This place is a dump!!! There is goose poop everywhere. The water is filled with weeds. I understand weeds grow but its the owner of the marinas job to maintain this growth. I gets so bad that you cant launch your boat. You have to wait until its convenient for him to plow a small pass for the boat to move out but by the time you come back to your spot the weeds are back. The propeller of the boat gets jammed from the weeds that get wrapped around it. In order to get them off you have to get into the oil filled water and pull them out by hand.The water level is very shallow. George the owner is very shady. Hes very nice until you hand over your money and then you can forget about customer service. Every time you need something he acts like its a bother to him. The gate is always open so anyone can come in. No security at all. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF YOU VALUE YOUR BOAT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ALBANY MARINE SERVICES MARINA!!!!!

I have been going to Albany Marine Service for years. They have always been very helpful with any boating problems I may have. Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely horrible place to deal with. Sent my prop to get repaired , 2 weeks later its still not done. I showed up to get it and the owner told me to come back in 2 hours because he was busy. They had a boat sink at one of their dock slips. So I understood the issue and went back later. I showed up 2 hours later, place is all locked up. Go figure right? Well I roamed around, and ended up banging on the door and he comes over, while on the phone and says, sorry, Im closed for the day, I cant help you. That didnt fly. I wanted my prop, fathers day weekend, and I would love to use my boat. Well, needless to say, I got my prop back after some arguing and its not even half done. Place is a dump, and the absolute worst customer service possible. Dont know how they are even in business still. Oh, and dont even bother trying to call there, they never answer their phone. I feel sorry for the people that dock their boats for the season and use the place for repairs. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I use all the services here at Albany Service Marine. They have a 1st rate mechanic shop with large vessel abilities. There is an on-site marine shop for all you boating needs as well as dock space. All the docks are equipped with electric and there are facilities on site not too mention a boat launch! Love this place and the staff cant recommend them enough!

I must agree...there is goose poop every where...and you cant help but track it into your boat. The landfill is literally your neighbor and the smell is unreal. If you have issues with your boat dont expect the mechanic to be of any help they are never around. The water level is very shallow you will scrape your propeller on the rocks and mud. They do not maintain the weeds at all it is up to you to remove them every time you launch. Just zoom in on the google maps and you can see all the weeds that will grow around your boat. There are way better places to dock and store your boat just around the bend.

The marina is not well maintained, very dirty. George The owner or Manager of the Establishment only cares about making money, Is not a polite person seems to be very rude
