I love this location! The staff are very friendly and the store is clean. B&N has always been on the pricier side of things, but Im happy to pay them knowing Im supporting authors I love.

I love book stores. Not many around these days.

Brand new store and in one of the best new places to have it. Better access to everything, and a wide range of different things. However there is no music section, except for a small shelf area having some vinyl records. Otherwise, this place is amazing, and they even feature local authors too.

Love the store, but the help isnt knowledgeable about the e-readers they carry. They couldnt answer simple questions about the difference nor the price of a 10 Nook either. I asked about the Lenovo 10 also. I would like to talk to someone who could answer my questions please.

I purchased three books today for the little ones. I knew what I wanted but wasnt sure of their location. The sales person was a great resource. She knew exactly were the books were located, which were the newest in the series, and did you know that Captain Underpants is now illustrated in vivid colors. Kudos to the cashier too.

Big, well lit, clean, helpful staff. I love this store as it closes at 9pm and has a Starbucks in it. Winning!! Lots of non-book STUFF for sale too. One of the last big box book stores around.

Am now buying from B&N and other retail booksellers. So what if it costs an extra $4, I get the book now, and just skip a cup overpriced coffee and the economics are even versus an online seller. Go buy a book.

They didn’t have what I was looking for, but they have amazing COVID-19 precautions and the store was extremely clean and carefully sorted. 😃

Brightly lit, spacious, and open layout. Not as big as the one in el Cerrito. Youll probably find the books youre looking for but dont count on finding non-book items such as specific Funkos.

We went before closing, they were very pushy and rude, telling us that the register was closed and telling us to come back in the morning. We just barely got the book we needed.

The cashier was a big help. I bought the book they were showed me.

Great selection of books with very open space to browse around. One question, is it safe to have a bookstore open during covid times then it is to have out door dinning for restaurants instead? What if someone who has covid and doesnt know, touches a book and places back on the self, does that mean each book will be disinfected?

Love Barnes & Noble! Picked up a couple Plant Based Eating Cookbooks 😁 This location has more Plant Based books than the Antioch location! Im thankful they are open! Got in before the next lockdown!

This place is amazing, the workers are very polite and I was able to find books easily. It was also cool to find out one of the workers also watches anime and it was fun to talk about it with her!

They have books. Wish selection was greater, but we all know how we got here.

Its a nice looking store, bright, new and very open. The staff, if you can find someone, are friendly and helpful. It would help if they had someone other than the cashier on floor. I receive targeted email from them promoting books however when I get there they dont have them in stock and they order them online. I may as well save the gas and time and just order online myself. Its almost as Barnes & Noble corporate is trying to get more traffic through their online channel than in the brick and mortar stores.

Religion section is highly christianized, with limited books on other divinities.

Great place. More then books. Lots of fun stuff to look at. Theres also a Starbucks inside. They offer free activities for kids on the weekends sometimes. As always for this shopping center there is always a parking problem.

Barnes and Noble are always a great place for books, games, novelty items, and kids things. This particular location is no exception. It is very clean and has a great selection. The store seems more high end than other locations and it located in a really nice part of town. Check out the surrounding area for other fun places and good food to eat.

So fantastic to be a a book store again. Of course I love books but since Barnes and Noble in both pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek closed..we have missed being able to actually go in the bookstore. Wonderful place.. needs a few more chairs, but otherwise has coffee etc available...and lots of books and magazines.

Theres only two consumers in the store and no bike racks outside, but a barista stops to tell me my bike may bump into someone in the empty aisles.Rules only make sense if they are both kept and broken. Breaking the rule is one way of observing it. Id encourage your employees to read the books they sell and maybe you would have gotten my money and not Amazon.

If you need the book now and dont want to wait for Amazon definitely stop by here first. Support book stores before they disappear

Great place to spend a really well time. A vast amount of books to choose from. I will recommend this place for anyone who loves to read and like to learn or entertain with paper books.They also have great deals on paperback books and new releases.

Nice gentleman working the front counter and starbucks cafe was friendly and timely. I also witnessed him being communicative to get other guests assistance.

