This Place!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!While visiting we wanted some dessert in Colorado Springs and decided to check this out! Simply Put:THE. BEST. I’VE. EVER. HAD!Ok now for the details. Line was a little long which is a great sign of a good place. I’d suggest they consider a second Point of Sale system to speed that up, I can’t imagine what it’s like during peak times. I went on a Sunday night at 9:00 pm on Labor Day Weekend and it was packed. What’s this place like on a Friday at 7:30? 🤷🏻‍♂️ not sure but it’s still worth the wait!The staff was super friendly and helpful. They answered my questions and didn’t rush me along.This is where the flavors are amazing! I honestly wanted to get 4 different kinds.The Silly Rabbit was so good! The inside tasted like cereal milk.The cookie crumble was mine and was amazing! The pieces of cookie dough and Oreos were so good and there was fudge on the inside of the cone! Wow!The You’re So Cheesy was wild! Tried this as well and it’s a wild, amazing combination! It was so good!Long story short, this was so so so good. Give it a try! I’d eat here all the time if I lived close!

Its a great little spot to stop if you want a cone of vanilla soft serve covered in cheese. No really. Hey it may be up your alley but Ill still say you should try the silly rabbit

I came in and was immediately impressed by the vibes. Izzy was so friendly and suggested a flavor!!! I couldn’t resist what she was describing and i got a vanilla cup with a caramel center and topping with potato chips on it

The ladies at the counter seemed annoyed that I didnt know what I wanted immediately. I was the only person in line.. ice cream was pretty good.

Been here a couple times. Theres a young lady who works there and makes every visit such a nice one. Shes polite, helpful and very sweet. Love her pretty blue and black hair.

We loved it here. They serve uniquely bedazzled soft serve. Outside you can play some games or just sit on one of their tables or benches.It was a very chill and modern experience.

We had 3 basic b, thick mint, and gone camping. All were good but gone camping was the clear winner. It was a great way to celebrate biking 16 miles down 3000 feet on the gold camp mountain biking with pikes peak bike tours- both are MUST do thing if you are in Colorado Springs.

This place is awesome and the people that work there are even better. Went by today with my niece to get some icecream to cheer her up and they werent open yet. They saw the sad look on my nieces face and came out and told us they would open up just for her and give her a cone. She was thrilled. You all made her day! Thank you for being so great!

Love this place!!! The staff is helpful and very friendly. The 2 girls, Jordan and Sierra we terrific in helping my kids decide what to get!! Can’t wait to go back and try something else!!!

Cool atmosphere, however the actual flavor of the soft serve ice cream was weird, it just didnt taste like chocolate OR vanilla. Their signature cones were all really weird flavor combinations as well. I was not a fan.

Interesting ice cream choices. Favorite so far is the Thick Mint. I would recommend getting any of the flavors that have a “core” filling like the fudge.

My family and I were looking forward to going to this place. Unfortunately, none us liked the ice cream and thought it had no flavor. We also thought the fudge core had a weird after taste and the cone tasted like cardboard.

I love this really cool ice cream shop! They have some really creative flavor combinations that satisfy my salt and sweet tastes. I had the cheesey one. If youre adventurous or love caramel cheese popcorn, this is definitely one you should try. I cant wait until its warmer, so my family and I can enjoy their treats on their patio.

Unique little soft serve shop. Ice cream was not too sweet and came with so many different toppings that Id never seen anywhere else. We had the peanut butter chocolate cone, but the cheezy one was very tempting. Will have to make a second trip!

I really like this place but the times they say they are open, I show up from across town and they are closed. It says they updated their hours a weekago and new hours posted on the door, but I show up last night 25 minutes before they say they close(10pm) and the people outside who are eating fresh ice cream tell me they just closed.I dont know what kind of management is going here but it doesnt seems like they care to much about losing customers and money because there was easily another group of 4 behind us that was mad about the early closure.Please go back to being a professional business.

Nice location with several other restaurants and outdoor seating.The cups and cones tasted good (somewhat pricey) but are very messy when toppings are added.Mine immediately was dripping all over my hands. Super sticky. There was a line into the restrooms for hand washing. Others there were also struggling with this. Solution- provide cups that can contain the contents.👍

Took my neice here today. Very yummy! Wish they had some more options, like sizes and flavors to accommodate the kids.

The flavor options are all pretty weird. The soft serve itself isnt very creamy or yummy.

Cashier charged me for an extra ice cream and had to wait 15 minutes for a manager... all the while, the ice cream was melting. Staff was very nice and seemed embarrassed about the managers lack of interest in customers

Not impressed. The ONLY ice cream they have is vanilla soft serve, and it’s not that flavorful, and a bit salty. Not worth it at all, especially for the price. The costumer service was also brut and short, which is not what individuals or families should experience at an ice cream shop. Go to josh n johns instead.

