I’ve used them at a house before and they are well priced and reliable. However- I called to get 3 more homes done, and they told me I could not schedule anything until the next week because there is only 1 person that can schedule appointments and they weren’t there for that week.I went ahead and scheduled with someone else, just very inconvenient and I think they should have more than 1 person that can schedule just so that person can have time off!

Dallas, the service tech did a great job getting our Mini Split system repaired after moth infestation shorted out our main control board in the compressor case. Dallas replaced the board and did a complete clean and service of the cooling head and compressor unit. His cleaning job of the cooling head was very thorough, much better than the last company I used. He suggested adding a few moth balls in the compressor unit to keep moths out.I will use Robbins again if needed

I had Robbins come out and service our mini split. I gave them the error I was having (low refrigerant) right after install by another entity. They charged the system and tested the output, all seemed to be good.Sadly they didnt catch that on my two head system the wiring was reversed from the way the refrigerant lines were hooked up. It was obvious enough that when I started getting the new error I was able to self diagnose. This would have shown if the tech didnt turn both heads on at the same time to max cooling which forced both valves to open and the system could not detect the problem at that moment. The tech was respectful and good otherwise.I reversed the wires to match the refrigerant lines and the system has been working great sense.

The initial appointment we were quoted as having the installation of an air conditioner at 6-8 hours. The technician, Don, spent 3 days installing the unit. After the air conditioning unit was installed, it failed the county inspection, requiring them to send out another technician to fix the problems.The technician that installed the unit, Don, ensured us that, after two days of installation, the unit was complete and operating perfectly. Three days later, the technician returned unexpectedly and unscheduled to install a vent to the unit. This vent ensures that harmful chemicals are exited outside of the home. These harmful chemicals were not properly vented for over three days.I spoke to the supervisor of the technician, Steve, and he ensured me that the unit was properly installed and that the technician, Don, would not have to return. This was was not true, as Don then returned to my home to install the vent.During the installation, the technician, Don, used profanities in front of my children and broke the trim around the crawl space for my attic and did not inform me of the broken trim or try to remedy it.I absolutely believe that there is no oversight or management of any kind for this company. The actions of the technician Don, and his supervisor, Steve, show a complete lack of professionalism. I will definitely inform my neighbors and friends of the horrible service that this company provides and will advise them to choose a different company.

We recently had Robbins come out for an annual furnace service, Mike was our technician and he was professional, pleasant and skilled. He found a few issues with our furnace and made several suggestions. We reviewed his suggestions and opted to get a quote on a new furnace. Mike made a call and Steve came out within 30 minutes, rearranging his schedule to make it easier for our family. Steve presented different system options, sent detailed quotes and left us all the information we needed to make a good decision for our home. We looked into second opinions as a matter of due diligence and found Robbins to be the most competitive bid. George and Tom came out to do the install, they were on time and fantastic. George included my 3 year old son, making him feel like a huge helper. George and Tom went above and beyond during the entire install process to inform us, include us and be consummate professionals. We highly recommend Robbins for all levels of service for you heating needs.

Sold me a 16 SEER ac unit but the rating on the unit was only 14.5. Paid an extra $1000 for a unit called 16 Seer. Talked to salesman and his only option was to take it out and refund our money. Brochure says up to 17 SEER. Definitely false advertising.

I hired Robbins 2 times when my furnace stopped working and both times they went above and beyond my expectation. 2 days ago they replaced my furnace and did a great job. Steve was great with explaining in detail 3 different units in a way that was easy to understand.I was told installation will take 6-8 hrs, but it was done in 3 hrs. He also got me a thermostat that I wanted without additional cost. Great company!Will recommend them to everyone I know

I just had my yearly furnace check-up completed...was so efficient and thorough and the price is by a yearly (3 year in my case) contract. The price is very fair for the work done to keep my furnace operational. This is the very same company that installed my furnace back in 1975 and it is still doing well. It is hot water heat and even though it is old, it is such a simple system that it just continues to do the job! We have been very happy with Robbins Heating and Air Conditioning through the years.

