The gentlemen at peak have been my auto repair shop from the previous owner. we all know not to trust until we know they are trust worthy. buds muffler replaced a muffler then told me Id need a new engine. all I needed was new spark plugs! Peak Auto was excellent even showing me how the old plugs were dirty. they even put in lights for no labor charge because Im on a tight budget. they are the best!😀

Awesome shop... Took my vehicle here and they fixed it the first time... Have had a lot of issues with other shops that try to overcharge , fix things that arent broken, or find things to charge me for... This shop, has done an excellent job on my truck and fixed a noise that two other shops misdiagnosed... And they did it fast, and efficiently and did not overcharge me... So as of now... I will be coming back.... They have done an excellent job and saved me a lot of money....

WOW! I was so impressed with their customer service, friendly and helpful staff, and high quality of work. I was traveling from Arizona and I had an issue that needed urgent attention so I could continue on my trip. In spite of being extremely busy, these guys went out of their way to get me back on the road without delay. Mike, the owner, took a personal interest in helping me out and Chad and Junior went out of their way to fit me in and make sure I was taken care of. All three of them were super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be able to help me out. To say that I was impressed with how they treated me really does not do it justice. Customer service like this is a lost art and it was a breath of fresh air to have the opportunity to work with these guys. They are honest, hard working and understand old school customer service, and I highly recommend them. Wish there were more than five starts to give them.

Today I went to try to get my flat tire replaced and even though they weren’t able to get me the tire I needed, they still showed me great care, honesty, and respect. We called Peak Auto and were told to bring the car in ASAP. As soon as our car arrived to the shop they got to work. Mike even drove us to our hotel and picked us up in our car once the work was done. I felt they were honest and fair. We traveled from Boulder to see a used car and Michael happily squeezed us in to inspect the vehicle last-minute. Not only that, he offered to pick us up and drive us back to the shop after we had lunch while waiting for them to finish inspection! Peak Auto is a Real Life Saver- Literally! CARING and COMPETENTI was traveling from Denver to the Springs when my car started vibrating... a lot. Worried, several places close to my location were contacted but none had appointments available and no one was willing to squeeze me in.Peak Auto was different. They understood that I was from out of town, reluctant to spend the night and they recognized I could be in danger. So, even though they had a full schedule (their bays and parking lot were full!) they agreed to see me AND do their best to get me back on the road that evening unless it was an issue where a part was unavailable.Thanks be to God I found them because within an hour of my arrival they discovered that my left front tire was ready to come off. No joke! Some bonehead (back in Denver) had not tightened the nuts properly. The vibrations I was feeling were my tire swaying back and forth. I literally could have lost a tire, wrecked and died, or killed someone.So because Michael and his crew (Chad and others) at Peak Auto were both CARING and COMPETENT I live to write this review. And they did this knowing that since I live so far away I might never see them again. Not to mention the work they did amounted to a very minimal charge. I wish their shop was in Denver! Honest professionals are hard to find.

Peak Auto Service is fantastic! We brought our truck in for an oil change and tire rotation - not only was the price among the lowest weve seen (and we travel full-time), but the service was incredible. We only have the one truck, so they drove us back and forth between our campground and their shop so I wouldnt have to wait around while they worked. Super nice, affordable, and a thorough inspection - highly recommend!

Not only do they do great work, but they are the most honest shop Ive ever gone to! Ive used Peak Auto a couple times now and every time Ive been happy with the quality of work and price. I want to share my most recent visit though. We brought in my fiancees car to get a second opinion after her usual place tried to sell her on a bunch of repair work that seemed a little suspect. I had visited Colorado on vacation and almost immediately the rental car was badly damaged due to a short series of unfortunate events. We were on our way from Denver to La Junta during the COVID-19 andemic for a family health emergency when our truck broke down. A bolt in the front on the track bar had lost its nut. We quickly searched the closest auto mechanic to our location and we found Peak Auto Service! Michael answered the phone at 4:58 (they close at 5pm)and said that they were closing but if we could get there they would wait. They were fantastic to wait and help us after hours and not take advantage of our dire situation. Mike and his mechanics provide maintenance services for my 2003 Mazda. On my second visit, a few weeks ago, I indicated it was probably time to replace tires purchased in 2013. It would have been easy for Mike to replace the tires, instead, he rotated the tires and advised they would last another 1.5 to 2 years.He encouraged me to stop by and check the level of the oil every couple of months - no appointment, necessary.The service is conscientious and knowledgeable. After hearing Mike’s explanation of the corrosive byproducts of combustion, I’ll be getting the oil changed on time.

My windshield washer motor died on a trip from Texas to Colorado Springs. And my windshield cracked. Michael fixed both in one day for a reasonable price.If I lived in Colorado Springs, this would be the only garage I’d use.

I only gave them 5 stars, because 6 was not an option. I am from out of state and had an electrical issue which prevented me from going on down the road. I arrived at 8:00 Monday morning and was worked very promptly. I was out the door, problem fixed in less than 2 hours. Chad seems very knowledgeable and was extremely courteous. I was very impressed w the whole operation. I can’t say enough good things about this business!

A great shop with guys that will be 100% honest with you

While on a cross country road trip, the brakes on our car started to go out. We stopped at one garage and were told they couldn’t do the work for several days. We called Peak and they were able to get us in immediately to replace the brake pads. They also did a vehicle safety inspection of the vehicle (at no additional charge) to make sure we were safe to continue on our way. Great service and would highly recommend using them!