Overall a great place to get some interesting and fun ice cream! The decor has a fun and funky retro feel that goes along with the awesomely named cones that they make like Basic B!

Frozen Gold is my new go-to place for a frozen treat. Fun and inviting atmosphere for people of all ages. Located in a great area between Atomic Cowboy and Dos Santos. The Samoa is a great vegan option.

Really good ice cream the only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because when we went the cotton candy machine was down and literally minute after we got our order it goes back up we are sitting in eating the workers couldve offered the cotton candy that my daughter didnt get with her cone but good place overall

The frozen coconut cream alternative is amazing!! However, 5 out of the seven times we have driven there to get it- they were “out of it”Super frustrating to make a special trip for nothing! The menu is small, so you’d think it wouldn’t be hard to keep it in stock. Wish they’d get it together!!!

Was pretty good. The toppings were fun on the ice cream cones. Husband and daughter liked theirs too.

Good, but expensive soft serve ice cream

Arrived at 9:40 (Thurs) and they were closed despite hours posted of 10pm closing. Had driven from the north end of CS. Myself, my guests and another group of 4 were really upset they didnt follow their hours and wasted 40 minutes of drive time and gas for nothing. Employee was cleaning up, but wouldnt open back up when they had 8 customers wanting service during business hours.

A great place to chill and eat far too many calories. The ice creams r huge. We each got our own and threw half away. Next time we will share and I suggest you do that as well. The ice cream is very rich so don’t forget water!

It was delicious but incredibly rich, split it and it was perfect.

Best soft serve I have tasted in town. Many of the menu options come with a soft core center, which is a yummy touch. They also do have a vegan option.

I was expecting way more about this place. I know its soft serve, but ive had soft serve with more flavor before. The menu is good, lots of unique selections to chose from. But like i said, it just need more flavor. Maybe they added too much water to the mix..idk. but the selection was good and prices were good for the size.

A unique twist on traditional soft serve ice cream. My wife and I tried the Somoa Somoa and the cookie crumbles. Both delicious. So staff was very helpful and friendly. Prices reasonable.Reason for 4 stars is chocolate fudge on the Cookie Crumbles was too sweet and over powering. And coconut soft serve in the Somoa Somoa was too salty for my taste. You could definitely shared one if you dont have a strong sweet tooth.Will come back to taste more flavours.

Something new and creative to try and definitely did not disappoint! Would recommend buying a small if youre eating one by yourself, large is HUGE but great for the price.

Vegan ice cream, vegan fudge, vegan caramel...not to be missed

I would recommend Frozen Gold to anyone. The service is always fantastic and the ice creams are fun, original, and most importantly delicious. They have a great vegan option, but I would warn any non-vegan that the coconut ice cream base is an acquired taste. The atmosphere and the style of the building is very unique and cool, absolutely kid friendly but enjoyable for all ages. If youre a new costumer, Id recommend the Silly Rabbit first!

Best ice cream in Colorado Springs! Great vegan options as well. This is the best block for food and drinks in town.

The ice cream looks nice in the photos but not the same in real life. The ice cream was very salty especially the caramel and chocolate. I don’t know if they are just trying to achieve a sweet & salty flavor but it was so salty that it wasn’t sweet. The general idea and look of the place is quite modern and clean though!

It is easy to swoon over Frozen Gold’s Instagram worthy creations, but was disappointed in my experience, the quality, and felt the price point was too high for the final product.Two of the three flavors were unavailable, leaving us only coconut ice cream and limiting our options significantly. I hope this was just an anomaly for my first visit, because I love the idea and ascetic of the place.

Absolutely amazing! This is not a “soft serve ice cream place” - they offer 10 incredible sundaes featuring the best soft serve you’ve ever had. I had the “Gone Camping” which had a toasted marshmallow ring on the cone, chocolate ice cream covered with chocolate covered graham cracker pieces and candied nuts. Whatever you choose, you’ll be sure to love!The staff were super friendly and enthusiastic about making sure every cone was perfect. The 70’s theme of the store is really cool, and the seating area outside had corn hole and lots of tables/chairs.

What a cool place, soft serve ice cream with a unique savory angle. Wholesome, family-friendly, utilitarian and its simple simple presentation. I was fascinated to find Cheetos and salted potatoes on the condiment, then I remembered I have just crossed into the Southwest flare and this has a south-of-the-border nod to be noticed. This whole block has hams together some wonderful gibbster fair with with shared porches direct archways, rusted iron, distressed brick.coffee shops, distilleries and big corporate bars. Well worth experiencing

Fair price and EXTREMELY tasty- the Samoa is my favorite (can’t even taste it’s vegan!) and the mint one is delicious as well I can’t wait to try them all I’ll be back again and again! Very disappointing experience. Doesn’t live up to the hype. During my visit they were out of 2 of their 3 flavors: chocolate and vanilla. I declined to get any ice cream, but they highly recommended their coconut ice cream. It wasn’t enjoyable at all and definitely wasn’t worth the price.The quality and amount of ice cream isn’t worth the price they charge, the trip downtown, and the hassle of paying to park.

