Absolutely recommended. He knows what he is doing and extremely reliable! Once my dealership gave me a huge quote for some repairs and I went to Dakis, he said half of the repairs are not even needed. This guys is extremely trustworthy!Totally recommend.

As a 1st time customer, I was extremely satisfied with the service I recently (March 2nd, 2021) received at Dakis Service Center. Not only was the work done in a timely fashion, Matt actually found the issue with my Heat/AC unit and repaired it at a very reasonable cost. This is after I had the dealership look at the issue on 3 previous occasions. I will certainly be back with all future repairs. I am 100% satisfied with the work.

I highly recommend Dakis Service Center. I have visited Matts shop a handful of times for various services ranging from a simple tire plug to serious engine repair work. He has always been exceptionally quick with an accurate diagnosis and performing the subsequent repairs at an honest and fair price. I have not experienced the level of auto care and such a personable mechanic at any other shop in Howard County. If you need something done to your vehicle, go to Dakis!

Took forever to service my car. AnD tried to charge extra for labor for basic mechanics.Typical autoshop nonsense and lies. I dont recommend. Couldnt even call me back to pick up my vehicle

I went in for a simple tire plug and he put me in right away. Charged me fairly and he seems like an honest guy. Ill be back.Downgraded him a star bc went in to fix drivers side window which kept rolling off track. He didnt fix it and now power lock on that door doesnt work and still charged me for it.

I moved to the area almost 2 years ago, and always brought my car back to NJ to be worked on. I was recommended to take my car here, and was not disappointed. The service was excellent, everyone was friendly and honest, and I have nothing but good things to say. I will definitely be bringing my car back.

Needed an inspection for a used car I was buying. They were able to squeeze me in, and got it done quickly. Also did additional testing to make sure the car was in good shape.

I recently moved to the area and called to make an appointment for a MVA safety inspection. Matt Amigo was extremely helpful and patient explaining the process, and even helped me on short notice. He did an excellent job for a reasonable price. I have already been back twice for service on our other car and had the same professional results.

Went to Dakis recently for an issue with a wheel making noise while driving. Dropped it off and received a call 20 minutes later saying it was fixed and charged me less than $25. They worked on my car immediately and did only what was needed. Seemed like a very honest auto shop. My problem was obviously pretty small so I cant comment on major work. I am impressed with the honesty as it would have been easy to say it needed an hour or more of work.

Rob, the owner, is extremely personable and down to earth. He runs an excellent shop and absolutely will not scam you or suggest services your car doesnt need! I cannot recommend Rob Dakis and his shop enough!

Have been taking my cars here for years they always get the job done quick and efficient now my kids now that they have moved out still take there cars here.

Mr. Amigo was very nice, but unfortunately my experience was not great.I went out of my way to get my car serviced here because of the reviews - drove it there first thing, uber-ed to work and back. I was trying to get a state inspection and an oil change. When I went to pick it up, it turned out that he had not done the oil change at all and did not have time to do it while I waited. Pretty disappointing since I left the car there all day and would now have to take it elsewhere to get that service done.Then on top of that, when I got home and was filling out my car registration application, I noticed that there were errors on my inspection certificate. He had written the previous month (November instead of December) as the date of inspection which I guess the MVA wouldve let slide, but then the year of my vehicle was wrong as well which I was pretty sure was going to be an issue, and if theres one place I really dont want to have to go back to its the MVA. I went back and he fixed it quickly, but yet another trip for me.Overall Im sure he does good work, but I would not go out of my way to use his shop again for something like state inspections or oil changes.

I use them for all my work. Very reputable.

Honest and reasonably priced. I would go out of my way for this place.