Overall it was a positive experience. The AC works great and the installers were very personable and knowledgeable. They got the work done in a reasonable amount of time. They arranged the inspection for us, on the days we preferred and were able to tell us the extra things we would need such as extra fire alarms and Co2 monitors in order to pass inspection They took their time to explain things to us and advised us on moving our thermostat and the best option available to us which did include them not doing the work and saving us some money instead. The Cons: They forgot the vents to the door twice and the 2nd time were unaware that they needed them but were able to call and get someone to deliver them quickly. The electrician they use as their preferred professional is insanely hard to get a hold of (he did a very good job though). I had to call him multiple times and leave multiple messages over multiple days before I got a response. They missed an appointment to charge the AC because of snow and said they called me but the only missed call I had was after the appointment time had already passed and they did not leave a message. We had someone waiting at the house for them for quite some time before we called them and they said they werent coming. You cant control the weather but their communication seems a bit lacking. But I would still recommend them as an installer.

Central air decided to have issues during the hottest part of the summer. They sent a tech in the time frame which worked best for my schedule. Frank was running ahead of scheduled and called to see if he could come earlier! Diagnosed the problem very quickly, fixed both units and provided fantastic education on proper AC maintenance. Price was very reasonable and wont hesitate to use them again and to recommend them.

We had a brand new AC Unit installed in our recently purchased house, which was built in 1954. The Robbins team did an amazing job ensuring that everything was hooked up correctly. Because the wiring in our house is a bit older the installation took more time than expected, but they stuck to their estimate and ensured they left with the best product in place. When winter rolled around a few months later, we had an issue switching to our heater. They came out and quickly fixed the issue for no additional fee. They have amazing customer service and work ethic, and Ill be recommending them to all family and friends in the future!

Amazing customer service from the get go! Originally it was supposed to be an after hours job due to the fact I had called that day at like noon. Got a call back in 20 minutes saying a tech was on his way and that it was no longer going to be an after hours job. In my opinion that is above and beyond Customer service. Tech was able to figure out the problem right away did a check up and the AC was up and running and less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this company to friends and family!

Initially I wrote this review as a 2 star rating and redacted it however Robbins needs to step it up! I had our system serviced 3 weeks ago. Going into this service it had no problems, but now I have wet mildewing floors because their technician has now twice incorrectly reconnected the condenser hose. When I asked Robbins to pay for carpet cleaning or at least provide fans to prevent mildew they refused. When I asked them to comp the visit to make up for me needing to have the carpets cleaned they refused. Initially I gave them two stars because the technician was courteous but after he now twice failed a simple but critical task and his company refused to back his work I am out of patience. It’s now 2 days before Christmas I have family in town and my carpets are soaked!You broke a system that was fixed Robbins. Please call me and get this properly resolved!Update: they never called me back despite me reaching out to them approximately 6 times. I ended up paying for fans, carpet cleaning and they gave NO discount for their less than optimal work.Shame on you Robbins!

Our furnace went out during the night. Next morning I called Robbins Heating and they dispatched a tech right away. Chris came out within 45 minutes of my request for service. He checked everything over, cleaned it, and replaced a part. He explained everything he was doing and was super personable. The total cost was very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this company.

I have used Robbins for several years and have never been disappointed and have referred them to others. Workers are professional and do not try to over-sell me on additional needs. Have a 25 year old furnace that I have them clean and check annually which has served me well. Highly recommend.

