My rear brake pads and rotors went out and I called the next day and they got me in as soon as they could. My car was done the same day and the prices were incomparable to other places! Techs and managers were also very nice and understanding.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! They WILL scam you! They diagnosed my car not starting as a bad starter so I paid them 620 to fix it. They claimed it had no gas so it needed some before it would start. They were leaving for the day so I went and got gas and it would not start. Gave it a jump. Nothing. The next day (it never left the spot they pushed it out to in their parking lot) they said theyd have it running by the time I got off work later to come back and pick it up. I went back and they told me there was coolant in the oil and of course now it is a cracked head gasket!! They are now refusing to refund for their misdiagnosis claiming the car started but subsequently turned off (which is why they ASSUMED it needed gas 😑). So basically, they robbed my family which just welcomed a newborn out of a substantial amount of money. THEY ARE SHADY and DISHONEST!!

Friday night, I had my right rear tire to blow out and was riding on my rim on I-20 at 10pm going 70 mph. I made it safely the next morning to Mavis Tires. Not only did they make it EASY for me to get a Saturday morning appointment, they had the exact tire that I needed. They had a whole set. They got me right in and did excellent work and called me to pick up my car an hour earlier than they promised it would be done. They definitely over delivered! Did I mention they were friendly and personable, too!

Bought a 4 brand new tires from here back and July; here it is only September and have had nothing but issues. When I picked up my car from getting the set of tires; tire pressure was not reading on the vehicle. Was advised by tech to drive for about a half an hr and the issue would resolve itself. Tire pressure did show for that day; however about a week or two later; same issue returned. Took the car back to them with concern; they advised me it was my module….took the car to the dealership and it was determined that it was in fact not my module….more so a sensors not there or either they damaged my sensors; even on mavis paper work it showed code for sensor missing. Took car back to Mavis; who is still not willing to resolve the issue; stating nothing wrong with sensors and still module. A bunch of back and forth for an issue that I did not have prior to getting the tires. Will be fourth and last visit

Brought a set of tires last year July 5th have driven about 21,500 miles since purchasing, have had rotations every 6000 miles went to have tire rotation the other day all 4 tires were worn inside and out. Store manager confirmed that the tires were worn inside out stated it was probably from tire pressure asked if they could be replaced due to warranty advised me to contact the manufacturer of that particular tire, asked for District or General Manger name and number called Justin Smith 3 times no response . Why do I as the customer have to contact the manufacturer I brought the tires from Mavis they should honor the warranty their selling the product. No resolution no follow up

I experience a flat tire, came in without an appointment, my car was taken back immediately after we completed the paperwork. I had issues with my ignition button, I had the part already ordered and Mavis Techs replaced and installed all paneling. Excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have been to other local businesses and had to return within a few minutes for rework, because steering wheel was not straight or because alignment was not corrected. I always get my tires and oil changes through Mavis. They are always quick and reliable. When I bring my Jeep in Nick tells me exactly what is needed. He never tries to push more services that what is needed. Most of the time a manager is usually in the front with the customers but you see him always working on cars, greeting customers, and checking out clients. He seems to remember his customers and works very hard to inspire his staff and works hard to ensure he is upfront with his customers. Thanks Nick and his great staff for their hard work.

We pulled into this shop while on a long distance road trip, unsure if our car trouble was a major problem. They couldn’t get a part needed for our Volvo. Guys were honest and gave good assessment that we could safely get home several states away and do repairs with our local dealer.

I received really good customer service from Nick, he was very patient with me, called me on the phone when he figured out what was wrong with my car. These folks on Hardscrabble ruined 2 sets of lug nuts on 2 different vehicles of mine. Used wrong sized socket on both. Would not reimburse me for replacement lug nuts after several attempts to contact. Make sure you check your lug wrench to see if it fits properly if you have wheel/tire work done. You’ll be sorry in the event you have a flat and it doesn’t.

I had to get my neighbor to charge my dead battery just so I could get to the store. They were very friendly and helpful, and worked me right in. Just like my store in Loganville, GA. I found they gave me excellent service with a smile. As a single lady, it is important to feel confident in my vendors, and this store has my approval.

This was the best service Ive received so far when it comes down to getting my vehicles fixed. I went in for brake pads(and yes, Im a woman, so that should sum up how bad they were🤦‍♀️). I was truly on a wing and a prayer when I went in. Not only did Justin throughly explain how bad/good everything was, he showed me as well. He also listened with open ears and understanding of my situation, in which I didnt have a lot of money and I was still trying to make it through until next payday. Most people would say theres nothing they can do and just leave it at that. But NOT Justin!!!! He made sure he did everything in his power to help me get the best deal possible! He even offered the finance card to me and even though I didnt quite qualify it, I was able to qualify for the flexshopper. The quality of this service was truly amazing. They have definitely found a customer in me 👍

Had a nail in my tire and everywhere I visited before Mavis could not help and didnt take any time to help me get a tire change. Mavis Tires, while very busy, was kind and considerate and said they would be able to take care of me that day. The staff was helpful in helping me decide on best choice of another tire, as the nail had damaged the tire such, it could not be fixed, but needed to be replaced. I was impressed with their professionalism. All staff wore masks and had the waiting area set up for COVID standards. I would definitely return.

