than answers.

Last year we purchased kitchen and 2 bath counters, their guy, Jackie Whitehead took out old and installed new. He did a great job and everything was very reasonable. This year we remodeled our grandsons bath. We purchased the countertop there and installed ourselves. I got the measurement off or the walls were not square so I had to take it back and have it cut down a quarter of an inch. They took it, cut it down immediately while I waited at not charge! These are some of the nicest , friendliest, and knowledgeable professionals I have ever done business with!

You better go in with measurements in hand to leave or you make several trips,bring back someone elses countertop and be asked to pay again. Still havent gotten the

Ive used Cookeville countertops as a countertop vendor in the retail world for the last 10 years.The staff is always courteous and knowledgeable and keeps me informed on my orders and produces quality products.I would highly recommend them for your countertop needs.