I pulled upwith my car with my shifter not working and I can only go in reverse and forward he took one look at it that I had to replace the whole columnthat will cost $800 and it would be a month out well I took it to somewhere else and it cost $135 and it was fixed within an hour.

These guys are great. I had to have a new engine put in my truck, and while the service wasnt cheap (didnt expect it to be), Peak came in below most other shops. More importantly though, the job was done ahead of schedule and spot on with the estimate. So far, the new engine is running great and Im confident that any issues that arise will be dealt with. Mike and Chad are both good guys, and were helpful in keeping me informed while the job was in progress. Highly recommend for any work you may need done.

Mike and Chad are the best. I have taken our Sienna and Tundra there for over a year for oil changes and more. They have a 30ish or more point check with each oil change. I called this place yesterday to ask about tire repair. I had a tire with a hole in it that I was told was too close to the side wall to be fixed and I wanted a second opinion. Michael at Peak Auto Service told me to bring my car in and he would be happy to take a look and give me his opinion. He told me if he wasnt able to fix the hole, they could certainly try and find a used tire to replace my tire with.I took my car in today. Not only did Michael and his technician fix not one but two of my tires, but they got to work as soon as I arrived. It was clear they were working on other vehicles, but took 30 minutes to fix my tires so I didnt have to wait.Not only do they have great customer service and do quality work but the price they charged was very reasonable. I wont be taking my car anywhere else from now on. Thank you!

This shop is honest and up front in every dealing Ive had with them. They have treated my vehicles like they are working on their own car and I have always been very satisfied by their work. This is probably the best general repair shop in this city due to the quality of people that work there and the quality of work they do.

Chad and Mike are amazing. Mike spent hours researching for me different options for having my mirror replaced. They spent tons of time making sure I understood all my options and quoted me a very reasonable service charge. When something came up that they were not aware would need to be paid for, they took care of it for me. They did an excellent job replacing it and had it done by the end of the same day. They’re kind, efficient, reasonably priced, and genuinely just looking to help people. I highly recommend using them and should I need auto body repair in the future I will always go to them.

Make appointments in person. Theyre usually pretty busy and unfortunately they arent always able to pick up their phone. Also, despite what the listing says that theyre closed on weekends, I was able to make an appointment and bring my car in on a Saturday. They open at 10 am, instead of the usual 8 am on weekdays. Still not sure if theyre open on Sundays tho.

Just moved to Colorado from out of state and had a wire hanging from underneath my car. I stopped at Balta auto repair as I couldnt identify the wire and didnt want to drive far and the owner told me he was to busy to take two seconds to identify a wire for me and told me to go to another shop. Peak auto service not only looked at the wire for me right away but fixed the problem in a matter of 5 minutes and checked a few other things under my car to make sure I didnt do any other damage. I had such a great experience at peak Auto service that I will now take my car back for repairs, routine services and highly recommend them to my friends and family. I had a terrible smell coming from my SUV (like burnt rubber and propane) and Peak Auto was able to identify the problem, in addition to a couple other minor issues. Instead of charging me for the major problem (all-wheel drive unit/PTO), they recommended that I ask the dealer if they would be able to take care of it, as it was a common issue with this model. I did end up getting the PTO replaced through the dealer for FREE, and I owe Peak Auto for that. I will be returning to them for any of my automotive needs. Thanks again guys!

Honest and fair service. RJ. Is a good mechanic and Very knowledgeable. That is why his shop is always busy. He has fixed my Nissan Frontier twice, when I had a problem. One was when my trucks computer went out. Because Peak Auto Service fix it Im still driving it. I will letting RJ handle all my truck issues.

Incredible service. They called me a couple times the day I dropped off my car to let me know what was going on, what optional things they could fix, what might need to be ordered, etc. I feel like I got charged incredibly fairly for the services provided, and I would absolutely go back if I had any more car problems. Mike and Chad are both friendly and give excellent customer service, and if they find a new problem when working on your vehicle, they will take you into the auto bay to show you exactly what is wrong, and why it needs to be fixed. This place is amazing! I showed up on Saturday, which is their day off. My under carriage was dragging, and both mechanics that were there helped me out and fixed it in one minute. I am a returning customer, so they didn’t even charge me anything. They even cleaned off my headlight because it was foggy and they were concerned, and again they did not charge me anything. They are literally your neighborhood mechanic. Every interaction with them has been nothing but great!

These guys are top notch. Was visiting from out of town and took a drive from the Springs to Cripple Creek. On the way back on highway 67 my truck broke down. Managed to get a tow truck on a Sunday. While waiting googled repair shops near where we were staying in old colorado city. Peak AUTO was the closest and had great reviews, so took a chance and had it towed there. Received a call from Chad at about 815 Monday morning saying they had already check the truck over and it needed a fuel pump. Said he would be sure to check out the entire truck for us as well. They had everything completed by 3 pm. They also did a very thorough job of looking everything else over. Met the owner Mike when I picked it up and he went over all the details with me. In addition I have a 3 year 360000 mile warranty on their work good at any NAPA AUTO affiliated shop. So these guys took great care of everything and went out of their way to help us out. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their sevices.
