Got left on hold for 15 minutes even if everyones busy Id appreciate someone telling me that

Called them over the phone asked for electrical department the guy on the phone is utterly clueless on what anything is i asked for a 2 pull 50 amp GFCI breaker and he asked me if i wanted it in almond or white . its like dude do you even know what you guys sell in your own department you work in? didnt ask for a GFCI outlet I asked for a GFCI breaker .

Overpriced. I got 14ft of protective wire wrap from Harbor Freight for only $3. 7ft at Ace cost me $9!! Just the principal of the idea is frustrating. I wont shop at any Ace ever again. No wonder all these stores have theft problems and have items locked up. Sheesh

Went to get my 20lb propane tank filled today. The person who assisted me did not seem to be that familiar with the process. After .5 gallon was showing on the meter she decided the fittings were leaking. Disconnected everything and reattached but did not reset meter. Proceeded to fill it to 2.9 gallons and shut it off. According to what I read my tank should take approximately 4.7 gallons so she didnt fill it up in addition to charging me for a .5 gallon which probably went into the atmosphere. Not real happy with them at this point.

I dont come to Ace for too many things, but when I need out of the ordinary hardware, they always have it.The selection is spectacular!Also, I get my propane tanks refilled here.Its a much better deal than the trade in places.

I am blown away by the customer service I received at this location. I had a security key cut that ended up misbehaving as soon as I got my vehicle home and left me unable to drive. Jeff drove out to my house on two separate occasions and went above and beyond to solve a problem that ended up having nothing to do with his original work. Give this guy a raise! The owner, Derek, was responsive and understanding to help me achieve resolution to this issue. Both were personable and friendly despite my persistence and frustration. I am beyond satisfied and cannot praise these two highly enough. This is truly the place with the helpful hardware folks.

A huge selection of hardware. Great sales also. But the best part of this store is one of the biggest selections of Homemade (Mom & Pop) Colas and Root Beers, and Hot Sauces. Old school hard candies too!

Owning a food truck and picking up our propanre tank everyday we know what is close to in there. Today we decided to fill our 100lb tank due to a huge event tomorrow. I know it was close to a 1/4 full but charged a full 100lbs. I was shocked. They have never lied before. Ill be going somewhere else and letting all my fellow food truck owners know. Its expensive enough without being ripped off for overt 30$.

Nice hometown place and its close to Safeway - I wanted to make an update to be fair. The only reason for the 4-stars is because I didnt buy anything that trip so I didnt have a full experience. Of my times I have shopped there it was always positive. Thank you.

This is a great store. I’m in there a lot, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. The people there are like family. We get along great! If I can’t find something, someone always willing to help.

Every single time I call this location, it is an absolute miracle that they even answer the phone. In fact, just today, it took them almost 15 minutes to just do a stock check, and I still didnt get an answer!! This is a far departure from other stores.

Nice because it never has a lot of customers, but the staff is not well trained and the managers are awful. Showed up to the store 2 minutes after closing, asked if I could I purchase a bag of dog food and get out, I was practically pushed out the door. If there was a store closer that sold the same food, I would shop elsewhere.I may start driving further just to spend my money elsewhere.

I mean after 5 times coming to this place all at different times they have not been able to fill my RV with propane just sad

I put 1 star only because I didnt have a negative star option! I had 2 gallons of paint custom mixed one right after the other. When I went to use it the first can had a separation issue. There was a clear liquid on top that would not mix in. The 2nd can was perfect. I attempted to return the bad one for a remake.The manager refused to replace it accusing me of adding something to it. When I pointed out it was unopened until yesterday and anything that was or wasnt in the can came out of his paint mixing machine and requested he look into it in order to determine what had happened. He told me I must leave immediately or he was going to have me arrested for trespassing! When I asked to be put in contact with the supervisor. He informed me that he was the top person and what he said was final and once again threatened me with trespassing charges! The manager is out of control and needs to lose his job !!!

Worst Ace in town. Have had nothing but poor service several times. Emailed corporate about the first issue with regards to them keying a door knob incorrectly and the worst customer service from the store manager the only email I got was an auto generated email and never got any follow up.Happened again today went in for a lock and gasket for a hot water heater with my kids. The gal treated me like a bother asking her to unlock the locks so I can get one. I asked for location of gaskets she pointed me across the store to plumbing dept. Found gaskets was completely ignored by all sales associates I had to track them down for help they didnt help they kept telling me to go to another aisle. I even got sent back over to the gal that helped me with the lock again I was a bother to her. Not a single person asked to see the part I was looking for or even took care in helping.Ace the helpful hardware folks is not the culture in this store.