On December 5, 2019 we called Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning to service our furnace due to it not responding to our programmed thermostat temperature. They cleaned the flame sensor for a charge of $89.00. February 13, 2020 Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning came out AGAIN due to the furnace/thermostat not maintaining the programmed temperature. Essentially the same problem we had on 5 December 2019. They said the thermostat was not wired to the furnace, only running on the thermostat battery, and they would be happy to fix the problem for $150. A 5 minute fix BTW. The impression we got was they were looking for a reason to charge extra for the trip out to our home. It was validated when we were told by Honeywell that our thermostat was already wired for power via our electric utility company, and the batteries were only a backup. Basically, the only wire that they connected was the blue wire and cleaned up the other color wires, all other wires were already connected. As a result, it was essentially a lie that the furnace was running on the other wires and not just thermostat battery. Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning told us there would be no diagnostic charge for the February visit, since they were coming out again regarding the same problem we had in December. However, we were charged $149.99 minus $50.00 coupon to equal $99.99 to connect the blue wire on the thermostat and check the furnace operation. A blatant overcharge. Besides, they found nothing wrong with the furnace. In fact, they said if the problem continued, it was a bad thermostat. Needless to say we continued having the problem after a couple of weeks with the thermostat not maintaining the programmed temperature. Therefore, at their recommendation, we changed the thermostat and it did NOT fix the problem. Our recommendation to all future customers is to NOT use Robbins Heating & Conditioning. Even when we left a message for the owner to contact us regarding this situation on March 2 we received no phone call back. As a result, we left a message for the owner to contact us AGAIN on March 6. Steve, one of the owners, called us back on March 6. We explained the situation and said we should not still be having the problem after we replaced the thermostat per their technician. We felt like they took advantage of us with the visit on February 13 and still never fixed the problem. We asked to be reimbursed the charge from December and February. Steve said they couldnt reimburse the December bill, since it was after the 30 day warranty period (all they did was cleaned the flame sensor). He also said he couldnt reimburse the February bill since they had to charge the diagnostic charge of $75.00 and they could only reimburse us $25.00. We explained there was to be no diagnostic charge of $75.00. The only line item on the bill was to rewire the thermostat and check the furnace operation, nothing about a diagnostic charge.As a result, we called another company that actually fixed the problem, which was a bad flame sensor and was even cheaper. The furnace and thermostat have been working properly after a different company came out and fixed the actual problem. A problem that Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning couldnt fix since December 2019 but were happy to keep charging us for potential solutions.Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning provides extremely poor customer service. The owner never called us back until we left two messages. They lied to us about the thermostat being the problem (or were incompetent), charged us for a diagnostic check in February when it wasnt warranted, and never permanently fixing the problem. Consequently, we will NEVER use this company again or refer them to anyone. We hope others will learn from our personal experience and go elsewhere.BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY LIE AND RIP PEOPLE OFF!

We have been using Robbins for a cpl of years now. They kept a swamp cooler unit running that was probably the original unit to the home. And replaced it today, after squeezing us in and not making us wait weeks. We were spoken to respectfully and given options for various budgets by Richard. Richard went above and beyond to work us into his schedule and even met with us later to solidify the details. Our furnace also is original and needs replacing for efficiency reasons. —Never— do I feel pressured, I am only ever provided with helpful info and their help to keep us running.Brenda is always the poor lady that gets stuck with me on the phone in my moments of panic. She got us on schedule when we were due to have people in our home for graduation. And she knows what our schedule is so they can best service us when we need it and is best for us. Probably the best customer service phone person I have spoken to since I have lived in New Mexico.I have had a cpl of the guys at our home for swamp cooler and furnace starts and stops. Sorry guys I don’t remember all your names. But they are always polite respectful and clean. They talk to me so -I- can understand what is happening and what the options are. They also are very understanding and tolerant of barking dogs and curious kitties who try to inspect their tools. 😊Dee and Thijs were my techs today. And both were well spoken and polite. And fast!!!! They took the time at every point to make sure I knew what was happening.This is a business to be proud of with great employees. And I would recommend them to anyone who asks me.

My A/C quit working yesterday. I called Robbins first thing this morning and they sent Mike out before noon! After inspecting the outside unit, he brought the part inside to show us what was causing our unit to not work correctly and told us what it would cost to replace it before doing the work. 15 minutes later my A/C was fixed! Robbins Heating & Air Conditioning are honest, fast, dependable and their employees are courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and A+ competent! Even my pit bull approved of their technician lol. I was very impressed with the promptness of arrival and the friendliness of the technician. I was disappointed that additional services performed were not run by me before they were completed and I was billed for them. I wouldve appreciated the technician notifying me of the extra charges that I would incur on top of the regular maintenance that I had scheduled and was quoted a price on.

