Great bagels…crispy outside fluffy light inside. good cream cheese too. Guys were very courteous and nice. Shop is very clean. Will definitely go back to try sandwiches and salads

The BEST ON LONG ISLAND!!! This local staple has weathered the storm of expansion of new bagel shop owners in the area over the years.You cannot beat the team of great staff this location has. Warm and friendly and they get it right everytime. From the kettle boiled bagels ( bagels done right)to the breakfast sandwiches off the griddle this shop has no rivals. Are you a hungry commuter? They open at 4 a.m. to get your fix.

Someone recommend this spot but it wasnt what I expected, bagels didnt taste fresh....

We usually get a dozen or so bagels on the weekend around mid to late morning. Theres usually a line but it moves fairly fast. Nothing better than fresh hot bagels, best weve tasted so far in the area and great selection. Their cream cheese is a little expensive though so we get some from the Costco instead.

Place is great. I drive from port jeff to get these bagels. I tried to tip them but they said to leave a review instead. They really do a great job 💪🏻 Id give it 6 stars if I could.

Got myself a post gym breakfast sandwich bc I was in the area. The cinnamon raisin bagel was small and tough, the bacon was thickly sliced but very hard to chew through and all in one spot of the sandwich. I dont intend on trying again.

Last two times I frequented House of Bagels, the bagels were tasty, the cream cheese is thin but sufficient. when asked for toasted it had burn marks. Regardless still one of the belter bagels places in the area.

Service was good and streamlined, however it took 10 minutes to get a breakfast bagel, not too long, but seemed busy inside so I get it. Prices are decent and the bagels are hot and fresh even at 11:30am.

So many bagels to choose from. Excellent place to grab a quick breakfast bite. Clean and nice employees. Quiet so you can enjoy eating inside. Definitely will get your moneys worth.

Lot of bagel places around in NY area obviously, but if you are out around here, House of Bagels is awesome. Small place with counter service, really friendly service that moves quickly, bagels are obviously really good and they prepare them correctly.Also, one of the underrated things here is the coffee - even if I am not getting food, I will drive out of my way to get their coffee, it is really good.

Bagels are OK, a little doughy but OK. The problem is that many of their employees are unable to count to 12. I go in to get a dozen bagels and they give me 11. I go in for 18 and get 17. It happened a few times and I started dumping the bagels on my front seat to count them before I left the parking lot. Then I tried counting as they put them in the bag. Today I must have miscounted because once again I got home and got 17. This has never happened this often at any other bagel shop. I have to think this is their regular business practice. Time to find a new bagel place where I can go and not get ripped off.

Rude workers(young kids mostly). forgot one of sandwiches. then kept telling me someones working on it. waited 15 minutes. asked again. then saw the guy say oh man and ran to the back. not even the first time I had issues here. its always something. not worth the line. go somewhere else

Best fresh bagels. Super quick service no matter how busy it is!!! The bacon is nice and crispy and the eggs are cooked all the way. The best part is they open at 4am! Close at 4pm!

I’m sad to say that I will never go back to this establishment. The staff were extremely rude to my family and myself. The customer in front Me was polite and well mannered. Right after the customer left they made fun of him using homophobic language. I will happily find another establishment to buy my bagels at considering there are 5 more within walking distance.

Mediocre at best. On Long Island there are many bagel shops to choose from. But this is one I will not choose again. Despite the cleanliness of the place. The counters were so high and the bagels stacked so high in the cases you could not tell if anyone was actually there initially. And I am 58. The bagel itself.....ordered an everything bagel with plain cream cheese.....received bagel with scattered sesame and poppy seeds with plain cream cheese. I have had better bagels from the grocery store prepackaged like Thomass

New York Style bagels in central Long Island. Who would have guessed? Its very good. When my dad went here for the first time, he went back in and bought a second bagel that he could eat later. Then, he told me about how good that second bagel was a few days later as he reminisced.

In my opinion this is one of the best bagel and egg sandwich shop in the area! There egg sandwiches are neat and well put together and taste awesome that’s my recommendation of what to order here. They open at 4 AM which is always a plus for early risers

Ouf of many things of heard about this place. I wanted to try it. People were very respectful and i liked it. But once i got home and looked at all my orders. Every sandwich I ordered was not what I ordered. Everyone was disappointed

Place was awesome bagels always fresh

Food is delicious and the staff are nice, but messing up a simple order of an egg sandwich and omelette two times in a row, even when ordered with every ingredient line by line, (they do everything a la carte and write everything on a blank unlined sheet of paper, causing disorganization and confusion) were moving on to a new Sunday breakfast stop. I cant keep wasting 30 minutes every time having to hold their hand in getting our order right. They need to create staple menu items, (eg have common omelette styles on the menu to help staff know what ingredients go in an omelette without having to writie 5 things down that they will mess up) buy some LINED PAPER, and retrain staff on what the abbreviations mean.

Editing this because after years of coming here it has gotten very difficult to get my order right which is very easy. Bacon egg and cheese on a bagel is such a basic thing i think. Sorry HOBS i refuse to bring back my food for it to be corrected, you swung out on this guy too many times.

Didnt hate the place but they charge extra to use a credit card. Not a way to run a business.

Paid 30.00 for 4 sandwiches and drinks all wrong.. need to get a better system for taking orders or maybe the cooks cant understand the orders, the begals are great but taking orders for egg sandwiches are very poor. last time i go there for egg sandwiches,,,,UPDATE wow went back today spoke to manager very nice guy n gave me credit to use anytime not full amount but better than nothing.. thought i was going to get a bad respond like the stories i heard.. so if something happens here ask for manager instead of complaining to the kids working there they dont care .. the owner would not want to loss us..
