The staff were so kind and helpful and the office was nice. I recommend coming here if you need a hearing test.

I have been going to Carolina Hearing for almost a year. I have been there for many reasons from initial hearing tests to purchasing my aids, fitting ,cleaning and repair service. Im a Veteran and never received the kind of care I need . All of the staff is very professional. I have refereed many of my friends to them and all are pleased as I am. For the first time in over 13 years of hearing aid use, I FINALLY have a team of caring, compassionate and professional hearing/aid specialists! My journey with Carolina Hearing services began on Dec 24, 2020 when one of my aids broke and I needed urgent assistance heading into Christmas. This place was so helpful for me.My dad is a vetern and his hearing aids needed attention, sure couldnt depend on Dorn VA to help,what ashame.My dad severed his country for 21 years and the VA let him down when he needed them,seems to be a theme w/them,so I turned to Carolina hearing and they did an awsome job solving my issues ,I would recommend anyone who has hearing problems or hearing aids in need of repaired,they would be the ones to go to.Thank you again for your compassion in helping my father and I.Will definitely be back

I’m a veteran and this clinic assisted me with no charge. As a veteran we know how long it takes to make an appointment with va. All personnel in clinic was very courteous. Made the appointment in one day. Mack solved my problems with hearing aids very quickly. I was completely satisfied with the results of my visit. Recommend this clinic to all veterans. Great results.

Mack was very professional with my hearing test. He was very proficient and explained everything in detail. All options were explained to me. I was able to test the hearing aids for one week before making a decision. I highly recommend this company and the Columbia location for a hearing test and hearing aids. They also offer a mobile app for better control of your hearing aids which I recommend also.

My appointment with Lori at Carolina Hearing Services was extremely informative. She is a first rate practitioner who, after testing my hearing, gave me tremendous advice on what I needed and how to effectively get the best out of my hearing aids. I didnt need to get new instruments, and unlike previous audiologists I have seen did not make a hard sell on me to get new hearing aids. In short, she gave great advice, corrected my existing hearing aids and educated me on what I should do going forward. I highly recommend.

I did not have an appointment. I walked in with some questions. Dr. Lori took time to sit and speak with me (ON HER LUNCH BREAK). By the time our meeting was over I felt bad to have used her personal break time but I also felt very educated on how hearing works! How hearing loss doesnt always mean you cant hear but could actually mean you CAN hear, you just cant understand speech very well. She gave me information on the hearing aids she suggested and why she suggested them. Dr. Lori is honest and possesses an impressive code of ethics! I truly felt my best interest was her priority and not just looking at me as a payday. Thank you Dr! My wife and I look forward to seeing you again next week. Please stay genuine! The world needs more people like you!

Atmosphere is comfortable and clean. Lori was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. She addressed my issues. Gave great advice and gave payment options. She offered me a service package on my current Phonak hearing aids. I just moved here from Texas and couldnt find a hearing aid doctor until now. Thank you and you have been a blessing!

My experience at the Carolina Hearing Services was my first time, Dr. Lori Barbery was awesome. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Prior to administering test she asked me questions, allowed me to answer and provided feedback to assist me in better understanding. She then explained in detail how she would assess me and even took breaks in between to make sure the process ran smoothly. After the tests she thoroughly discussed my options and was able to refer me to a NET. If you are having issues with your hearing I would highly recommend you visiting Dr. Barbery.

Lori let me dermo a pair in the office and offererd me the opportunity for an extended demo . I did not purchase hearing aids only because my being retired military , there is a benefit option availabe to me thru Ft Jackson . Great service, competent and many purchase options available if your insurance offers no benefit. I highly recommend.