So good every time! I really like the cereal milk core. Trust me... its way better than youd expect. I brought my dog once, and they gave her a pup cup and water. It was great.

I had the Basic B which was vanilla ice cream dipped in a thick chocolate that hardened with salt added on a cone and it was just alright. My wife had the Thick Mint which looked delicious but the chocolate ice cream was bitter and the fudge core was a deep strong fudge taste. She didn’t even finish it and I didn’t like it either so we threw it out. For what you pay it should be better. $5.95 each cone or cup.

Such tasty ice-cream! Just wish they would offer smaller sizes. If they did it would be five stars all the way and I would go more often.

Located near downtown, this ice cream shop is the perfect dessert spot!The staff is very professional and the ice cream is self is delicious and pretty big portions!

I wouldn’t pay this price again for mediocre flavor. The fudge core was excessively salty in my husbands ice cream and the ice cream itself wasn’t sweet enough to offset the salt. My ice cream was lacking any core until I reached the bottom 1/8in (which I wasn’t upset about after tasting the fudge). I’d rather go with the sweetness of McDonald’s or Dairy Queen soft serve in the future, and the prices are much better for those too.

Definitely doesnt live up to the hype. Vegan ice cream was grainy, and not good. If vegan , your money would be better spent on a pint of vegan ice cream from the store.

Very creative, kids will be thoroughly impressed at these soft serve masterpieces, truly a memorable spot for them. I also think the menu selection is very smart. The exact opposite of Cold Stone, you wont be bogged down by millions of options and long waits as a result. Just ten items to choose from, and plenty of return potential to try them all. Well done!

Super fun soft serve dishes ! They have primarily three flavors, but the creations make the flavors pop more. I had their Samoa Samoa. The base was a coconut vegan soft serve and it was topped with toasted coconut pieces, caramel, and chocolate. It DEFINITELY taster like the girl scout cookie ! ! ! I would for sure come back to try each and every flavor! ! !

Unique concept. Good serving size. $6. Get napkins and maybe an extra cup - it can be messy! I wasn’t brave enough to try the cheese one but might if I go back 🤔. I got the Somoa with the non vegan ingredients - very good! The rice crispies added a nice crunch!

Frozen Gold is a very unique ice cream experience. With frozen yogurt covered in a variety of toppings from Graham crackers to potato stix, you can definitely find something for everyone. They will often feature a core of caramel or chocolate which is really delicious. Its also got some really cool retro decor. Its connected to Fat Sullys/Denver Biscuit Company so you can easily grab some food in the same stop. Definitely worth checking out.

Great place for unique soft serve ice cream! It was a fun stop for new flavors and also great service. They had four flavors to choose from when we visited (vanilla, chocolate, candy corn and vegan coconut) and twelve fun ice cream combos. They also play awesome music!!

Over-priced and too much. Its really hard to mess up ice cream. The flavor options were overwrought and veered far to heavily on the sweet side. Keep it simple. I recommend a re-design of the menu and fast. The caption on the building facade read something along the lines of consider yourself soft-served. This couldnt be farther from the truth...literally. The plastic rim around the cone (designed for the purpose of preventing melted soft serve from dripping all over your hand) collects your melting desert. Consumers beware: dont tilt that cone for a lick or youre sure to get a tray full of soft serve all over your Sunday best.Tasty Freeze is where its at for soft serve. Head on over there instead to spare your wallet and clothing.

My wife and I decided to try Frozen Gold after seeing a segment on the local news. Although the ice cream was good, the size of the ice cream cones were considerably smaller than portrayed on the news. I dont believe the portion justified the nearly $6 price.

Before COVID this was our favorite spot. Went last night and what a joke. Paid $12.88 for 2 cones that barely equaled to 1 cone(before covid). People are struggling I get it, but when you use the last of your money to have a treat and get only half of what you used to is bunk. We will not be returning because they have lost the touch and cut back on serving size without changing their prices to reflect such😔

The service great, you can tell the folks that work there love the product they are selling, which always makes for a good experience. I had the cookie crumbles which was delicious! My BF had the Samoa Samoa, which is his favorite Girl Scout cookie, but because it was vegan it had an odd after taste. Please make a non vegan option! We still had a great experience and will definitely be returning.
