Well i am saddened to leave this review, because i realize this shop took advantage of me 2 years ago. In early 2016 i took my car to change the radiator and hoses. Was told i needed a new clutch. My car was a bit of a unicorn so it took some research to figure out what transmission i had and so on. 2 months after that the transmission died and the car has been sitting since. Over 2 years later ( yesterday ) i am rebuilding the car, and came to find out that they put in a stock OEM clutch instead of the Exedy mach 400 stage 2 i was charged for. Not only that but at the time i told them i had a throw out bearing for the car, yet they bought and charged me for a new one. Which i didnt really care about at the time, but now i realize why. They never told me that my TR3650 was an earlier 01-04 model. So to this day i still thought i had a 05-10 model with a hydraulic throw out bearing. I can say that i learned alot about the work they did 2 years ago TODAY.

In all my years of dealing with repair garages I have NEVER found anyone that could even come close to the integrity, experience and just plain honesty that you receive from Joel and his team at Southern Auto Works. He has been working on my autos for years and rather than just replacing parts until he finds the reason your vehicle isnt running correctly he finds out the problem prior to the typical :REPLACE UNTIL IT IS FIXED attitude of most mechanics. He has worked on our Mercedes and Cadillac, both with the same professionalism, needless to say I highly recommend him and his work.. If I owned a Lear Jet, I would take it to him first.Bob Chapman

Hands down the most honest, reliable auto mechanic in central Brevard county, if not ALL of Brevard county. Joel diagnoses the problem quickly, explains everything in detail, never tries to up-sell you repairs you dont need and his rates are more than fair and reasonable. I wont take my car anywhere other than to Joel at Southern Auto Works because he is one of the rare mechanics who goes above and beyond for his customers. I recommend him to all of my friends.
