Not very nice, wasted my time, not very accommodating (and on false information that she/staff knowingly disclosed just to obtain secondary insurance from me as part of their unfriendly attitude). The staff that I dealt with is an adult so playing high school games, completely unprofessional. This was my second visit, so my identity and other private/protected information was already established. When a company behaves this way, I suspect that your private information is not secured. Will not be returning here with my family, too many red flags.

I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. I had glasses and contact fitting and exams. I took 20 mins to pick frames and they made my glasses while I waited and I went home with them and my trial contacts. The doctor and staff were polite and accommodating. I will be back next year!

I took my foster son in Jan. 2020.(pre -CoVid) Staff was not very warm. The doctor seemed unhappy to be examining my excited and active, normal 4 year-old and the staff said something to the effect that the doctor wouldnt do the exam if my son would be moving around. I told them he would be fine. After the exam we went to the optical part. Waited a while then told the staff he would be buying glasses for the first time. They pointed, from behind the register to some frames Medicaid would pay for but never came over to help fit him. Fast forward March and April 2020 I call multiple times to get his prescription, never received a call back. I finally get them on the phone and they ask if I am at an optical shop...and they suggest I just go to one to get the staff there to call and request my sons prescription, saying it will only take 2-3 min. after they fax a release form. Long story short after 35 min., 3 calls(2 from optical staff, and one from me) we finally get the prescription only to realize it was over a year old... something they should known and neglected to mention. Then they lie and claim they still fill prescriptions that are up to 2 years old. At the bottom of their prescription it says expires after 1 year!! Dont go here!! I am sure I will never go again. Maybe they dont like Medicaid patients, or little Latino boys being raised by their grandma...who knows.(By the way the only attentive person is a male optician that helped us a couple of times after the glasses and lenses broke- hence the 2 star rating)

Great experience, found the perfect glasses and they were done in less than an hour. I was able to wear them home and I absolutely love them. Dr Nell was great and everyone there was so helpful, I cant wait to take the family back and have there eyes checked.

If I could do less stars I would. My husband called ahead and was told they dont do appointments and only accept walk-ins. My family and I went in there and their main concern was that they are requiring face masks. I said I didnt have any. They acted like they didnt want us there and made us feel like we needed to leave. Finally one lady said to just give us a mask. After receiving the masks we went to the back reception area and the lady there kept harassing us about putting on the masks. My husband and son had already put theirs on and I was getting my daughters water set up and her diaoer bag before I put mine on, but this clearly wasnt fast enough for her. The whole atmosphere was negative. All of their attitudes were like they didnt even want to be working there. The man that worked there kept walking around without a mask all the while having their staff preach about their mask requirements and intimidating the clients. Finally, the lady at the back counter asked why we were there. After telling her my son needed an eye exam she took my insurance card and ID to copy it. She gave them back along with a clipboard and let me tell you.. the way she handled everything made me feel like a dirty person. The way she handed back my cards and got hand sanitizer and how she looked at me made me feel like I was the filthiest person alive. She was above me and was going to make sure I knew it. I sat down with the clipboard to fill out the paper work and the guy without a mask (Who is the doctor) came out of the back room and tells the lady that his wifes uncle or whomever it was just died and that she needed to make everyone leave so that he could go home. It was completely unprofessional. They were about to kick us out. I took the top form that had the only copy of my insurance cards and ID and just set the clipboard and my mask on the counter and left. It was completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and unorganized establishment. The worst place I have ever been to. You hear about walking into a room and people being so negative that the air itself is heavy. This was that place! I will never recommend anyone to come here and I will never set foot anywhere near here again. I would recommend a Walmart eye exam over dealing with this location and staff. My husband even described it as walking into a home where the old lady smokes inside it, minus the smell of smoke. The vibe was just grungy. Honestly, anywhere else would be better.

This place has the best customer service. The staff are so kind and treat you like family.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Took my daughter for her eye exam and the secretary was rude and had an attitude the whole time. Doctor would be somewhere else if he could he was so rude said my daughters prescription wasn’t covered by her insurance and she wasn’t gonna wear the glasses either way(even tho she had a prescription) Never coming back by far worst service!!!!

Went out of town this morning for Houston and never noticed my nose piece fell off my glasses. On my way home, I stopped by Conroes store. They were VERY friendly and courteous, and fixed it for free and had me out the door within 5 minutes! I would give them 6 stars if I could.

While I am sure the doctors are good, the receptionist is downright LAZY. I called to try and make an appointment and was told the Doctor wasn’t in today but that they were referring people to another office.. that’s fine, things happen. Then I asked where the other location was and she told me, but that was it. No other contact information was given out so I asked for a phone number for the other office and she said she didn’t have it.. seriously?! How on earth are you going to refer someone to another office and not have their phone number? So then I literally asked the receptionist that same question and was told, “I’m sorry, I just don’t have it at my desk.” THEN GET UP AND LOOK FOR IT. Absolutely awful customer service. Though this location is closer to my house, I will drive further for much, much better customer service.

I cannot say enough good things about this office! The doctor is phenomenal and the staff are very helpful. Im hard to satisfy when it comes to getting my prescription just right, but the doc got me fitted for the perfect contacts and rx on the first try. I will be very happy to return to this office for my next exam and fitting.

They are very kind and very helpful. My prescription was the same so they just helped me straighten my glasses. I will definitely recommend this place.

I went in to order sunglasses yesterday and the smell of Scentsy was OVERWHELMING! I have Asthma and need to avoid chemical smells. They had at least three diffusers within a 20 area! I couldnt stay in the store! I do wish they would consider the store is a public place where many people besides me have allergies to chemicals in the air, and save the perfumed diffusers for their personal homes. I will have to find a new place to buy my glasses in the future.

I have a rare prescription that makes it hard to fit me for contacts or eyeglasses. Dr Neil and staff were very knowledgeable and made the process fast and easy!

Very disappointed with this place the doctor and staff is very rude had very poor attitudes when involving my Autistic son so I advise anyone with kids or Autistic kids do not go. We will never go back there ever again. Doctor acted like he never wanted to do it to begin with. I had to do 1 star but I couldnt give it a 0.

Ive been coming here for 20 years. I would never go elsewhere. Dr Mike Nell is awesome and so is his staff. I always get the best glasses here. I went to vision works once and hated the glasses I got from there. Ms Patsy up front always make sure I get the correct frames that fit well and are comfortable to me. Tso in Conroe is the best place to come if you have vision problems.

My wife and I dont even think of going anywhere else. Friendly staff, no nonsense evals, you just cant do better.

I have been going here for 20 years. No appointment required. Today I showed up at 12:15 to get my eyes checked and was turned away because “they close at 1pm”. I will not be back.

Walked in without an appointment and was seen right away, Dr was very nice and selection on frames was nice. Favorite moment was the Dr/owner kept saying Youre the boss and I wont stop until your happy

My pup ate my glasses, everything but my lenses. The staff couldnt find a new set to fit, but they found an old pair & I was charged absolutely nothing!. With or without insurance, this is the place to go.
