Highly recommend! I called early on a Saturday morning, not expecting for a same day fix but they did! Not only did they explain the problem, they even showed me. My rear brake pads were shot. Definitely will be coming back for any service I need!

I hadn’t gone in yet, however, the guy I spoke with (Steve) was super honest, friendly, and professional!

Went there for a rattle in my exhaust system rather then taking it to my local mechanic. Dropped my Sienna off at 9AM. When I called at 2:30PM the vehicle was finally ready for pickup. Once I got there they informed me that my heat shield was loose and not needed so they removed it at no charge. 6 weeks later when the weather got warm I noticed that my AC was now not working. I took it to my local mechanic to be serviced and he informed me that the low pressure steel AC line going to the rear of the mini van had been cut with a power tool in that same area as the heat shield. It wasnt a break but a clean cut in the steel line. I then proceeded back to Meinke in Avenel and explained the situation. I asked them to put the van on the lift and show me what they did regarding the heat shield but it was lunch time and the mechanic was diabetic and told me to come back in an hour. I finally convinced them to put it on their lift and upon review they said that it was not possible that they cut the line accidently even though the AC low pressure steel line was within inches of the heat shield that they removed. He was rambling on very unprofessionally about how he could get fined for cutting the line and releasing the freon into the environment and it wasnt possible that they cut the $600 steel AC line. He even told me that MAYBE someone was trying to steal my catalytic converter and accidently cut the AC line even though there was no evidence of that. After trying to further discuss the issue he finally told me Get Out of My SHOP and have a good day. Worst experience ever with a diabetic mechanic. Definitely would not recommend this mechanic. Although I cannot prove he accidently cut the line I suspect it was him. Who else takes 6+ hours to remove a heat shield?

I had visited them for an oil change yesterday and although, I had to wait a little for someone to show up at the front, the man who came out apologized to me for the wait and was very kind during our interaction. I have absolutely no idea about the types of oil changes, the different packages and everything so, he was very patient and helpful when explaining the difference to me. They had quickly finished my oil change, i was out within 20 minutes. I remember it was pouring super hard outside and I had to grab my wallet from the car for the payment and the man informed me to be quick bc of the weather outside, another man had my car door open for me and when I came back inside soaked, another employee had provided me a clean towel to wipe myself with. The service and overall interaction was amazing, they were so sweet. I will definitely visit back at this location!

Go there if you want to get ripped off.-The guy in the front was very rude.-He asked for 350$ for a 70$ job, and then was like, The best i can do is 250!- He didnt only ask for that large amount of money; he wanted me to wait an extra hour just so he can take his lunch break.I went to GOOD YEAR, which is a much better place and got a better service for only 70$.This was my second and will be my last time there.

Great customer service and very informative mechanics! Went in to get repairs done on my exhaust system and was very happy with the transaction. John, who is one of the mechanics not only told me what exactly needed to be fix but brought me to the garage and showed me where the problem was and why repairs were needed. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and would definitely come back thanks to his customer service!

Gave me a price first then made me pay about $100 more .The worst part is they did not do the service right .I raised a concern hearing a noise after the service and the technician told its something else .Took to the service again next day .Even told the axle is damaged but nothing visible as a problem. Had to fight to get the parts replaced and made me wait for long time .Never going back there .

The guy at reception was rude and didnt know how to attend to customers. They told me that front brakes are gone and need to be changed and the price they asked was unreasonable too - 280$. I had my breaks changed recently and felt something wrong with these guys and went back to my old mechanic only to find out that my breaks were perfectly fine. I didnt need a replacement. My day was saved otherwise these guys would have cheated me!!! Never go there. And never consider any coupons on their website. Its just to attract customers. They never honour those coupons.

I gave only 2 stars because they gave me one price and it ended up being almost $200 more. Even with a “discount”. The good thing was they were able to take us right away.

I went to get a synthetic blend oil change yesterday which only took about 20mins. After I left I realized the mechanic that did my oil change did not update the sticker for when I’m due for a next one.

Last minute went to get an oil change no problem, took me right in and was very professional

I left my car there to get a window regulator replaced. When I picked it up the next day, there were a cluster of scratches on the outside of the door that werent there when I left it. I immediately mentioned it & of course they knew nothing. They said it was parked inside the whole time so it happened in the shop. I called Meineke customer service about it. A representative called back & said they couldnt do anything. Theyre all franchises & they would not take responsibility. I had been going there for years. You go at your own risk now.

