Jonathan the night manager saw me struggling with the items I had in hand and offered his assistance. Wow....what a nice man! Now Costco is beginning to carry gluten free items. I purchased gluten free chicken sausage and crackers! The sausage was good and not too salty. Awesome.

Giving my towns costco 3 stars for a few reasons. The parking lot as well as parking is chaotic very congested and takes forever to find parking. The customer service is very bland. People just do their jobs they dont offer anything more or anything less which in my opinion tht does not make it a great customer service place. Due to the pandemic things are a hit or miss shelves may be empty or may be stocked pricing is normal as i seen in other Costcos. Other things they sell such as clothing house decor toys have been great this fall season and they started to b well stocked on toys for the upcoming xmas season.

This Costco is very clean and organized, the worker are very kind and helpful, the demo people are excellent. Costco in Clifton, Nj is the best A+ all the way.

I love Costco. They have great stuff all the time. They have more and more vegan options as well. I recently got almonds covered with dark chocolate, a must buy for sure. I love it!!

Fruits are always fresh. Well kept. Organized. Checkout lines are never a long wait. Employees at checkout counters take initiative in a speedy transaction. Prices ALWAYS scan accurately unlike most supermarkets, like Walmart and shoprite.

Been going to this Costco for years, its Costco so take that with what you will. They have everything in stock when Im shopping. The gas line is really long but moves fairly quick. The store itself is really clean and staff is really nice.

INSANELY busy. Wednesday 11:30 am. How?? This is also the smallest Costco I have seen. Aisle are tight close together cant fit 2 carts side by side. Line to get out of the parking lot was even longer.

This Costco is not managed that well, too often carts are everywhere except for the areas they should be. The food area is messy, a lot of stuff is not restocked, they often are out of not so common items for weeks at a time: duck, lamb, … until they reappear one day. I assumed several times wrongly that Costco had discontinued some of my favorite things only to find them in different branches or they finally show up again after weeks. I also dislike that the cold storage is too often out of lettuce or berries etc with empty cartons piling up while pallets of the missing goods are wrapped and inaccessible in the top of a shelf…So, it is poorly managed IMO.

Great place to shop! One is able to get almost everything one needs for his/her home and business both in bulk and otherwise. Many shoppers were there purchasing goods, as myself and family. I enjoy shopping at this Marketplace! Cudo to the management and staff!

They had me leave the line to renew my membership as I was about to pay. And then I left my cart on the side and within 10 mins my cart was no where to be found and all the employees blamed one another, while my cart was missing. Horrible experience will never go back to the Clifton location ever again

My dad has covid and had me run an errand, he mistakenly gave me and old and expired membership card. I was not allowed to buy anything, and within minutes of closing I could not go back and get the correct one. A couple was kind enough to let me use their card for the purchase and the attendant at the register stopped us, started to question me and my relationship with this couple, asked me what the gentleman’s name was and called the supervisor. The supervisor said he would take my things and that I should open my own account. My dad has been a customer since Costco could ever exist and the customer service shown today was unacceptable, we will be taking our thousands of dollars worth of shopping and renewed membership fees elsewhere.

Im happy this Costco finally started supplying more Tattooed Chef frozen dinners. Hopefully they get the Tattooed chef pizza bowls, plant base sausage breakfast bowl, cauliflower mac & cheese and more. If Costco gets more Tattooed Chef then Ill shop there way more and give 5 stars.

It is a costco, just like every other one! This is our local one!To start off, parking is CRAZY!!!!!!! It is in a weird location, so even getting into the lot or getting out is confusing!!!! The lot is massive and your better off going closer to the back to find a spot, or follow someone..They have a gas station with lines 6 cars deep lol! The price is worth it, .30+ less than everywhere else.They also have a liquor store, so stock up!The place is as clean as you can expect them to be, but no matter when you go, it is always a zoo... Ive tried going 10 am on Wednesdays, and its no better than weekends lol.They have everything you could need food wise. I have never really had any issues with finding what I was looking for.They finally brought back the samples! Its nice to snack as we walk around the store.The lines at the checkout are confusing, luckily my wife knows the ins and outs of their systems!itbgets very crazyAll in all, if you need 20lbs of hamburgers lol, this is your store!

Typical Costco nothing to gripe about. Everything runs smoothly. They seem to always keep the shelves stocked (how do they do that). The workers are always helpful. Even when they don’t know the answer they go and find out for you.All that’s missing is a low sodium meal

Big Costco and tons of selections and a variety of items. they had more food products than the one I usually frequent. unfortunately probably due to the time I went (close to closing), there werent any samples which is one huge positive of going to Costco. surprisingly I found it was open even past closing and there were just tons of people there shopping.

You cant beat their ( BIG) Rotisserie Chickens for a fast meal at home for 4.

I rejoined after 10 years away and I now remember why I left. While I do love the savings, it is chaos inside, and I have to buy everything in such bulk Im already worried some will spoil. I leaned more into perishables, so I guess well see how long things last and how fast I consume.

Just want to give a huge Shout out to Ricky in cashier. What a superhero this guy is, almost stopped me from using my moms Costco card to buy chicken-gave me a crazy hard time. Not to mention he pretended to be a manager, till I asked for the corporate number, then his actual manager came. Brittany, Wich is an actual sweetheart, let me buy my chicken and adviced me to get added onto my moms account to avoid issues with amazing employees like Ricky.

