Great place for health food and natural products. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The products are clearly labeled and on the shelf in such a way that even if you have never been there you can find what you might be after. The nice thing about this store is that you can use a box or bring your own bags.

This store is amazing! If you are interested in anything healthy/organic, come here! Their selection is amazing. I really like all the beauty products and bath products. They have my favorite zero-waste shampoo and conditioner soap bars in store too now! If you are looking for pills, they have a ton. They also have a bunch of different food that is so good and its not that bad of a price.

I have been a shopper at Natural Grocer for many years, having started as a customer when the new location opened in Iowa City. I have been a very loyal customer and have spent a lot of money there! I greatly appreciate their strictly organic produce and enjoy the reasonable prices. Unfortunately, after an experience I had today in their store in Clive, I will be shopping elsewhere. When shopping in the produce section, four new customers walked in without any facial coverings at all. Being someone with a family member that has been immunocompromised recently, I calmly asked a Natural Grocer employee for support. The employee declined, said that they do not ask any customer to wear a mask, but encouraged me to negotiate with the maskless to wear a mask and directed me to where I could find their masks. Not surprisingly, given that I have no authority in the store, the four people all refused and then laughed in my face and made rude comments to my spouse. Essentially, Natural Grocer is putting the onus of safety onto their customers, which is clearly going to create altercations. Why would Natural Grocers not want all of their customers to feel a level of safety? As a privately owned business, they have the ability to require facial coverings! Multiple employees in the store were only wearing facial shields and no masks. This sends a pretty clear message to the customers about expectations and how much Natural Grocers actually cares about the safety. You can do better, Natural Grocers!

This store has a large inventory of vitamins that are reasonably priced. They have organic veggies and fruits which are a little on the expensive side. They are not a huge grocery store, but we like that fact. A little hard some times to get help, but they are knowledgeable and friendly when you do ask for help. Bring your own bags also.

As usual good, everything in this store is organic, vegan , all natural. They also have a nutritionist on the premises, Corrine; very knowledgeable !! but if shes unavailable, there is always someone there to answer any questions that you might have!

Quite a variety of quality foods, mainly organic and pricey. They do sell discounted free range eggs that are really a good deal - if you are a member. Worth joining.Quite helpful and friendly staff.

I buy about 20% of my groceries here. Lots of harder to find stuff, with friendly staff. We have a Gluten Free person in the family, and they have these items clustered in the store, which makes finding them a piece of cake.

Neat store with goods that you won’t see in common grocery stores such as ground ostrich or ground yak as well as canned Japanese tea. Like other organic stores, the price range there is a little higher.

I will never set foot in that store again after going in and seeing every customer except a few NOT wearing masks. Insane. There was a sign on the door but they dont enforce it.... Company policy. Well they lost my business.... And believe me I spent a lot of money at that store.

I wouldnt call this a grocery store. More of a health food store. Very limited produce selection. Lots and lots of vitamins and supplements. They do sell high quality items.

Employees are friendly, store is clean, and a good selection keep me coming back weekly.

Natural Grocers is a great place to go for all your grocery shopping needs. If they dont have something that you want them to carry, you just need to ask. You will also find lots of healthy and special diet needs options here that you wont find anywhere else.

Gluten tomato dairy free no problem. This place is the best prices in town for specialty foods. Shelves clearly labeled. Friendly and helpful staff. I dont give 5 stars but if the location was more convenient I would think about it.

I have been driving by this place for years and I wish I had stopped in sooner. The people who work here are all so friendly and helpful. They actually devote their attention to you while they are helping you. Amazing how that is so rare these days. The selection of stuff is great. Make sure to bring your own bags. They will have some different size cardboard boxes if you dont have bags.

Natural Grocers offers frequent sale promotions, and has a nice rewards program called {N}power for frequent shoppers.

I LOVE this store. Its unlike any other organic food store Ive been too. Its very big with tons of options. Usually with organic stores you have to sacrifice a lot of your favorite things, but at Natural Grocers theres no sacrificing at all. The employees are always very nice and you can tell they are proud of the store they work at.

If you are a vegetarian or vegan this is definitely a must stop spot. They have a wide range of options that far exceed other grocery stores. Dont get me wrong, there are a lot of choices for meat eaters too and it is very clean.

Love this place. Wish they sold alcohol though! They have very good produce and a large variety of supplements. Bulk foods are prepackaged which I think is odd since it counteracts the point of having bulk. I refill my water jugs here a lot, IMO they have the best filtered water. Some items are pricey but clearance items are usually a really good deal. They have natural health classes here on different topics, and provide free coffee for morning shoppers. Staff are usually good but sometimes slow at the checkout. You should bring your own bags since they do not provide bags, but if you forget you can use their boxes.

Get in have everything I wanted in a little high

Best OG food store around. Many options for anything you would want food wise. They have a reverse osmosis water dispenser also. There staff is really friendly and helpful. Levi helped me find exactly what I needed.

VERY high prices for such little items. Fresh Thyme just opened as well and their prices are AMAZING so Natural Grocers better step up their game if they wanna beat the competition. Not only is the store not inviting, but its also in a VERY bad location. Workers there all seem like potheads and are not helpful. Dont waste your money here, drive 3 min northwest and spend your money at fresh thyme.

Small alternative organic grocery store with incredibly reasonable prices on pretty much everything from produce to beauty products. When you shop there either bring your own bags or be prepared to have everything put in a box - this is one of their ways to save on costs and reduce waste.

I stopped in to see what this place was all about. I was expecting higher prices than the norm, but to my surprise I ended up buying three times more than I had planned because of some of the competitive prices they have. When I tried some of the things I absolutely loved and I will for sure be back to stock up again.

This is a place were they have everything for everything. I wanted a 50+ multi vitamin. It took me a long time to pick one. I dont understand a lot about the new products out. A worker walked by and she was great. The one I picked was not the best one for me. So she explained the difference to me. And she didnt try to up sell me for anymore money. Both were in the same price range. The also have free coffee which I like. I will go back..

Good merchandise, but service is poor. Expect sloooowwwww service at check-out. Today there was a cart full of groceries in front of me in the check-out line, but with no customer. I had to wait for the customer to return from wherever she was before the line could keep moving. Then the clerk was gabbing with the just-returned person, sharing her health-food experiences, telling the customer how one-quarter of her pay goes toward health food, showing the customer how to use her cell phone to sign up for something, and chatting about lord-knows-what while myself and others were in line. It got so bad I simply left my items in the store and left. Ive never been that frustrated simply trying to buy a few things.

Natural Grocers has a great selection for anyone with dietary needs e.g. organic, gluten-free, vegan, supplements,... The store is very clean and organized. They are very competitive on pricing, and match or beat prices of the bigger chains on many items.

This is a great store. The only thing I would wish they would do differently us not soak the cilantro and parsley. It tends to rot it from the inside. But all in all a great store.
