Friendly and Helpful staffing.

Yard guys are slow. Everybody walks around like zombies. If you dont have a account, they treat you different. Only a few office guys are ok. Most of them have the personality of a 2x4. Again...yard guys are very slow. If your not in a hurry then come here

My absolute worst place I have to go to unload lumber, The yard guys take about an hour till They help ya…

Be a cool place if the people working the yard would help you. Instead, they watch you drive around for 10 minutes then they ask you if you need help. I passed 5 yard workers and none of them asked if I needed help.

I agree with the review submitted by Jeremy the gentleman at the front desk didn’t catch his name but he was rude and could care less. I walked in asked for 60 2x4x8 s4s cedar and he gave me total I asked him what was the price because that was much higher then yesterday when I bought 120 from Linworth. His response was sorry for your luck but prices increased overnight. I honestly think he didn’t enter the correct item and gave me wrong price. Hopefully 5th Ave lumber can address this to this guy because that’s not good customer service and 5th Ave is better then that

If you are a contractor or working on a major project this place might be ok but if you’re buying lumber to build fencing like I was, they’re not so great. Desk workers acted like they were inconvenienced by you being there and only vaguely tell you where to pick up the lumber. Even though they called for assistance loading we couldn’t find a soul and when we did he disappeared to help a customer that had just arrived. Once we finally found the stack with lumber we needed we were on our own to load or instead the pallet.It was tempting to load up extra for our troubles but I’m not that guy.Won’t be going back any time soon.

The staff is nice and helpful. Ive only gotten wood delivered from there and both times Ive had to return. I got premium deck boards and they were all nicked up and crooked so be weary of that. Im sure youd get better results hand picking your boards.

Custom milling and great supplier. Willing to custom order lumber, provided me southern yellow pine, some custom milled to match my homes molding. The dimensional lumber they provided me was also top notch.They are a great resource!

Great people but you are on your own once you hit the lot to get your materials. The guys working the lot are way busy and it takes to long to get assistance. When you do get assistance they are friendly and willing to do what it takes to assist you.

I walked in the door and asked for the standard size roofing slap stapler. The counter guy said, this is the one all the roofers use for tar paper. I bought it. Went out to my truck, ripped the bubble package off, tried to put standand roofing staple in it and it wouldnt take. Walked immediately back inside and they said they couldnt take it back.

Went to get lumber for my home and I was very pleased with how great the yard guys was and how clean and organized the place was great and affordable will be coming back for years to come for sure .....

At the front desk they have always been nice and helpful their prices are also been very good for fasteners and number however when you’re in the lumberyard it can be very very difficult to get help, Fifth Avenue thank you for doing so many good things your customers would much appreciate it if you made your lumber yard workers be better to us like you are

Do not bother using this place. the man i spoke with could not have been any less helpful. its one thing to not stock a product. its something entirely different when they are too lazy to even bother looking.