Vanessa carded me and basically rejected my money for two whole carts of essential groceries because my dad (who owned the card) wasnt with me. I showed my ID to prove relation, even bothered to call him while hes busy working overtime and they still rejected me. I spent 3 hours looking and gathering everything and we wasted gas to come here. My sister (the secondary holder) is a single mother who is always busy. Youre better off giving your business to Sams Club, they wont be such pretentious jerks who dont care for customer service

Costco in this location is great in all its business/ but parking is annoying theres Anarchy and needs to be addressed. Line formation to the park lot should enter through the Tire shop & exit out through the Gas station. Just like you have the town police on Holidays, that may help congested parking lots.

This place has the worst worst customer service! You guys been out of stock for meat weeks now which is not good because i have the membership mostly to buy meat from you guys. I go there to shop i have my wife’s Costco card which i have shopped before many many other times no problem okay. but this time there was a girl that wasn’t in good mood her name was Brittany (African-American lady) she did not take my card because it wasn’t with my name :/ Again they never checked the name on the card. All they ask you to present the card with you then your all good. . There was a gentleman that wanted to help me out in that case and we used his card but guess what she said that the payment has to match the name on the Costco card. The customer service is very mean the people i spoke over the phone theyre not helpful.

Apparently they are trying to force everyone in the same household buy individual membership cards.. I had the same issue.. we went shopping with my sister and mom. My sister has the membership and mom has the second card. Javon H carded and did not accept my credit card since my sister was on the other line with another cart and I was in this guys line.. He saw that both card holder was with me yet he said it had to be card holders credit card.. as I told them, you are not the only market around here.. i only started shopping here because of covid.. i did not want to go multiple places.. now that we got vaccinated, i will be back to whole foods, shop rite, where people treat you respectfully.. Costco needs to review this move.. nobody will buy two membership for the same household.. if the cardholder is not available for shopping, the other person will simply go someplace else.. eventually they will not renew membership next year because we cant use it whenever we need.. up to you

Costco has their quality standards, Organic and non organic both varieties are on the shelves. Products are a deal with good bulk prices but I must say customer service needs a little attention. You know I had a lady shouting at my 2 year old because he was a little too loud, he likes it when his voice echos. But she was horrible, saying all kinds of bad thing about my baby. When I told a staff that I do not appreciate this kind of behavior on Costco premise, all she had to say was that the old lady didnt work for Costco. Unbelievable.

The store in Clifton is great well organized inside. Parking lot a zoo. Who ever designed exit from gas station obviously worked for the state prior. 8 lanes of traffic merge into 2 in a matter of 20 feet. Good luck getting out on a weekend.NEVER order anything from Costco online. Order never showed up 8 hrs on phone calls 7 different depts. To be told your credit card was charged on the 7th and now that you brought it to our attention it will be refunded in 7 days. So they held 800 dollars for 21 days. Answer from every dept sorry for the inconvenience

This place is a disaster. It starts with the parking. Absolutely insane, they need to repaint the directional arrows before someone gets killed. Entry a mess try and ask for help. The place itself is an absolute mess. Management should be embarassed and retrained its obvious they dont have a clue. Yes I have managed a big box business. How people dont fall on the stuff all over the floor is a miracle. I left you will never see me again.

Always a good experience at this Costco although the Clifton Costco is quite overcrowded making it especially difficult to find a parking spot. Netter to go in afternoon or late evening. Rush hours are crazy. However very friendly and helpful staff and good stock compensates for pretty much everything! Pl note they have a liquor store inside but that is seperate from cosco and they do not have much deals.

My experience here has always been great here, until yesterday. My mother was charged $149 for bagels. As she was walking out she noticed the receipt had a code that said *INVALID* but still charged $149. When she spoke to customer service they counted the items she had in her cart and then counted the items on the receipt and said everything looked fine. A manager was called over and that’s when they realized she had been charged $149 for bagels. They laughed it off and gave her a refund. Nonetheless, moral of the story is, make sure you check your receipts.

My family and I have been loyal customers to this location for years. Today was one of the worst experiences I have ever received by one of the employees!!! I feel like my mom was racially profiled for being Hispanic. The employee thought my mom didn’t speak English and she was by herself she had another thing coming!!! She wasn’t alone and she spoke perfect English!!! My mom was basically told by the lady that checks the receipts at the end that my mom didn’t pay for 4 items in the receipt. My parents had 2 separate carts and paid separately but because my dads cart was to full he put 4 items in her cart (not thinking it would be an issue) . She claimed she checks and counts every single item in everyone’s cart(WHICH IS A LIE). As other people were passing by she barely checked their carts, So why did my mom physically had to show proof for everything that she bought? Another girl came to help us out and checked out receipts and carts and everything was fine. Clearly that lady is miserable in her job!

The amount of people I felt like it was STUCK rush hour traffic in the store and i had to ask people to move their carts just to get into a isle . the check out likes were ridiculous. it was PACKED AND OVER CROWDED . cant go to church but we can over pack a super store and no one cares about safety of this virus in this store.

My wife and I love Costco. We got a king sized mattress the other week and we love it. I am always satisfied with anything we get here, since if we arent Costco has a very good return policy. Get their Visa credit card if you can. You get cash back on everything. Also, their gas is always the cheapest, but they only take Visa cards, no MasterCard or cash at the gas station.

Large, wholesale facility with great variety of products! I go to this Costco with my family on a seldom basis & enjoy the variety of sample, products & sale prices on everyday household products.