The team at Mavis is always attentive, kind and speedy. I no longer visit the car dealership for service, because Mavis has a much higher level of service, lower prices on things like oil changes, and I can always be seen within a day or two, compared to the two weeks to month wait to see the dealer. Went in to get a tire plugged at 8:38am. Only 1 other customer in the store who had already been attended to. Mavis Rep asked me for my keys and I asked him how long it will take. He said 30 mins, I checked out at 10:22am, almost 2 hours later. And then they have the nerve to charge $28.41 for 1 plug!!! When it was Franks Tires, they did this for FREE!! I miss Franks Tires. This was my go to place for tires. Well, not anymore after this morning.

I am beyond disgusted with this company and my complaints will not stop here!! I bought a tire in February from this location. No one mentioned that this was a reused tire and that it was in its last years of use. Here we are in November and I needed a new tire!! The front desk lady confirmed I just got a tire from Mavis in February. Then she mentioned the 19th year and said she needed to ask a question. Nick came over and said because it was a 40,000 mile tire and I didn’t come in for a rotation it caused to go bad. I do not believe this is the case. But I went along with it! I’ve gotten two tires from them this year and they charged $50 per tire, thinking they were giving me a deal again I went along with it!!! Only to find out the reason behind it was because they’d given two bad tires!! At my last visit not only did they charge me 71.99 for the tire, they then mentioned that I needed to have an alignment. Already wary due to this situation I declined the alignment and paid $101 for the tire and installation. I WONT EVER recommend this place to ANYONE!!! Go somewhere else. Somewhere trust worthy.The sad part is I thought Nick was a genuine person from our initial conversation, now I know he is no better than a car salesman. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE!! Or at least have the work verified by someone else after!

You definitely want to give this place a pass. You make a reservation and it is completely ignored. After sitting for 45 minutes waiting for something to happen it seemed that their customers time had little value. You would be better served going to any other place for your maintenance needs. These folks are far from professional.

I had a 10am appointment. Was told my car wouldn’t be seen for 2 hours. So my 10am appointment was a 12 pm appointment. Ok. No problem. I come back at 12pm and was told that my car wouldn’t been seen for another hour and a half. So my 10am appointment is now a 130pm appointment. Now that is just crazy. Stop setting appointments if you don’t have the time or man power to do the service. No one is sitting in your lobby all day wasting time. This is the second bad experience I have had here and I’ve only gone in twice. There will not be a third.

UPDATE TO RESPONSE:There is nothing for you to assist with. I went to Spring Valley Goodyear Tuesday morning and they installed 4 new tires on my vehicle. They have much better customer service and do what they say.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Called Sunday morning and ordered tires and set an appointment for 10:00am on Tuesday. Called Monday morning to find out the latest they would be done with my vehicle on Tuesday and was told the tires wont even be there until 11:30 on Tuesday. Why schedule me to be there 1 1/2 hours before the tires? Will never use them in the future.

Made an appointment in advance to get my brakes done today at 4pm. When I advised the desk clerk I had an appointment, I was asked “are you leaving it over night? I can’t get parts until tomorrow.” At first thought he was joking, but his response to me saying “oh I’ll just reschedule.” made it clear he wasn’t. This was extremely inconvenient and should be noted on the website when you make an appointment.

I took my Jeep in today for an oil change. Everytime I come in Nick at the front desk is so upbeat and kind! He takes great care of his customers!

I had just came to town wasnt aware of places that were here and i had brake fluid pouring out on my front driver side wheel only and i was out of brake fluid and w011 chevy and i got referred to this place and tow truck driver told me it was just brake line he looked at it when he was putting it on role back and said maybe 200 or 300 should be all it should be I could understand that price being affordable and my t Rd uck was driving fine just didnt have brakes no noices though and I got the truck fixed and i dont understand how a break job could cost 1700 .00 I know that all my parts were not bad and i was looking at the wheel washing my truck and they have new drums how does drums have rust on them when only 2 weeks old i am shocked i got charged for new parts and no way they were new and havent had the rest of it checked yet to know what else was not put on and charged for this truck had a new transmission put in not long before i moved here from dealership and I spoke with my guy at dealership and ask him was my truck in that bad of condition if it needed all that it would have got the attention while it was there i never heard of a 1700 dollar brake job and I think its a shame that people could do others that way when they dont know the persons situation and be able to sleep at night I am very disgusted and sadenned by this cause times are hard enough these days without having a business trying to legally rob you thinking you would never notice but they will not conquer from this and I am not going to just let it go and not be taken care of they should not be in business if this is what ghey call taken care of there customers So females need to be aware of this place I have printout of all parts and Never heard of that .