First off we received a phone call to see if we could be ready to have our cooler installed. This was much earlier than expected. What good fortune. Skyler and Derek arrived very quickly and went to work. In no time at all they had my old junky cooler down and the nice new Aerocool up on the roof. A little fabrication of the duct work and we were in business. Robbins is a very professional organization and easy to deal with. I especially liked the website so I could investigate all the cooler options to find which one we wanted. The site also showed some of their training. As someone who worked closely with OSHA and the EPA in the past I know that training is very important. As a business the appearance of their vehicles and uniforms is very professional.Thank you to all the staff who were so helpful, Brenda, Richard, Skylar and Derek.

Our initial experience with Robbins Heating & Air was relatively positive. Two days before a huge snowstorm was forecast, we woke up to a 54 degree house, our furnace and water heater having both broken overnight. We called Robbins initially to see if they could fix them, but knowing that they would both most likely need to be replaced. On the one hand, they sent a salesman, not a technician, judging by how he acted. He said they really needed to be replaced, but couldnt tell us at all WHY they had failed. He immediately pulled out brochures and sales pitches and sold us both a new water heater and furnace. On the other hand, they were able to do a rush job and get both our furnace and water heater installed within 24 hours, which was amazing since the day after they installed them we were dealing with below zero temperatures. The workmen seemed professional and knowledgeable and there were no extra charges or hidden fees.However, 2 months later we found the water heater was leaking. We called Robbins to come and see what was wrong. The technician determined that it totally wasnt their fault: there was an issue with a water pressure regulator and that was causing the issue. He explained that Robbins did not replace this kind of thing, and there was nothing he could do. And when asked, he said that Robbins does not bother to check whether the water pressure is correct when installing new water heaters. And then he charged us $70 for the privilege of him coming over to tell us he cant do anything and it totally wasnt their fault.In all, if youve done a ton of research and are replacing a water heater or furnace on your own time, these guys might be ok, but be prepared for a lengthy sales pitch with multiple attempt to up-sell random accessories. If its an emergency, they might be able to get things installed fast, but they wont care about what might have caused the initial failure and certainly wont do anything to try and make sure your new crazy expensive heater wont fail again within a few weeks. And if you call them to look at a problem later, fully expect them to do nothing and charge you for it--and dont expect them to tell you this either. We called them about the issue and the response was essentially, sure, well come take a look. No mention of how much this would cost, implied since they installed the water heater they could diagnose issues. It wasnt until he decided that there was nothing he could do that he mentioned, oh yeah, itll be $70 just for having someone come out.

This company has no moral fiber. One of their techs ran over my dog and did not stop afterwards. The tech did not slow down like everybody else did on the road, he just plowed right over my precious dog. When we reached out to them to discuss what happened, they blamed us. Typical victim blaming. I know i would not want someone to come to my house to service appliances from a company that has no remorse or value for others lives.

I called Robbins because I needed a second opinion. My heating boiler was shutting down and would not stay lit. I called the HVAC company we have used before and the repairman told me I needed a new boiler for $7800 dollars and the CO was unsafe for it to continue operating. I suspected a scam so I called Robbins to see what another company - one listed on Angies list - would tell me. The repairman from Robbins cleaned and repaired my boiler for less than a tenth of the first companys quote. He found a defective valve and instead of charging for a new one, he took it apart, cleaned it, and it functions as good as new. Saved me $300 right there. The CO was a zero reading when he left. I will be calling Robbins first from now on.

Water heater failed. Called Robbins Heating hoping to get someone that day. Unlike 2 others I called, they were there to assist that day. Chris arrived 2 hours later with new water heater and did the installation. If you ever have an emergency like this, Robbins is the only place to call.

Signed up for their scheduled maintenance where they tune your system in the fall and spring. Their tech in the fall broke a wire near my furnace, so the AC wouldnt kick on in the spring. On top of my spring maintenance I had to pay an additional service charge to fix the issue. The spring tech said the wire was nowhere near somewhere a filter/etc that would have been accidental to break during normal operations and swapping filters. So I basically paid to have them break and the also fix my system. After several talks they refused to do anything about it. Will certainly be using a new provider.