They want to screen what i want yo buy before i am allowed in.Letting a very small amount of people in at once so you are expected to wait outside for 15 min. This is thier own policy so go to big R for your needs. I will taking all my business elsewhere and i was sending 200 a month just in dog food there.

Bought Weed Cloth, took it home, unwrapped the plastic put two staples in it to pull it taught and it immediately ripped. I realized that the product wouldnt work. In the past ace has been very helpful with returns so I went back to get something that would work better the next day. Because the plastic wrap was broken and two small holes were in the 50 ft weed cloth, which had the stretch of a garbage bag, they refused to return it.No one working in the store was motivated to keep a customer and the impression multiple employees gave was they wanted fewer customers in the store.

This store is so HUGE! Literally everything and anything you need or all that you ever thought you needed is here! I love this location because they have such a great home decor area. I also love the clearance marked stuff! And of course all of the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I recommend shopping at this Ace Hardware.

Dianne is the rudest employee I have ever dealt with in the store. I live in the neighborhood everytime I have to get what I need it is always her I get checked out by. Even over the phone I have dealt with her just very snappy and rude. I will got to the store on Uintah from now on!

I went to several Ace Hardware stores in Colorado Springs looking for a Big Green Egg Grill. Not only did this Ace have the grill I was looking for, they also had about every accessory. I also had the most helpful and knowledgeable salesman, Patrick, that one could ask for. He took his time explaining what the grill could do and stated the differences between the Big Green Egg and their other offerings.I highly recommend this store for all your BBQ needs. I am heading there today to get more accessories for my new grill.

Love this store and its staff! Needed several screens replaced after a hail storm. The staff was very helpful and even worked on special sized frames. I will recommend this store to anyone. They have my five stars any day!

Just in the store today getting ideas for home projects when I happened to notice a nice looking hummingbird feeder on sale. Athe checkout the clerk was very nice BUT said the item was only on sale to Ace reward card holders? Well I returned the item to the shelf and double checked myself and there was NOTHING that said for rewards card holders. I dont care to have a rewards card so guess I will shop everyplace else for items I need and return to the store only as a last resort :-(. I give it a 3 star rating only because of the employees who are always helpful and friendly.

Great people...Great customer service. When I think of Ace I think of quality and reliability. Unfortunately the reliability of having nuts and bolts has not been good. I went to this location 5 weeks ago looking for a bolt, they have a spot for it, but was out. I had to drive to two other Aces to find what I needed. I went back 5 weeks later...there inventory was the exact same....completely out of the bolt size I needed. I again had to go to two other locations.Lesson..call first if you know what you need so you dont waist your time.I cant express how nice the people who work at all the locations are. Thats why I go back. Please work on your hardware inventory or find a company who do there job and make sure you have the product to sell.

Ace went above and beyond my expectations. I went to three other places to try and get help with what I needed and no where else was willing or able to. I finally ended up at Ace Hardware and was greeted by friendly associates and directed to what I needed. Ralph went above and beyond and helped me actually get the job done. Very nice and helpful bunch of people at this particular Ace. Had an issue with a chainsaw I had purchased. They not only fixed that issue but found the cause of it so it wouldnt happen again (saving me $$).There is a wide selection of home repair, outdoor and pet care items to choose from.Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Feels like they know more about what they are talking about than the large orange or blue stores.

I have shipped in this Ace for years as has both my parents. Its generally a good store, yet not everyone is knowledgeable. Thats ok, but when I ask a specific question and they pick the package up, read it and tell me what it says, that is NOT helpful. I can do that, and the guy didnt answer the question.They do have helpful people in the store though. They also have a good selection of items, and the layout is organized.

Not a good ace Hardware. Took them three months and couldnt fix my door screens. Why do the staff who probably arent trained how to perform work duties. Why take on a job that ace cant even fix, instead tell the client that we cant fix what we thought that we can fix. So finally I picked up my two sliding door screens after it felt like ace hijacking my screens for three months. At least I didnt have to pay. Only thing that the ace Hardware did right in three months. Thanks for wasting my time. I will never shop at that ace again. I was surprised when this young cute girl named Megan directed me where I needed to be as I walked in the door and had so much extensive Hardware knowledge. Either she studies hard or we have very good training because I found a part that I was looking for all over town without much effort and the guy in the back at the specialty nuts and bolts area was awesome too! I actually ended up at Megans check out and she got me in and out so quickly that I had to leave a review and thank her.

