Friendly service. Highly recommended for construction pros and fine woodworking enthusiasts. The selection of plywood and exotic woods is amazing, and you can buy in quantity or just a few pieces.

Dwayne (I think was his name) helped me pick out some white oak for my mantle build. I came in with the species and rough dims of what I wanted and he was able to pick me out the perfect pieces that all had similar grain & color. He even suggested I buy longer boards 16’ and he could cut them in half for me to save money and also get more consistent wood. The mantle was a daunting project but came out better than I imagined thanks to the kind and helpful people here!

Great people! Everyone was super helpful and there were some cute German shepherds walking around the store. They seem to have a little bit of everything from hardware to lumber. Caution: the do charge extra for credit card orders and American Express. Fortunately, we were able to find everything we were looking for at a slightly higher price than we imagined.

I love this place. Owner and staff are super friendly, always helpful and just overall great ppl to deal with.The selection of exotic lumber is wide and well organized. They have price sheets so you can reference while sorting through the different woods.From Tiger wood to Zebra wood. Purple Heart to cherry, rainbow poplar and African Mahogany. And thats just a small sample. Big ol mantles to big slabs of Peruvian walnut...... its basically paradise!

I went here after having pretty poor experiences at the yards in Charlotte. The gentleman who helped me at B E was very kind, and was willing to answer a few of my amateur level questions about wood. I found their prices to be quite reasonable, and the selection was truly outstanding. I feel like an idiot for buying overpriced, poor quality wood from big box stores for all these years. I’ve seen the light, and I will be back, B E Kluttz!

Really friendly people and was the only place in town I was able to get 6x6 western red cedar posts at a reasonable price. They got them in exactly when they said they would and wood quality was great. Will be back!

Went in today looking for some oak for a project and came out with oak, ash and some cherry for less than I initially thought I would have to spend, They have TONS of wood at a great price and some really cool exotics. Super friendly folks will definitely be back soon.

As always an absolutely phenomenal experience! Folks in the yard are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have exactly what you need from the type of wood to the cut you want! Ladies in the office are super friendly and super helpful! I don’t know how the big box stores stay in the lumber business when there’s folks like these around!

Charles always goes out of his way to help you get what you need! The store has quality and specialty items you can’t get at the box stores. If you’re looking for something specific ask and they might be able order it. They’ve helped me with fixing a broken window pane, cutting/installing a beautiful pine mantle, special ordered cedar for raised beds, purchased/delivered culverts, etc. Go here and support your truly local lumber/hardware store!!!

I went to find a piece of rustic wood for my fireplace mental and they were very helpful and patient with me! They have so many different kinds of wood.

They carry 3/4 AB marine plywood along with lots of other hard to find stuff. Very friendly staff made me feel like welcomed.

For a Woodworker, this is a candy store. The hardwood selection is impressive with more varieties than most yards. Add to that, great staff and very reasonable prices and you cant go wrong. Ill definitely be a return customer for my project list is long and Ive found my new source.
