I have bought a lot of vehicles in my day, however, Hyundai of Columbus is a cut above the rest! A personable experience that does not treat you as just another “number”. Andrew and Michael Anthony made our sales experience unforgettable. Dwayne followed up their superior customer service with knowledge about our vehicle that was unsurpassed. He taught us everything we wanted to know about our Palisade. They are first class with their customer approach and I would recommend them over any dealership in Indiana. A small town dealership that delivered on what we wanted and kept their promises without any qualms. Truly an unprecedented experience.

This young gentleman Andrew was amazing, and I believe DeWayne who also helped us. There customer service was really great. After we got our vehicle though the check engine light came on, probably a fault in one of the parts not sure, but we were assured they would make it right and I do have faith that they will do that for us. I love Hyundai. Thanks for taking care of us. I would totally recommend this dealership to anyone.

I would recommend this dealership to anyone! They really do care about their customers. They were very upfront about cost without any hidden fees and everyone is just so personable. We had a slight issue with a feature I thought the vehicle had and ended up not having but Michael Anthony went above and beyond to make it right. Called dealership regarding a problem with my Sonata. I was a traveler with a need to get back home. They said to come in and they would try their best to get me back on the road. I arrived and they took me right in and introduced me to a senior mechanic. He test drove my car and determined the wheel bearing was bad. Had to order out as it had to be an OEM part as this was to be an under warrantee repair. Bottom line, the repair was made and I was on the road safely. The waiting area was comfortable and everyone was very pleasant. My experience was exceptional.

They were very helpful and got is into service for my Jeep very quick compared to most wait times at places we tried to schedule. There was someone I initially spoke to that talked to me like he was doing me a favor, but everyone else was enjoyable and helpful.

Under new ownership. I was told that I would get a follow up about a quote. Wanted me to come get my car appraised and did not value my time. Then the new owner called and stated that he would keep in touch. It has been over a week and no contact. I even left 2 messages and no follow-up. I would of never had this issue when it was still Bob Poynter.

We recently bought a car there. They seemed disorganized at the time. They promised us a registration within 30 days but did not deliver. We called 2x with no call back. My wife went up there to try to resolve and in the end she had to go to BMV to get it plated and registered.

Our Genesis was damaged by a semi on Interstate 65 just south of Columbus and we had it towed to Poynter Hyundai. Pointer checked it out and said it was suitable to drive, we got a new tire and rim put on and came home to Bowling Green, KY. Pointer would not accept $ from us. Thank you so much for your help. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Service was exceptionally slow and quite pricey, which reminded me why I rarely go to official dealerships for service. However, I was asking for a very specific fix that I didnt figure just anyone could diagnose and repair. What I found is that the service crew, much like the sales, does not seem to be expert in the Hyundai make, which often happens when you have 5 makes out of the same facility. I dont plan to be back, either for service or for my next vehicle. I think the people are earnest but just couldnt make it work for me.

Staff is out standing. Someone vandalized my 2015 charger. Denting and scraping my hood. I called and spoke directly to the manager and he was very cool they even beat the quote and my deductable from my insurance company. Kept me updated. And the hood looked brand new paint blended perfect match up could have been happier with a repair shop these guys are the truth point blank. No argueing

Bob Poynter is the very very best place to take your car for any reason you may have to pay a little bit of money but it will be well well worth it. They are professional polite understanding caring and sincere. I highly recommend them. I drive a Honda does that tell you anything? I dont go to Honda I go to Bob Poynter Chrysler Dodge for my repairs and maintenance.

Its really a shame that their service manager will stand behind his people, who clearly and provably lied, instead of doing the right thing and addressing the real problem.I very rarely give a bad review (go ahead and read them), but Bob Poynter Hyundai needs to fix their service department, starting from the top.Neat trick sending out a link to Google reviews that doesnt actually post to Google, or at least here. Very sneaky! (But I went around it)

Unbelievable. My mother and i were on a road trip to see a friend in TN, our check engine light came on and we had to leave our car here over the weekend. After calling every single car rental place in the area with absolutely no cars to rent, David asked the owner if we could use a car for our trip. Great service you wont find anywhere else!

I had an insurance claim that needed a repair and I went to Bob Poynter for my repairs. I worked with Brent from the collision department and he was great! He was very helpful and explained each step of the claim process for me. He called with frequent updates on my car and was always very professional and friendly.

Well normally dont have a problem. Made an appointment for an oil change. It took an hour for them to get is done. Then when I went to the window they didnt have the paperwork done so had to wait a little longer, then a phone call came in and they took care of that customer and made me wait even longer.

Great business to deal with!! 800 miles from home and I broke down not far from Columbus. Bob Poynters crew went out of their way to get me well taken care of and back up on the road when time was a critical factor. Wish I was closer to this dealership as they would be my goto shop!! I bought a used vehicle from here, clean carfax was told it was a family owned car very well taken care of. I told salesman I was planning on a relocation to California in less than a month and needed a reliable vehicle. I was reassured that this vehicle was in good condition and a great car to own. Fast forward 3 weeks later and I am on interstate in New Mexico by myself and car breaks down. Have it towed to be looked at and i am told i am looking at 8 grand worth of repairs essentially making my car way out of its blue book value. This dealership sold me a car with a bad transmission, mismatched tires which paired with the AWD ruined the transfer casing, and bad rear diff. All said and done i wasted 6 grand on purchase, almost 400 in towing and 200 on hotels being stranded in the middle of nowhere as a young woman. Trusted these people to make my trip safe and my worst nightmare has happened. My relocation plans are ruined and my bank account drained just so a dealership could make a dollar. My boyfriend and I contacted the dealership and when we spoke to someone other than salesman we were spoken to rudely and very condescending. I drove a hour out of my way just to buy this vehicle i think its messed up that this dealership makes a big deal about being a family owned dealership and say they take care of their customers but when theyre responsible for something their whole personna changes. DO NOT buy from here i went to this dealership to avoid any possible scams from private sales and assumed a clean carfax was enough to count on but this is not the case.

They are over priced on the oil change on the diesel trucks it was 227 dollars just for a oil change. I didnt even get the fuel filters it would have been more if I got them changed. I work on semis and we only charge 275 for those out the door and that includes oil change, fuel filters and grease. Not to mention they hold way more oil.
