Customer service is over the top! Sales and service to boot! Bought my glasses here because they carry some great product and after a series of unfortunate events, I ended up stepping on them. Went back and asked for mercy and walked out with them repaired like new! Thats why I go to the pros. Thanks!

I have been going to Dr Williams for years. He is very through, professional. If your looking for an eye Dr that takes vision serious he’s it. The office staff will go above and beyond to make your visit as smooth and friendly as possible. They take the time to make sure all avenues are discussed ie insurance etc.. I went in for an eye exam yesterday for the first time at Colonial Heights Vision Center and Dr. Williams did a wonderful job and I felt he was very thorough. I ask for a copy of something that I know was included on my medical records and was refused the information. Not only was I refused the information (that was included on MY medical records) but Mr. J. Clifford Brooks was EXTREMELY rude. When I was there yesterday I asked about the information and he wasn’t as rude but definitely was very short with me. I went home and did my research, turns out he is breaking the law by withholding information that’s included on my medical records and that’s simply what I told him. He told me that I was harassing him, I couldn’t be believe he said that. How am I harassing someone who willing got on the phone to speak with me? Mr. J. Clifford Brooks is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met and does not deserve his position because apparently he doesn’t know the law. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and not going back to Colonial Heights Vision Center which is such a shame because Dr. Williams and the receptionist was so nice.

I have always had a great experience here. I broke my glasses frame on a Sunday (Ive had the same frames for two years). I was able to glue it back together, but with my daughters wedding that weekend I really needed the frames properly fixed. I called on Monday and by Tuesday at 5:30 my lenses were in new frames. Problem solved quickly! It feels great knowing your glasses will be done right, and even better when you know the staff cares about their clients!

I have been going to Colonial Heights Vision Center for a few years. I currently live out of state. Im just not ready to give up this vision center. Theyre always willing to help me with my scheduling needs (living out of state). (Connie is always there to help set up an appointment for me).When Im there for my appointment their staff comes together to help me choose just the right glasses and makes sure they fit perfectly. (Cliff always straightens out my glasses, even when Im too embarrassed to show him).Dr. Williams makes sure to do all of the tests thoroughly, if something doesnt seem accurate, we rescreen just to make sure. He has also sent me to a specialist for further care. Colonial Heights Vision Center has such a great staff. I dont want to leave this vision center but if/ when I do, I hope I can find one as good as this one in South Carolina.

Went for the first time the other day! Front office ladies were super sweet. Waited about 30 mins but they kept me in the loop. Dr was a little dry but took his time with his exam. Highly recommend if your looking for a new eye doctor!

I have been taking my family to Dr. Williams at CHVC for years. I just had my exam today. The staff there, especially Eve and Cliff, are always so kind and helpful. I would highly recommend CHVC to anyone looking for an optometrist.

They couldnt get there prices figured out for my contact lens order. I was not happy with them charging me one thing and then call me a few hours later telling me that they gave me the wrong price then I called to cancel my glasses order that was placed yesterday . afternoon because I wasnt happy with the office and the guy was rude and said that there were signs all over the office and I couldnt cancel my order. I do not recommend this office

Ive gone here since I was in 5th grade. And im now almost 30 years old. After high school...I moved an hour away from colonial heights...but every year I still make the hour drive just to come here to have my eye exam done. I did try two other eye doctors closer to me at different times...but neither was ever as thorough and professional as the eye doctor here. One of the other doctors even tried to sell me on wearing a diff contact brand and stated what I wore was something he wouldnt let his dog wear. How rude, right? But this doctor here does not act like that and understands the patient knows what feels best to them and wont try to sell you on other stuff. They may not have the cool buy one pair of glasses and get one free like the big chain eye exam places do...but in my opinion quality eye care is better than a sales gimmick.

I highly recommend this office for your eye care needs! Friendly, knowledgeable staff and incredibly thorough exams with an amazing selection of frames!!