Helped patch up an unexpected flat tire very quickly!

CROOKS, CROOKS times a billion . If I were able to give them a zero I would. I went to fix an alternator problem right before CHRISTMAS for which a paid $700 everything was fine because I barely used my car afterwards, but when I did used it it started giving me problems again for which I changed the battery but the car would still give me issues. I went back to them and they told me that the 90 day warranty had expired but they were willing to do all the work again for $500 with a one year warranty this time, which to me seemed fishy as why the warranty would be different plus the owner who spoke to us whom is really rude was acting kind of weird. I decided not to and went ahead and bought the part somewhere else and had another mechanic install it and when he was done to my surprise, the did never change the alternator in the first place, the car still had the original alternator, looking old and very much used. Since then, my car works perfectly find. Please, dont go if you value your money.

I wish I read all of these reviews before going here. We had brakes replaced a few years ago and no problem. But now this place is a rip off center just as the others have said. I needed a fog light replaced and wound up paying double from what it would have cost at the dealership after I called them today to find out what it should have cost. Plus my brothers truck was worked on and they replaced spark plugs that were replaced only a few months ago at the dealer. From now on Im not second guessing my dealer especially when I wound up paying double at this place.

Service rep was knowledgeable of the special oil specs for my car and the work was done in the timeframe estimated.

I stopped using the dealership after taking my car here. Always a fair price and work was always done in one day.

This young guy at the front desk was obnoxious. He obviously didnt want to do the job and said it numerous times. Tried to charge me almost 20 hours of labor for work he didnt kniw for sure he would have to do. Found another mechabic and am getting it done for half the pruce, 1/4th the time and none of the ridiculous attitude. Such a shame. John was such a better person than this young guy. I think this meineke is no longer on my list of places to go as ling as they have someone lile that working for them.

The person on the phone was really rude. I was on my way to a brake shop when I saw a sign outside the meineke that read, 50% off brakes so, I decided to call. The gentleman answered the phone and I told him the make, model and, year of my car. I told him I wanted new pads and rotors for my rear wheels and asked him for a ballpark figure. He refused so, I told him that I was enroute to another shop and I gave him the price that the other shop gave me, saying that Id be willing to give meineke the business if they could meet me somewhere in the middle. He called one of us a liar, Im not sure which and then he added on that I ...should go there. His tone just sucked so bad.

Very unprofessional...A simple oil change. Whoever did the service forgot to put the dipstick back in its right place.THE WHOLE..DIDNT HAVE RECORD OF WHO DID THE WORK AS WELL..GO FUGURE..DUH..

I went for an oil change and a tune up because there was hesitation with the car. he drove the car around and said definitely jerking. he said thought it was transmission and they dont do that which I understand. I went to my mechanic and the outcome it needed a tuneup and the fuel injectors were clogged. definitely glad it wasnt trans. price of oil change after mail in rebate was good. other things not so sure about. ill still go back for oil changes though.

Dont go here, save yourself the trouble look at the reviews all these people cannot be wrong, this place is not trustworthy and lost my business. $40 for an oil change?!!? Thats a crime! Plenty of other auto shops nearby AVOID THIS PLACE.

I have tried calling this place numerous times no one is answering. I am so upset with the job he had done a couple months back. I even called right away explained of hearing same noise he said just keep driving it and if it gets worse call back. I have tried numerous times no one answers. This was done around winter time brand new brakes and rotors and even said he gave me a really big discount which I new was not much at all bc I know somewhat about car parts and pricing.. I put the trust in this guy bc he sure does know how to do the talking... After I had this looked at by several meinekes same issue is occuring. Mind you I havent even put many miles on car since the work has been done. I should of read the reviews ahead of time but I typically dont judge a book by its cover and tend to talk to a person one on one before I decide what im going to do. HE promised me I was in good hands, promised me not to rip me off... After researching and now reading these terrible reviews and having other shop look at it, I know I not only got taken advantage of, but did such a lousy job. And not actually doing the job correctly as my car has the same exact issues as before. I am completely upset bc I put the trust in the wrong person and shop. I was even charged way over priced which I had a feeling I was. As I had someone front the money for me because I am sick and didnt have all the money for breaks and rotors to be done right then and there (if that was even the initial problem to begin with?) So now Im paying my friend back on an amount that was way over priced just like I thought. MY ADVICE IS TAKE IT TO ANOTHER SHOP JUST NOT THIS PARTICULAR MEINEKE ONE WHICH THIS ONE IS LOCATED IN COLONIA. OWNER WILL NOT CALL ME BACK OR JUST DOESNT ANSWER PHONE.. I went in for an exhaust leak, and he tried selling me the entire muffler and pipes. If I am able to make an appointment I should not have to wait 2 or 3 hours. Went to the place for free TMobile Tuesday oil change and the guy said he had other cars so it would take 2-3 hours.