We are painting the whole interior of our home so weve been in this place quite a few times. Ive had Very mixes experiences. today takes the cake. Absolutely terrible service and quality. We didnt buy enough paint for a room, we went in to get a second gallon-a Benjamin Moore standard paint color made with Benjamin Moore paint. It was nowhere near the same color (see photo below) I bring it back and the manager, Peter, gives me attitude and says they dont guarantee paint match. WHAT? Im not asking for a custom color. Im asking for BM color with BM paint. He then says he will fix it but making it our like he is doing me a huge favor. He then says one may have been made with an old base. Again, how is that my fault. He goes to work, slamming things around. After trying multiple times and failing, he finally scrapes paint from the last, empty can I brought in and uses his color match machine and it works. I say yeah, now thats the same color. He just walks off without saying anything. If you cant make a standard color created by Ben Moore, you shouldnt sell Ben Moore. Its not cheap. Painting is a pain and the idea of completely repainting a room bc they cant recreate a color is ridiculous. Absolute terrible. After this project, we will never go back again. We have bought a total of 11 paint cans there.

Extremely pleased with the customer service at ACE! We were unable to find the Christmas lights we wanted on Friday so an employee offered to order them, and have them delivered ASAP. When I went to pick them up I had our baby with us and a different employee brought all the lights out to my car and loaded them up for me. Huge bonus, I was on my way to a different store to buy a dog leash, but I found out while shopping that ACE carries pet supplies! I was able to turn two trips into one, which I very much appreciate with having 3 kids. Great expierence and we will definitely be back!

We used to love coming to this ACE. One day I go in for a crush nut tool which they didnt have. On my way out some younger employee stops me and asked if he could help. I told him they didnt have what I was looking for. Without skipping a beat, the guy told me to empty my pockets! Who the heck is he to accuse me of stealing!? I had $200 cash in my pocket to make the purchase if they had what I was looking for! Needless to say, never going back to this establishment or any other ACE for that! Good thing Lowes and home Depot are just as close!

I purchased a new Weber grill and all the accessories for a great price and I feel like I got great information about what I was buying. Prompt help getting it all loaded up as well. This is a really big Ace Hardware, so if you need help finding anything or making any and all arrangements, talk to a lady named Geanine. She helped me with everything from finding the right product, so getting it selected an and paid for, and everything else. Very, very helpful! This is THE big flagship Ace in Colorado Springs. They have everything, and I love it.

Very unhelpful and down right rude employees. Gave me a hard time because I needed thier help to load their products into my truck. Even heard them calling me names as they walked away. The manager couldnt care less. Absolutely the last time I will never shop there again.

Walking out underwhelmed.The key was able to be made at a different ACE location, further away with much more knowledgeable employees that were friendlier and actually seemed like they wanted to help and that you werent annoying them.Its hit or miss at this location, hit or miss that youre going to be treated like a human being , and hit or miss if your are going to be stuck out on your own in the big store looking for what the heck you need with no employee even wanting to help you. It does come to it : Whats the point of even shopping here even if it is local.Returning to the store a few years later lead to a bit better experience. Friendly staff, eager to help & better deals. Dont buy paint at this store. They mixed me the wrong color, and still couldnt correct. I had to go the austin bluffs to get the correct color. This store wasted 3 hours of my time. There was another gentleman complaining about them getting his color wrong. Manager was rude. I will never set foot in this store again.

We pulled up to the N Circle Dr location not realizing they had just closed 2 minutes ago, however Peter did us a solid and let us run in for our simple quick need of screws. Not only did he let us in just after closing but he was still very helpful and informative on which screws would be most ideal for our task of securing shelves to hold diecast cars in our new nursery. The entire staff was pleasant and willing to help despite having just clocked out Im sure. 5 stars from this new mama to be and all my heartfelt graditude for all the help they provided. Online shows Adirondack chairs for $39.99. Order online and pick up in store with the hour due to it being in stock. Instead of wasting the time to order online, just went to the store to purchase. Price comes up $54.99. So we question the price and they say they dont price match online. So they dont honor their own prices. Manager was very rude as well as the employees. Never will set foot in an Ace ever again

The ace on circle is only about a mile away from my house and I go there at least three times every week often a lot more than that though. I really like the people that work there and they have a very good selection of everything that I look for... today though I went in to pick up something I had ordered I talk to the manager and he seemed frustrated and did not want to help he then started screaming for me to get out of the store it was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen anyone do in my life. He refused to give me any information about his superiors when I told him that I wanted to talk to someone above him I won’t use this ace again until this manager is fired and I plan on doing everything I can to see that that happens.

