Horrible company; had issues with the poor quality from beginning. Would call snd the manager, April, would have a tech come out and the tech would indicate what repair was needed, but April would always decline the repair. Always. Two years later and our chairs are falling apart. This is the WORST company ever.

I recently purchased a Bench Made dining table and chairs with the help of Toni, the designer. From the very beginning, it was a great experience. Toni came to my home to measure and make sure it would fit my space. I was doubtful, but she was sure it would and she was right. It is exactly what I wanted and it looks GREAT.I did have one chair that I had a problem with - a small area on the seat about the size of my fist. They immediately ordered a replacement seat, but when the tech brought it out, the stain on the new seat was a shade darker. He suggested that I let him touch up the original seat and see what I thought. It worked out perfectly.I cant say enough about everyone I dealt with at this store. From the designer to the folks that scheduled the delivery, the tech and the business office, they were so professional and so willing to make sure I was happy with my purchase.I would definitely buy from this store again.

Ll open up this review with this, everything up to purchasing the couch was fine and met expectations. Customer service and a walkthrough with Chris on options were great. Delivery was a bit delayed due to COVID, could of stood to had a bit better communication (but im sure they would like to know as well). A bit of tussle to get them to deliver the couch and the rug separately, but in the end they made everything right by me.Lessons learned for them...1) More information and communication is always a good thing2) Come to the customer with all the key facts and information, rather than relying on them to make a decision.3) Dont tell the customer what you cant do but rather what you can do.

I had an appointment, arrived on time, and after waiting several moments was asked to browse the store, and eventually asked to come back as the consultant started working with someone who did not have an appointment. I went to Harvertys in Northake, without an appt and spent 4 hours over two days with 2 consultants who made sure every detail regarding our new home was addressed. Things always work out the way they are suppose to!

This store is not what I expected. I thought it was another furniture store. Nope this is more than furniture its a design store. The items are pricier but you wont see your couch in your neighbors house. Me and my fiancé really thought we could not decorate until we went here and met Tracy. She sat down looked at pictures of the room, listened to our ideas, took measurements and then made our dream a reality. It was so much fun and once we set a budget she was happy to accomadate it without losing quality. We picked out fabrics accents such as wood edging, we looked at carpet samples, tables, changing legs etc. We now have our room out of our head and soon to be in our living room. The best part is she was so nice and excited to work with us. It felt like we were friends. I will be back here really soon.

The furniture is really good, the staff was really helpful, but the furniture is expensive. Found similar style sectional at Value City for about $3k less.

My family and I truly love this location. The staff is always friendly and the store is always very warm and welcoming. We have semi adopted one of the designers there as a member of our family thats how much we love him. Tim has helped my mother furnish several rooms in our home in Charlotte so when it was time to furnish my apartment in Beachwood, Ohio we knew exactly whom to go to for help. He is incredibly patient, very knowledgeable and not pushy (hes not going to follow you around the store to try and get you to purchase anything). Im sure all the designers at this location are wonderful but we just absolutely love Tim. Every piece of furniture we have ever purchased is well made and lasts for YEARS. Being able to customize pieces makes them truly feel like its your furniture, not just a piece you liked enough to purchase. Although some of the furniture can be a little pricey, it is worth the investment!

The staff was very helpful when we originally purchased our sectional, But unfortunately within the first two weeks our ottoman retained dents in it. Their service technician came out to look at it and said it was excessive wear from our kids. We had only had the couch for two weeks at that point. We have spoken to a couple representatives since then, but they said theres nothing they can do about it:(

I recently visited a local basset in Concord, NC and was immediately approached at the door for assistance. My fiance and i were looking for a bed frame for our new home and a sales rep named tony directed us to a bed frame in the clearance section. Of course, we were hesitant at first but tony insured us that it was in good condition and would be a good buy especially for the price. The bed frame was pushed against the wall with other head boards in front of it but from the look it seemed to be no visible damages. We decided to buy the bed frame and when trying install it we noticed that one of the holes at the base was completely cracked. When we reached out to bassett they told us it was final and nothing could be done. Why was the damage not disclosed? Why were we told it was in good condition? More than anything i am upset that i spend money on a bed frame i cant use.

I rated this store one originally, somehow my one star was moved to Dublin Ohio... At the same time this store went from 174 reviews to 16... My wife and I paid cash and were told upfront that there would be two payments, one at time of order and one before delivery. We waited 90 days from order to get aone piece delivered and another two months for our couch due to a supply shortage at Bassett furniture manufacturing. Fair enough, but due to the long wait we were told we had up to the day before delivery to complete the remaining 20% balance as a mea culpa. The person who arranged this did her end was kind, funny, and made us feel like 90 days was a cinch. Her coworker,however, was the exact opposite. She decided to start bombarding us two weeks in advance of our agreed upon payment date with calls that amounted to an experience that disrupted both my wifes and my work schedule multiple times. If you watched Will Smith in pursuit of happiness demand money from that dude in the middle of the night, you get the idea. When you pay this much for furniture you should not be brow beat for payment and made to feel like an inconvenience especially when there was an agreed upon payment schedule. Update. This is a zero star. The sales person was not knowledgeable enough about the limits on the fabric or how their corporation allows purchasers of product. When we choose from their approved selection for this couch and asked about the fabric weave tearing, the guy assured us that corporate would not approve this fabric as an option for the sales floor on a tight back couch if there was any possible way it would tear from use. Fast forward one year of two adults using it and the seams were ripping in the center of the couch. Conveniently, the warranty doesnt cover that, because we choose the fabric... The fabric that corporate approved... But they were more than willing to send a reupholster specialist or for an estimate.

We spent $1000 on a chair and we had problems with the cushion within the first month. They claimed to have a new cushion on order, but then just sent a repair person that said to fluff the cushion every few weeks. Not Satisfied.

Great customer service

In store experience is awkward and not welcoming. Walked the entire perimeter of the store and watched the ladies in the design area just standing around gabbing. They definitely saw me. This was a weekday and there was only ONE other couple in the whole store. I went to the front desk area to ask a question and the woman was initially dismissive, Well, who are you working with? No one. (sigh) I mean who GREETED you when you walked in? No one. Thats when she got in gear and called one of the ladies over who helped me but did not offer an explanation as to why I was ignored---but at that point I just wanted my question answered and to get the heck out of there. We spent 75K at the Bassett store in Raleigh instead.
