The owner James knows what he is talking about when it comes to repairs. My car was acting up. I pulled in James heard what was going on knew what it was fixed it and had it back to me the next day. He has no turn over the same guys all the time. You get a chance to know them and they get to know you and your car. I would highly recommend this facility to anybody.

Great service. Iv always done most of my own repairs and time and time again I need a professional with new cars. The parts are not cheap and most things need advanced programming. But I found myself in need of a new fuel pump. “ I ran the codes “. But Iv never done that before. So I called about my 2007 Nissan Xterra . After a few days and about 12 calls To Other mechanic shops. I found Performance plus automotive . And they gave me a very very fair price and Spoke to me in a way I could understand exactly what they could do for me. Turns out I had some pretty serious problems. Needed a new fuel pump. A new Wheel bearing and sensor assembly. And a new clock spring Assembly. And needed my ac looked at. The mechanic was so Thorough with his job he even notified me that I might need an oil change based upon the sticker I had on my windshield. “ Was a very old sticker” Now I knew I had issues with each one of these problems. So I was surprised to hear how honest the mechanic was!!!!! It’s easy to charge someone a little here and there for something completely useless. But this was not the case. The price was best in town. Everyone spoke to me with respect and kindness. All in all I spent 1600 something. And am very happy .the invoice shows every minute spent working and what parts where being handled. No room for “fake repairs or over charging “ I found my new go to shop!!!!!! It took me 6 years and a lot of frustration (one drove my truck into the wall and I caught another joy riding at high speeds on the dash cam) to find a mechanic I fully trust. This shop is AWSOME! They were able to get my wife car in and out the same day for a coolant issue. (2008 Lexus IS250) They even stayed past hours to make sure it was done! The price was very fair and the owners were very down to earth! As a mechanic myself, sometimes you just may not have the space, time or equipment to do a job yourself so you now have to scour the internet trying to find and shop and Im so glad I found this place! You should never have to fear the cost of vehicle repair vs not getting it taken care of and im telling you, this shop is very reasonable! No their work isnt cheap but you have to understand, they are a business and have to provide for their families aswell, but with that being said, their prices are reasonable for any issue you may have. Definitely not afraid to come back to this shop and as a matter of fact, will schedule in the future for more work! Thank you so much for how you help me and my family!

I replaced the distributor, timing chain, intake manifold and a few other items and couldn’t get the valves and timing set just rite and was on a serious time crunch and I dropped off my old 89 chevy k1500 to them and explain what I did and they took care of the rest and even quicker than I expected! I even had a few loose ends that had nothing to do with the stuff I had asked for and they took care of that as well. I work for a semi truck dealer so to be taken care of and treated in the same manner I treat my costumers was certainly much appreciated!!!

Very professional, and truthful. That is the old way of doing things. Treat the people good and you get a customer for life. That is Performance Plus. I took my 2015 Camaro in and had Jay look at it because the dealership (Bob Steele) played like they had no idea what was wrong and would not cover the cost. In fact, my previous Camaro had the same exact issue and the same dealership made the repair at no cost to me.Jay took time out of his day to help me. He tried to replicate the problem, but of course, it wouldnt act up. So he gave me some very important pointers and instructions if the issue happened again.If I ever need help with my vehicle, I will go to them. Although I live on the beach, a 30 minute ride, I will make the drive to them.Thank you!!

Jay is amazing! I am so happy that I have finally found a reliable, honest, and reasonably priced mechanic. He fixed my catalytic converter and radiator fans quickly and also called me with further questions and complications to get my permission before continuing. I appreciate him a lot and will be going back for any of my cars problems...hopefully not very often!

Been looking for an honest n trustworthy mechanic since I moved to Florida.Went to a handful of mechanic in Merritt island n they are all ripoffs.Then my truck broke down at the post office, n I had to get it towed, but didnt know where, the mail lady (erika)came out n told me about Jay who owns proformace plus, with no other option, I called n JESSICA answered. (Jays wife) we spoke n I immediately felt comfortable with them.So my truck was towed to them n Jay fixed it right ,(fuel pump)for reasonable price, n was finished when he said it would be n now I have a trustworthy dependable mechanic to service my truck.I would recommend performance plus to anyone n everyone.

I have gone to them for 2 wheel bearings and an alternator. Jay is by far the most reasonably priced and he gets you out the door very fast. Honest and friendly. I have never been treated better.

I decided to give this business another chance, and they met my expectations and did a lot of work on a car quickly for me and I appreciate it.Edit/UpdateIve used them several times now in this evolving review and I am thankful of the care and commitment from this shop also.Original review:I had new tires and wheels put on a vehicle. I asked if they could just swap tire pressure sensors. They did.Then i found out later the tpms were ziptied on. Complete safety hazard, if you cant do the job just say so.

Paid $300 to fix an oil leak. Oil is still leaking. Owner says there is no leak.Paid $440 to replace fuel pump. Third fuel pump was put in today. Owner declines to honor warranty anymore. Owner should buy OEM fuel pumps and not NAPA garbage.Owner wants $1100 to replace A/C compressor, (The car cost me $1300.) Owner think I should pay him $450 for a $150 compressor.Owners wife lectures me as if Im an eight-year-old. Owners wife still has adolescent acne.