Lets be real, I took my car here and specifically said only change the oil. Here comes the 1000$ possible invoice of so many broken parts in my car. Im a car tuner that didnt want to deal with my daughters car since it was an out of town thing. How do you go from an oil change to needing an entire suspension rebuild? I didnt know there was oil in the rear tires but hey, now i know.

Walked in with no appointment and greeted right away. Service is fast and trustworthy. Will come back again.

Had a muffler problem . Thats right...HAD !! Went to the shop early Saturday morning and had it checked . I knew that one was bad , although didnt check the other . HEY ! Dont know why , but there was rusting out spots on top of the other . Got a good price , left the car and had it back by 1 PM . Alot quieter now . Thanks guys !! I will be back when I need problems corrected.

I entered this meineke at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. The gentleman behind the desk did not even say hello as he was having a conversation with another customer. After he finished the conversation, he asked what I needed, I told him my car was dead at the parking lot in front of meineke in Perkins, he say he was closing soon (even though he was not closing for another hour) and simply told me to get AAA and walked away. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Thanks for nothing!!!!

Everyone always thinks people hate services they received based on price... well I rather pay then come home with the same problem... aside from unnecessary work, the vehicle returned with the same problem... careless... I came home with a screw driver on the exterior part of my dashboard... great position to fly off and break mine or someone elses windshield. Failed to reinstall or place the oil dip stick back. The explanation kept grow as to why the car wasnt fix... I replaced this but it didnt work... I have to do this first before I can do that and by the time its all done or not its costing me $700... and my car is still jerking. In addition, the rep did offer to continue repairs at no extra cost for the work, but ild have to pay for parts. Can I trust the problem being fixed or will I have to wait to see if that was the cause??? I shouldnt have to question my service. Im not a mechanic which hence why I took the car there.

Place is a rip off. Scam artist tell you one price then always $100 or $200 higher. Tell you 3 hours labor when job actually only takes 45 minutes then charge you the 3 hours at $110 an hour. Real scumbags the owner and the mechanic Steve..

First, I went there to get my muffler hanger welded, since it has hitting the chassis of the car when going through a pot hole, bump and sometimes during normal driving. However, I was told I dont require a hanger, they just need to align the cat back system. It did solve the issue temporary until I went thru a bump again and I started facing the same again..Second, I had my front and rear brakes replaced; I had bought my own parts, I went there to get service and charged me ridiculous amount of money for the labor: $290, . Not only that,, they didnt screw the tire in. I had my passenger rear wheel rolled off on the road right after the service.Overall, I hated their service. I would not recommend anyone to go if I had too!

Thanks to joe for assisting us. He was the one in desk when we came in and explained all the things that needed to to be changed in the car and before doing it he makes sure that we agreed first on the fees before doing the work.

Last June I had a dual exhaust system installed here with two chrome tips. After 9 months, the tips started to rust. I brought the truck back and they immediately replaced them... no charge!

They made unnecessary repairs to my car. They either have no idea at all what they are doing or they just plain ripped me off. After spending $470 to replace a starter, the car did not start. They gave me a whole story about needing additional repairs that would cost $950 more. When I said I was having the car towed elsewhere, the story suddenly changed. Had the car towed. The second repair shop confirmed that the starter was never the problem.Unfortunately, I paid for this with a debit card and have not been able to get the money refunded. Bank has been no help.2 lessons learned -- never use this repair shop and always charge auto repairs on an AMEX card. Amex would have made sure I had my money back.
