I felt like the meat market was very clean. Retailers in the meat market used good clean practices and the girl who helped me was excellent. The prices were a bit more than I expected but still reasonable.

Very unprofessional. We sold pastries to them and had constant problems. There staff is rude and constantly touches product that is not theres. We would find it moved and each time we were told by the manager that she did not have time to do her job and make sure that our product was left alone. We had to stop delivering to them because they do not know how to handle there own store.

I went last week in the evening, this was our 3rd time going. Great selection of meat, veggies, spices, and other Mexican items you might like. The first two time it was very busy but staff was friendly and helpful. This last time they had some younger kids working at the meat section. He was very rude and had a bad Attitude through the entire transaction. Instead of asking us to elaborate he would go back to his fiends and seemed to make fun of what we were asking for. For that one rude person I won’t take away how good the store is. I would recommend this place but would hope they get with their staff on customer service.

A little small and cramped, but full with everything you need from a grocery store. They sell a wide variety of meat and are always well stocked with vegetables, and Mexican goods! They have a great sweet bread section (donuts, conchas, muffins, etc. )They speak Spanish and English and are well equipped to deal with customers of every variety!

Great place to buy meat! Friendly staff were receptive to taking a bulk order of meat. Later in the day towards closing there werent many people so it was pretty quick. In general, I can safely say I plan on making this my regular stop for bulk purchases. I would add that it seems like a great place to get any quantity... I had the feeling the place was run very professionally and the staff knew what they were doing.

This store is Awesome!! If they dont have a particular Hispanic/Latin product, they will order it. The owner is personable and welcoming to all the customers. Additionally, the little restaurant inside the store serves a delicious meal selection. I have Never come in contact with any rude people there. Everyone has always been friendly and respectful when I shop there, so I dont understand a different persons experience and negative review.

This place was a suggestion from a friend when we asked if there were any good latino markets in the area. Its not close to us, but worth the drive. Lots of products. I wanted the empanada discos and they had so many. WooHoo!!! I mean, you can make them yourself, but having them premade is just the perfect way to feed a big family in short order.

Such a cute little market. Ive only ever had their breakfast burritos, and they are a little pricy but super yummy. They are big, and have the perfect amount of eggs, potato, meat and beans. They have a hidden drive thru which is perfect for COVID times. Inside is a small market with produce, meat, and groceries. Mostly Spanish speakers shop here but the staff all speak English

Carniceria staff are rude. Management really needs to put the ticket machine where its visible. Myself and several others were confused and staff had an attitude when we asked about tickets. Waaaaay over priced from the meat to canned goods to the sweet bread. As a latina Im sad to see that this is one of the few options in the Springs.

Nice place, yes. Has a lot of Mexican/Hispanic.Pan dulce? Not good. It’s extremely dry especially the conchas.I went there originally for barbacoas. I asked for barbacoa by the lb and came back home to chunks of carne desherbada which is beef brisket which is made for stews. Barbacoa and carne desherbada are two completely different cuts of meat. They look similar but taste different, even the texture is different.I called and complained that I got something different from what I ordered. The lady said that’s how some parts of Mexico do it. I guess... I’m first generation America and my family from Monterrey so maybe I don’t know any better. I called my mom to tell her what I got and she said last time she came to visit me, she went there and complained about the same thing. Finds out the owners aren’t Mexican so that’s probably why the food is the way it is. I won’t be going back again. #sadNow I have to figure out what to do with all this meat...

I attempted to go in there with my fiancé and the fat girl at the door asked if we were together. I answered yes and she said they were only allowing 1 person per family in. I go back and sit in the car just to watch 4 couples go in together and come out together with groceries. If you’re going to have a rule, make sure it applies to everyone and not just people of color. Yes, I am an African American and I’m not trying to play the race card. But, right is right and wrong is wrong. The fat girl at the door was wrong!!

This place is clean and the ladies who work there are always very busy making or doing something good! If you want fresh Mexican food, this small little diner is the place to go in Colorado Springs. Practice your Spanish as you order from a large picture board. And, when you are full and satisfied with your meal, shop or look around in the fine Mexican market next door. This is NOT your local Taco Bell. The food is authentic, inexpensive, and very, very tasty!Bad news! The prices of their food went way up, as of August 2018. I really like this place, but a burrito should not be near 10 bucks, IMHO!

I just got back from the restaurant. My husband got some carne asada & al pastor tacos. Everything was great until we discover pieces of badges and hair in three different tacos (asada). It was so gross, my son notice a piece of bandage in his taco then I got a bigger piece on mine and my husband got a hair too. I can’t understand why can’t they wear gloves when they have to touch the food and more if they have a cut in their hands. It’s the last time we buy food from this place. Don’t go there. It’s disgusting.🤮.
