The staff is friendly, efficient, and goes out of their way to help. As a person in a wheelchair some things needed are a little difficult getting set up to accommodate me. Jessica went beyond kind to be sure I was comfortable with all the machine set ups and the pretesting went quickly and smoothly. My appointment began on time with no waiting and was a pleasure the whole time. I was able to be out in under 40 min. from arrival. Ive been a patient with Chapel Hills Vision since 1986 and appreciate the excellent evaluations, testing, and treatment Ive consistently received from Dr. Guhl and Dr. Cid.

Chapel Hills Vision is a great provider. The office is very welcoming and warm; the staff is always professional and courteous; the equipment is new and modern; and the Doctors are all amazing and very knowledgeable. I went to Chapel Hills for the first time this month. I had an absolutely wonderful experience! My doctor, Dr.Toledo, was AMAZING! She took great care of me, she was patient, answered all of my questions and really helped me understand what was going on. Dr. Frerichs was great with my 11 yr old and 16 yr old sons. Two days before their appointment I had gotten something in my eye and couldnt get it out. I mentioned it to him and he found time to fit me into the schedule. He was able to remove the foreign body that had been driving me crazy for 2 days. Thank you for your excellent service and care!

This place is superlative in every way! The entire staff goes above and beyond to be both friendly and efficient. Dr. Cid is diligent about finding the best solution to any vision issue, and has a connecting and outgoing demeanor. My husband and I have both been patients here for many years and recommend it enthusiastically. It’s first class all the way.

Really disappointed in this office. While they’ve never “wow-ed” me, after several years of using them, I’m finally leaving. The front desk staff is crazy disorganized. Over the years, I’ve been over charged, they can’t seem to get me my records now to leave. We recently changed insurance. The insurer’s site shows them as a provider. They can’t figure it out. I spent hours dealing with them. They didn’t keep me update or call back in a timely manner even though I’d explained my husband needed replacement glasses ASAP. Also, during the height of Covid, office staff would pull up their masks to talk to my kids. They also wore masks below their noses. Not what you want during a pandemic. Do yourself a favor and find a better eye doctor.

I right on schedule. Everyone on the staff was prompt, friendly and professional. Dr. Cid conducted a thorough examination of my eyes, answered all of my questions, and gave me suggestions of how I can better care for my eyes.This is a great group! I’m a few years late, but a couple years ago I was transitioning out of the military and trying to pursue a career in law enforcement. Due to my color blindness, I kept failing the required vision test. I came to chapel hills and they were able to make a custom contact lens that miraculously fixed it. To say the least, I now work for the feds and it’s all thanks to Chapel Hills! Thanks again!!!!

Chapel hills vision clinic is conveniently located by the shops at briargate and I-25. I live very kind and thorough and have a great shot we can get glasses right there with knowledgeable workers that know what they are doing. Dr.Frerichs is thorough, gentle, and a compassionate doctor. He listens to the patients needs and I never feel rushed, yet both my daughter and I were out in 30 minutes and my daughter was fitted with glasses. I showed up here without an appointment or being a regular patient at 730 in the morning.. My son was in pain with some sort of debris in his eye. The staff, without even asking for ins or payment, simply said lets have a look right away They took him in the back and the Doctor came in right away. While the nurse took my info, the doctor was looking at the damaged eye. Within monuments the doctor had found the debris, removed it and gave him some eye drops to help with the pain. I wasnt even finished with the paper work and my son was feeling better. This Doctor and staff were more concerned with my sons safely and pain then they were with how they were going to get paid. I just couldnt believe the level of concern they had for someone they had NEVER met before. They are truly the standard ALL should follow. Thank you CHVC , may all of you be blessed.

Annual eye appointment with a new doctor. I wasnt sure what to expect with the social distancing and masking requirements. I was pleased to see that all of the staff are still their friendly and helpful selves. The new doctor answered all of my questions and was very helpful in explaining a change in the inner structure of one of my eyes. This practice continues to exceed my expectations for a vision clinic.

Dr. Goul and his staff not only conduct amazing eye exams, but if I come in and I am having a bad day they turn my frown upside down and Ill leave with my side aching and tears of joy falling from my eyes! Such a blessing :-) thank you thank you thank you!

After 11 years of glasses he was finally able to tell me what was actually wrong and got me the prescription I should be using. This is the first time I am excited to get my glasses back. These folks are wonderful! Olivia spent time with me going through vendors online to locate frames of the size I needed. She ordered frames for me to check out. I selected two frames that were great, one for distance and one for computer/reading bifocals. Olivia then worked with the lab to ensure that my difficult prescription was done correctly. The result was two high-quality pairs of glasses. I have not had such complete, professional, and friendly service provide by any other optician in town! I heartily recommend these folks.