Ive tried getting a tire rotation, which was included in the price of the tire purchase. I went without an appointment and then with one scheduled. Both times it took so long I just left.

Just left this place about 15 minutes ago. Im giving this place 2 out of 5 stars because of the lack of integrity and dishonesty of this place. I called yesterday to get a price quote on my 2009 Hyundai Sonata for 4 brand new tires and rear brake pad change (the whole rear) after taxes. Initially quoted $435 in total costs. I also asked about a possible rear brake router cost as well which would have been an additional $150 for the whole rear brake routers before taxes. I came in today and after the analysis they gave me for the rear brake and they then quoted me 300 dollars extra PER side for each rear brake and router. Mind you they have a special for the brake pads at 99 dollars. The 4 tires I had were 64 dollars per tire and mounting and balance were $18 per tire. I have never heard of a cost jump that high per side for rear brake pads AND routers for that much on a car just over 10 years old. I immediately told them just to replace my tires and windshield wipers. When I told the guy at the front desk, whose name escapes me now when checking out that the price invoice he gave me was inaccurate for todays his response was that the guy I spoke to was customer support from another state and it was before taxes because its against the law in SC to tell the whole price quote including sales taxes over the phone. What kind of B.S. is that?!?! I also notice the vast majority of the customers here this morning were women whom I felt this shop will take advantage of because of the perceived lack of knowledge of their car issues they may have. I would advise anyone to stay away from this shop. The tires they change so far have no issues but I havent had them on longer than an hour yet. The prices werent an issue since I know the service is costly itself, its the blatant dishonesty and lack of integrity this shop has shown me today that I advise for others to stay away from this shop. I will update the review if need be but until then, BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Online pricing for tires was excellent.Don’t let making an online appointment fool you in to believing this will speed up the process any. My truck was there at 11:30 am and wasn’t finished until 3:30 pm. I called at 1:30 and was told it was 30-40 minutes. I doubt they even had it in garage when I called. I bought 4 tires and had balanced. So 1 hour per tire!

My experience was worth me leaving a comment. It all started with a phone call to get a quote, and the experience was great! The customer service continued when I arrived at the location. The repairs were done promptly, and the pricing was a lot less than the other repair shops I called. Overall I had a good experience!

Battery went dead this morning and Jason was a great help getting me out so I could get to work.Have used this location prior to the name change and have received great service. Took the vehicle in for an oil change as well as air filter, received car at the time promised and price reasonable.

Basic oil change and tire rotation/balance took 2 and a quarter hours from start to finish 6/17. I have never had service in under 2 hours and Ive been a customer for 6 years. Highly recommend dropping off your vehicle if at all possible.Quality of service is typically above average to very good. Pricing seems to have gone up due to new ownership.

Used to be Franks...I guess the good customer service left when they changed names. I walked in today.....one associate looked at me and ducked into the back the other was to busy in his phone to greet me or even acknowledge my existence. Im at Express Oil Change.

Just went today to the franks located on hard scrabble rd, because it was recommended to me by my father. So I talked to a nice gentleman on the phone named charlie, and he offered me an amazing deal on a set of tires and an alignment. When I arrived at the store charlie was gone but two nice men at the desk were able to help me out and get me set straight before they worked on my car. After a short wait I was done and out of there. One of the best auto shops Ive ever been to I will be coming back next time for sure.

I brought my car in for a scheduled appointment at 9am As soon as I arrived they took my car to the back. Billy who was at the front told me that he would let me know when it was ready. At 10:19am Nate comes out and tells me we cant do your tires because we stopped working on tires with rims. We dont even have that equipment anymore . I was instantly upset. Not only was it a waste of my time as a business owner but I also have my busy 1 year old with me. I cant put enough into this review of how upset I am right not. Not to mention the last time my tires where changed was May 2017 by THEM!. REALLY? I rather pay more money for customer service. At least someone that even takes consideration of someone else time. They offered me a free alignment but Im not even sure if I want that.

We blew a tire on the way to the beach and put our spare on. I called these guys at 1:30 (they closed at 2:00). We barely made it to them in time (1:55). They changed our tires and had us on the road at 2:10. FANTASTIC GROUP WITH A GREAT PRICE! I highly recommend them!

I am new and shopped around several places to have the oil/filter changed. I found Franks to be terrific. The people were nice and friendly. They told me it would take an hour to change the oil/filter. They completed the job in less than 30 minutes. They were less expensive than other nearby automotive shops that change oil/filter. I would go there again. I wish they honored AAA or AARP memberships with a discount.