Your average Barnes & Noble. Staff were friendly and helpful. Just dont go here on a weekend unless you like playing musical parking spaces though... Weekday visits are best!

Great location. Staffs were very helpful and welcoming. Shelves were clean and not dusty too. Prices was reasonable and they have good selection.

Love this place, good wifi for studying + buying books.The drinks at the coffee bar is not that great though. That is something they could improve. The coffee Shop in the same complex has better drinks

This B&N looks smaller and more sterile...at first. It us actually PACKED with books! The whole center of the floor plan has lower shelves so theres a clear view from one side of the store to the other which is convenient with kids.

It nice to be able to connect to a book store with what your looking for. Quiet, people kicking back reading a book. People that work there helpful and cheerful. Thank you.

Ordered a book for curbside pick up to avoid contact with people during these times. Called the store over and over for nobody to answer.. why advertise a service you can’t provide .. disappointing and won’t order at this location ever again.

Ok, it is true that between the online marketplace and chain book emporiums the neighborhood bookstore is almost a thing of the past. that is regretable , indeed, but still.... look at all those books! wow! how many hours could i spend browsing, jumping from topic to topic, genre to genre? way too many, thats for sure. and with a coffeshop attached -- well, sorry, i am in a form of shopping heaven. so glad to see a reappearance of a local barnes and noble. (i suppose a downside that impacts a certain segment is that the stock on hand leans towards a mass market rather than more experimental or fringe literature.)

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and was asked if I needed help with anything (I did). I was taken to the area I was looking for and found what I needed almost immediately. Big store, if you need a book, go no further than Barnes & Noble, they will have it.

This store is depressing regarding to the kid’s section. My kids come here and they only care for the tons of toys they have displayed everywhere. The seating area with legos has lego sets all around for sale. Then finally at the end of the kids section have some ridiculous uncomfortable benches that I am assuming it is for reading!?!It is so irritating that I rather buy toys at Amazon(.)com and books at Amazon store in Walnut Creek.Under the NONFICTION section they actually put some comfortable seats and guess what... grown ups are enjoying their books there... Amazing, right?I am giving 2 stars because they have books to sell.

New location. Parking needs to be better. Only a few handicap accessible parking spaces. Was on hold for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to pick up the phone line. Cashier was frazzled when I purchased more than one item and more than one person was waiting in line.

The smallest Barnes & Noble I have been to, but still had a wide variety of genres! The childrens section displays were great and seasonal, and they even sell K-Pop figures here!

Finally a bookstore! Parking looks plentiful, but is often difficult. The store carries mostly bestsellers. If you need a specific book, your better off ordering it.

A nice place to sit down read and charge your phone. At the front of the store is a long counter with outlets underneath and stools to sit.

It is very cozy inside the store. They have a cafe area and furniture around the store for you to hang out and relax.

I was excited to see a brick-and-mortar bookstore like barns and noble reopen its doors, as I used to frequent them in days past. After visiting this one I think I came to realize that what I really missed from bookstores was the atmosphere that they brought to the shopping experience. This book store has plenty of books but it seems to lack any charm. Nothing against the staff or merchandise but the way everything is lit in a sterile Walgreens kind of way is just offputting. That and all the shelves remind me of cheap IKEA furniture.

While the store was.nice.the organization of staff and the Bathrooms was the worst bathroom I HAVE EVER EVER seen at a hook store. Floor was soaked garbage was overflowed there was almost a whole roll of.tissue ALL ripped.and.over the floor.akd hanging off the seat.Also one 1 bathroom out.of 2 was open it.said.1.was.out.of service.soni waited 20 minutes to.use the Awful bathroom

I missed this bookstore until I went back to get a book and saw that it was $20. Amazon had it for $9. Yes, I know... I am the person who causes these kind of stores to close their doors. But if I can get a better deal online, I’m going for it.

Barns is back baby! Its a little leaner then it was befor but its still very welcom back.

They are finally open and I love the layout very open and the cashier was very friendly when I asked where a specific section was.