I like this store because of the hardware selection. However, getting assistance from the folks who work there has been somewhat lackluster. It is like some of them do not want to be distracted from what they are doing.

I buy a lot of small things and Craftsman tools here, tried to return a solder gun I didnt like because the receipt says very clearly within 30 days we will fix it exchange it or refund it your receipt assures it and Ken the store Manager told me no and that he could only give me back a portion of what I paid. No where in the store or on my receipt is this posted. Dont shop here the management is aweful. Update: so I called corporate and was told that they would have the store owner call me and he never did. I called corporate a week later and they said the same thing and management never did so I went back and returned my item for 30% less than I paid for it. For the record I didnt yell cuss or make a scene, but the manager Ken was clear in telling me that he literally doesnt care about my business and doesnt care if me or my family ever shops there again. Congrats Ken, 3 generations of my family buying from Ace and it will end with me.

I wasted a very unproductive and frustrating 20 minutes this morning trying to pick up an item I had ordered on-line. They called and said it was in and ready. I went to the store and they had the item ready. But thats when the problem started. The associate was having much difficulty finding the order on the computer. I waited, I walked, I sat. She apologized twice and kept on looking. She called the manager. I continued sitting. Finally, after 20 minutes she brought the item over, handed it to me, turned around and walked off, without the slightest word of explanation. I didnt even have to sign anything. So, WHY was I kept there all that time while they tried to solve their own systems problem?? Very inconsiderate of my time. I probably wont go back.

I had an amazing experience at this Ace Hardware today. Went in to buy a Weber grill. Got home and opened the box and it was bent. So I took it back and they gave me a second one, no problem. Got home and the inner grate was bent such that I couldnt put it in the grill. So back to Ace one more time. There was only one more of the grill I wanted left and there was something wrong with it as well. So Vern, I believe hes a manager, went to the back and managed to put together a working grill from the parts of the three defective ones. I cant say enough how happy I am with my dealings with Vern in particular and the other staff in general. This Ace is a little farther from my house, but I will be back for sure.

They have been patient and friendly every time I have been in! They are always available to answer any questions. The best part about Ace Hardware Circle is that they were always focused on giving good service, and finding solutions. I would recommend them to anyone.

On Sat., 4/21, I had one of the worse experiences of my life at the Circle ACE store in Colorado Springs, CO. This shook me up so badly I filed a formal complaint with Corporate. The store mgr humiliated and treated me worse than a dog! I went in to get a gallon of paint and the employee pulled a dinged-up can off the shelf, blended and mixed it, claiming that the mixer damaged the can. I questioned the dinged-up can and the cashier offered to have it remixed, which was very nice. The mgr, standing by the door about 15 ft away, hollered “you’re going to lose money on that!” I started explaining to the mgr what the cashier and I were talking about and interrupting me, he loudly told me I had an attitude. All I wanted was to have them remix it as it was offered to me. The mgr started yelling at me, “Come over here! Come over here!” and motioning with his hands. I refused to “come” like a dog, and told him so! He came over and got within inches of my face! I perceived a threat from this guy and ordered him not to touch me! He yelled at me over and over again, waving his arms all over, to “Get out of my store! Get out! Get out!” I was in shock and couldn’t believe I was being treated this way, and in front of employees and customers! My mind was racing and trying to comprehend what horrible crime had I just committed to justify being treated like this. Never in my life had I been treated and embarrassed like this! This completely unprofessional behavior and aggression by this deranged store mgr against me, a little 100 lb lady, was frightening. All I wanted was a lousy can of paint, and in an undamaged can! I drove to another ACE store on Austin Bluffs to recover from this, still shaking and in tears. The store mgr was very sympathetic and listened to me, and sold me a can of paint. I’ve lived here since 1981 and have never been to an ACE store until this occurrence. My first visit was a nightmare! Never will I set foot in the Circle store again, and I fully intend to push this incident through, all the way to the top.

