The only liquor store Ive been able to find the infamous Peach Crown Royal, sorry if youre looking for it but I got the last one! Enjoyed the Stella Rosa wine tasting too. The staff was nice & for a small college liquor store they had a decent selection of beer, wine & spirits.

This is the only bar around ig, who are letting us dine in. Bartender Brianna was awesome, loved her vibe. And the music and overall atmosphere was good too. Enjoyed 💜

I’m gonna break this one down really quick y’all. It’s a dive bar attached to a liquor store. Yes, you can get your buzz going in one room, then stumble through the open door and get some more to take home.The store closes at 9pm, last call in the bar area is 1:20am (they close at 1:30am).Beer is $3.50 a pint, they have two pool tables, a Touch Tunes jukebox that isn’t cranked up so loud that you can’t carry on a conversation.10 TVs (one shows the Maryland lotto numbers, and another is simulcast horse racing from other states), a pinball machine, 10 to 15 draft beers, tables all around the outer walls, and plenty of bar seating.It’s a cool, laid back adult crowd, not rowdy at all, and not full of college kids.The parking lot is a bit on the small side.There you have it folks – all the 411 in 30 seconds (depending on how fast you can read).Peace out!

Trust me my 3 is genuine !! This bar attached to liquor store .. don’t come looking for food it’s not tasty .order a pizza that was comparable to 7-11Might give that edge to 7-11 ... cool place to drink if you don’t expect much but liquor and seat

Very fun pool hall with lots of pinball machines. The drinks are affordable and the staff is very friendly. Def a fun spot for the weekend.

The worst day bartender and manger that exists! He ignores you, is snotty towards you and stares at you waiting for you to say one wrong word! A very unwelcoming establishment unless you have gone there for 40 years!

This used to be my favorite bar in College Park. Unfortunately, the staff is now quite rude and the service is poor.

Combination store/bar. Store has a pretty good variety of beers and wine, and the usual liquors, all at reasonable prices. Owner, when present, offers advice. Clerks generally personable, but not that knowledgeable about offerings. Bar has a laid back, pool playing, vibe, and is patronized more by locals than nearby college students. Drinks okay but I stopped ordering food.

Ohmygod Town Hall is still its good old self , except different smells. Thats probably a good thing. Treat your bartender right and youre set. Add the liquor and smokes next door, its 5 damn stars

Probably the best place in College Park for a drink. Drinks arent expensive, not too loud, not too many TVs, has some pool tables. Has a somewhat authentic vibe. Dont come here for a meal, but there are ok wings/bar pizzas etc. that can tie you over.

Ordinarily I have a good experience, but yesterday and last weekend, two of the staff members were very rude and nasty. When I get off of work, I just want to go in, grab my merchandise, pay for it and leave, thats it. The immaturity that goes on in that store when true management is not around is astounding. The disrespect that I experienced points to a future of possible legal problems for this establishment. I am going to let management know, but I wont be back after that. College Park Liquors all day or Kenilworth.

As a regular I can tell you. If you want a real bar thats not populated by only college kids in this area then this is where its at for you. Great staff, music, karaoke, they keep clean and Id rather come here than go anywhere else.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, crowd, and service. We came on a Thursday evening (karaoke night and $2 rails/$2 domestics, along with a couple of other deals). We ended up making a few friends and the bartenders, Chris and Josh, were wonderful. Will definitely be returning!

Liquor at good prices what more do you want?

I was very pleased. Planning a party that I didnt need top shelf for and found good deals here. The gentleman was also very patient and courteous. I would go back.

Used to be a great bar before ownership changed. Still a favorite of locals and graduate students, but the sports bar remodel is a sad shift away from the eclectic dive bar decor saturated in character and community history. Be prepared for bright, bare walls and way too many glaring TV screens. Otherwise, still the best place in College Park for a chill night, cheap beer and good craft beer selection (mostly IPAs). They do have food, mostly microwaved-out-of-a-bag appetizers.

Just the sort of college-y dive bar I expected when moving here. Great mix of people and good jams. Popcorn and cheap beer, say hell yeah.

College Park staple. Great for game days and I believe you can still bring your own food from a number of surrounding businesses. Coldest beers in town and smells better than Bentleys.

This will always deserve 5 stars but only townies and UMD alum need enter you can buy your beer and drink it too. Super cheap place to drink with locals. Great dive with games before a basketball game it is an essential spot. You can drink with professors like a certain CS professor.

The joint is the real deal. A great mix of clientele with cheap drinks and 40s of the Claw? Amazeballs. A must stop before and after a terps game.

A dive bar that hasnt changed in 30 years and has no intention of changing in the next 100. Beer is cheap but quality draft, pool tables, pinball machines (even a league), bathrooms are right out of Trainspotting, and the bartenders dont give a damn about anyone. They also serve food, but to whom I have never witnessed. Lastly there is a modern jukebox but theres no way to predict what will be played by patrons next.

UMD Student 1967-71. Town Hall was a step up from the disgusting Varsity Grill. However some of the best Foosball you could imagine was played in both places. Spent a lot of evenings playing Foosball, drinking cheap beer (16 oz. Carling Black Labels for 35 cents). 12 oz. Buds were 40 cents. They had a good deli with really good hot pastrami sandwiches.

Interesting characters which always makes for great conversation. It is like a dive version of Cheers. The interior has now been updated. Not as much of a dive bar atmosphere anymore

Town Hall has a good selection and great prices, conveniently located near the UMD campus. Its a great choice to fulfill your need for sorrow nullifying substances, would recommend.

It was Great to go somewhere so close to my alma mater class of 75 and see and get to know some of the wonderful young people you were great singers the DJ did a fantastic job they need to have a more diverse menu but you can’t have everything victuals were very reasonably price nonetheless very friendly atmosphere but they could use some nonalcoholic beer for this teetotaler

Sent my co-worker in for some Corona today at about 1030 or so. My buddy comes back and says the cashier is charging $7 bucks more for the cases in the frige than for the cases on the floor.I had no problems there on several occasions ... but then I dont look Latino like my co-worker (valid & legal visa holder).Reported.

We have frequented this bar for several years... Sadly, our most recent visit was terrible, and we will never go back to Town Hall. We were celebrating a graduate students birthday with several colleagues, grad students and friends. There was only one person tending the bar with 75+ patrons waiting for drinks. Town Hall management was rude and disrespectful to us and to their employees.
