Elegant Flooring did a great job on our living room floor. We were interested in going from carpet to hard wood. Ed came out and gave us an estimate, described the flooring job and how it would merge with our existing flooring. Most importantly he answered all questions. An alternative company was not as nice and about 15 percent more. The workers were polite and cleaned everything up nicely. The craftsmanship was above expectations. Ed was continually in touch and very responsive. They replaced a board in an existing floor and that went well. Would not hesitate in hiring them again.

Ed and his crew did a fabulous job finishing hardwood floors (new unstained hardwood) in my new kitchen, family room, and foyer. It was challenging to match the pre-existing hardwood in the house but they were extremely patient trying many colors of stains so I would be completely satisfied. It held up completing the job a few hours as they had to go to the store to get more options for me but they did this with grace and understanding. They really wanted me to be happy.The end result was stunning and “made” the kitchen. It was a LOT of flooring to cover but it was done perfectly. They took care of my personal items (and walls and cabinets and fireplace) in my house and I trusted them to be in my house while I went away for 3 days while they stained and polyurethaned. I smile every time I think of Ed and his crew and would ask them back for ANY flooring need I have in the future. I know he also does carpet and vinyl flooring and his customers always rave about him. I asked around a lot before I hired him and his prices were excellent compared to other companies

We are so pleased with the work of Elegant Flooring! We moved into a new house and wanted to match the In only four days, they ripped up all of the rug and installed hardwood in 4 bedrooms and closets, a hallway, and 4 rooms downstairs. Since my floors had to be stained to match existing Flooring that was refinished some 18 years before, they consulted with me multiple times to make sure I was happy with the results. We hired Elegant Flooring to refinish our wood floors since they were a little old and stained in spots. In the process there was one stain on the floor that they couldnt get out. Ed and his team found the perfect wood to match our floors and replaced the boards that were stained perfectly. It was (to me) a complicated job because we exposed hardwood flooring that had been covered by carpet for 30+ years. There were places to patch with new flooring where the kitchen island had old linoleum under the carpeting plus 2 areas which had to be patched due to a previous-owners construction process.