Came here to refill my propane after a bad experience at Uhaul, these guys were great. I was in and out with a full propane tank in just a few minutes and the pricing is much better than propane exchanges.

For the 1st time ACE on Circle let me down. I dropped a chain off to be sharpened 2 weeks ago, was told it would be done on the 5th of May and they would call!! Well NO CALL I called today the 6th and Im told not done, to busy to do it, nobody trained, then I get here to pick it up and they blamed it on new management!! Really?? How hard would it have been to call me earlier do I could get it and take it elsewhere, now this weekend coming is when I needed it, and there goes my plans.. THANKS ALOT ACE

Walked right back in. I had them for 2 minutes. They would not let me return them. $12 down the toilet.. They are so hard i could not chew them. Very disappointed at this ace store!!!!

I literally drive 2 miles to go to ACE Hardware right past Home Depot (2 blocks away) and Lowes (4 blocks away) because of customer service. Well NOT after today!I tried to return an $8.59 unopened 1/2pint of Enamel. I didnt realize Ace Hardware has a 30day return policy. Sure enough it clear says so the very last line of the receipt that is as long as my forearm for one item.The associate was very nice and apologetic and said he could return it with managements approval. He called the manager over this is where everything went South. The manger came over and snapped at me when I say snapped I mean snapped. The associate said, This is over 30 days, without even assessing the situation the manger very violently said, I am NOT returning that!, he turned and walked away. The associate and I just blankly stared at each other. I composed myself and said, Okay and took my 1/2 Pint of Enamel with me.Having stewed on what happened I decided to go back to Ace Hardware the following day and speak with them again. I didnt appreciate being treated that way by the manger. I got two mangers today one of which was the manager from the previous day. The original manager stood by his decision to NOT return the Enamel again he turned and walked away from me and guess what he never apologies for the way he spoke to me the previous day. The second manager did profusely but thats NOT the same is it? I also returned everything we bought the day prior because that receipt was with in the 30day return period. Then we drove over to Home Depot and bought the same products for cheaper than Ace Hardware.Thanks Ace Hardware for the $8.59 lesson we will be shopping else where. Most hardware companies offer the same products so they have two things to offer, price and service. I chose to go to Ace Hardware because of service so if I am NOT getting the service at Ace Hardware I might as well get lower prices else where with a better return policy.

Friendly and helpful staff but they need more cash register support. It would be great when a line gets longish to call in a backup.

I was recently at this store a couple weeks ago and I’ve come to find out the owner of this store is named Derrick and this review is to you. I came into your store with three drill bits and I was going to replace them so as I was looking for them a man came up to me and accused me of stealing the drill bits that I already had with me, I explained to this young man I was trying to match the bits that I needed but he told me to leave immediately and take my business to Home Depot. I am 67 years and I’ve never been treated this bad in a store ever. I want to thank this store though for sending me to home depot because I explained this story to them and a worker at Home Depot said this was not the first time they’ve heard complaints about Ace. My best advice to you and your store is to find new management and less rude staff.

Great store! Was making a heating repair and needed an Allen wrench. Actually need t he only one that was lost in my set so I slipped on down to Ace because it was way closer than my shop. I was going to buy a set of them becuase I just wanted to get back to the job quickly but a store employee asked what I was looking for. I told him I only needed tthe one but could only find the set. He told me to put the set back and he would get me the 5/16ths before I could meet him back there. I was out the door in about 3 minutes and 67 cents later. Organized store and plenty of help all around!

Inexperianced clerk was still learning. Buying ahead to pick up, probably took longer.

Light bulb sale was a myth. Went there for a light bulb sale that I saw advertised online. I found the display that was advertising said sale. I gladly put into my basket several of the discounted bulbs and I went to the checkout. I told the cashier that it should be buy one get one free. It did not come up in the system as buy one get one free so I took the manager to the display and showed him the sign that said that they were buy one get one free and he pointed out the fine print that said that dimmable bulbs were on sale and not the non dimmable bulbs they had on the display, a fully stocked display of non dimmable bulbs advertising the sale and nowhere in the store were dimmable bulbs. I found at Home Depot comparable bulbs for $0.50 glass than the deal that Ace Hardware would not honor. Loyal customer lost.
