My personal favorite liquor store in the area and its on the way of my commute. On average, you will find prices as good as anywhere else. The staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly. I also like the layout of the store compared to other local liquor stores, even if the walkways can be a bit cramped. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Great wine selection between $8-13. Got an Italian Tuscan blend, Spanish rioja, and Chilean cab each for under $10!

Best liquor store in the area. Its quite small, the isles only allow one person to be able to walk down them at a time. But the place is stocked with a wide variety of wines, beers as well as all your liquors. I can always find what Im looking for. Was the only place I could find Beamish (Irish beer) till it was stopped being sold in the USA. Youll always find something good in there. And the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Its the only place I go.

Extremely friendly staff, well stocked liquor store with a variety of options for all. They also have a lot of specials that include glassware. Police presence helps the location feel secure and welcoming for those looking to imbibe!

My sister was turning 21 and I was looking for some odd shaped bottles and fun alcohol related items to buy for her present. This was the best place to go! They had all kinds of funky shaped bottles (a stack of 100s bottle of vodka, a cat bottle of wine, and a tequila gun). My sister loved all of her gifts!

Visited this place while away on business and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is! Fantastic selection of everything from hard-to-find beer and also hard-to-find wine. The staff here went out of their way to help me find what I was looking for and did a great job at it. While I was browsing I was asked if there was anything specific I was looking for and while I was paying for my beer I asked the guy at the counter if he happened to know if they have a certain wine (assuming they didnt, since the winery doesnt list them as a distributor) but they did - and he knew right away - even led me to where it was. 5 stars for sure!

Best wine selection I have seen in the DC area. Whats surprising it its just a small little local liquor store. They have great prices on local and international wines plus a complete selection of beers and liquors. If you are looking for a great place with a great selection then its definitely worth the trip.

This store is great! I came in because I read about this place via the ratebeer app. I live a planes ride away so I cant quite attest to whether their prices are lower than anywhere else, but they arent outrageously high or anything like that. The craft brew selection is great and varied. Some chilled, some not. Plenty of bombers for those into that size. Didnt catch his name but the guy on staff at the time was very knowledgeable about the craft selection in stock and just crafts in general. Really appreciated that!Ill definitely be paying a visit as soon as I touch down in the area again!

Village pump is the place you hope never goes out of business. Its incredible. The BEST selection in the area for beers. Tons of variety. Dont go here on second thought, youre going to ruin it!

Good selection of rails, and good pricing. The pricing is not as good as Corridor (total wine) in Laurel, but what is? And, you dont have to schlep out down 198 if you just want some rails or basic wines or beers. Not to say that they dont have some specialty stuff, they do, its just not much. The place is old and not much to look at, but they are friendly.

Village pump is one of those weird places thats tiny and out of the way but somehow manages to do something amazing. Any speciality alcoholic beverage you want that is also difficult to find they may likely have. If they dont they will order it for you. There are very few liquor stores in the area like this. Especially in College Park where theyre all focused on fast cheap drinks for college students.

I used to come here a lot some years ago but had fallen off with moving away from nearby and having other options, but this week I was in the area and needed some beer. This place is tiny and crowded but they absolutely compete with just about any store in the area in both fair pricing and the sheer number of available beers. You can also ask if they can get something specific and they usually will order it special for you. A great little neighborhood spot well with stopping in.

Great selection and variety! Shelves were full and place clean. Easy to find things without having to walk miles unlike those big stores. Definitely my favorite place to go.

My place to go when I need a refill. They got the best selection of micro brews in the area. The people that work there know where everything is.

The store is small and cramped. The inventory lines every wall and gondolas crowd what little space otherwise. Yet somehow selection is modest at best. Staff are helpful and agreeable and prices are within expectations. Parking and access are a chore.

They have a very good craft selection. Their whiskey selection is also pretty good for the size store that they have; I found one that I did not expect to see there and was pleasantly surprised.

Parking can be difficult, but there is a lower lot on the other side of the store. They have an amazing selection, great pricing and sales on wine...
